As Xu Yi approached the cave entrance, he grew more nervous.
When he reached the entrance and saw no bees, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
The fact that none had rushed out ant the bees inside were likely chilled to the bone.
It’s unsurprising, considering how extre the weather had been those couple of days. It wouldn’t be shocking if they all had frozen to death.
Xu Yi leaned in to take a look and was imdiately t with the scent of honey.
This indicated there was indeed honey inside.
Without any container, Xu Yi simply used a knife to tap the trunk.
Ultimately, the sound from hollow parts differs from solid ones, allowing Xu Yi to saw off the sections with honey and the hive, and carry them back to camp.
In the end, Xu Yi sawed out a long wood piece around four to five ters.
As for the exact quantity of honey inside, Xu Yi couldn’t say. Anyway, he hoisted this long piece and headed back to camp.
After all, it’s just eleven o’clock, and Xu Yi could still make it back to camp.
He wasn’t entirely comfortable with Lu Ke being at the camp alone, and a late lunch wasn’t a big deal.

In the wilderness, due to an unbalanced diet, the stomach and intestines are naturally hard. Not eating on ti would only increase the likelihood of stomach issues.
Saying this, Lu Ke turned her head to pour Xu Yi a cup of warm water.
