As soon as Xu Yi started working, Lu Ke went to handle the clay. She seed to show no signs of being sick anymore. Even if it were her ti of the month, it didn’t seem to affect her.

Lu Ke nodded, picking up her crossbow and stealthily moving toward the faint sound.

Even without getting closer, he had determined it wasn’t Wang Jin and Lu Yao, but so kind of animal.

"Are those monkeys?" Lu Ke asked in surprise because the animals could stand upright.
Xu Yi shook his head; judging by the head, they didn’t look like monkeys.
At any rate, they weren’t species from their planet; they were native animals here.
"Stay still, let’s see if there are any other animals," Xu Yi suggested, thinking the animals resembled monkeys in behavior.
He worried they might be social creatures.
Seeing the two animals toss stones with such force and agility, none hit their target despite the throw.
Such creatures were more suited for hand-to-hand combat, posing high risks.
"Don’t provoke them, absolutely don’t provoke them. Slip away quickly while they haven’t noticed us!"
"Aren’t these the sa Raccoon Monkeys that chased Wanzi and cousin for hours? How co Loli Ke and Xu Yi have run into them too?"
"I’m already anticipating scenes of them sprinting through the jungle. I wonder if Loli Ke can still run so long, especially since she’s got her period."
"If there are only two of them, they’re practically handing Xu Yi and Lu Ke points. Xu Yi and Lu Ke managed to kill a 12-point black bear, surely two 8-point monkeys won’t be a problem?"
"The chances of there being only two are low, there might be a dozen or more."
Viewers familiar with the Raccoon Monkey expressed concern. Though Wang Jin and Lu Yao had spent the entire encounter fleeing, not fighting the monkeys, they knew the monkeys were tough opponents.
If it weren’t for the monkeys’ inferior endurance and stamina compared to Wang Jin and Lu Yao, the outco could have been reversed.
So, seeing Xu Yi and Lu Ke approach the Raccoon Monkeys, their nerves were instantly on edge.
Xu Yi observed for a mont before drawing his bow.
With only two of them in sight, Xu Yi felt they could attack.
Lu Ke also aid at the other one, hoping to take them out directly with luck.
The two almost simultaneously released their sharp arrows, both hitting their targets.
Lu Ke aid for the neck, her crossbow arrow embedding halfway; although struck, the Raccoon Monkey clawed at its neck and even pulled the arrow out.
Xu Yi struck the chest, but it didn’t seem to hit the heart.
So, the Raccoon Monkey yelled, a stone flying toward Xu Yi.
However, the throw was off, missing both Xu Yi and Lu Ke.
Then, it started charging toward them.
"Leave it to , you cover ," Xu Yi said, shouldering his hunting bow and drawing his dagger, charging at the Raccoon Monkey.
Lu Ke had already reloaded another crossbow arrow, ready to shoot at any mont.
As for the one she hit, after pulling out the neck arrow, it imdiately collapsed.
In monts, the Raccoon Monkey was upon Xu Yi.
It swung its claws, aiming for Xu Yi’s throat.
Xu Yi jabbed his dagger forward.
The dagger slashed the Raccoon Monkey’s outstretched forelimb, causing it to howl and retract its limb.
But it showed no sign of fleeing, lunging to bite Xu Yi instead.
Xu Yi sidestepped, slashing out with his dagger.
He sliced open the Raccoon Monkey’s upper abdon, leaving a gaping wound.
"Howl."
The Raccoon Monkey seed unfazed by pain, turning to swipe its deadly claws at Xu Yi again.
Xu Yi was startled by the monkey’s ferocity, never expecting it to keep attacking even after two blows.
