Lu Yao looked seriously for a mont, then said sowhat bitterly, "That’s right, it’s the Giant Wolves we encountered before. I didn’t expect they’d actually ta them into mounts, they’re amazing."

Lu Yao felt she had been dealt another heavy blow, feeling like every ti she t Xu Yi and Lu Ke, she’d be hit once again.

Moreover, the blows were quite hard.

She thought she had caught a wild donkey and could be more advantageous than Xu Yi and Lu Ke.

As it turned out, they had tad wild wolves and turned them into mounts.

If the wild donkey ca close, it would probably be bitten to death by the Giant Wolf with one bite.

"I’ll go open the door," Wang Jin said and then ran to the gate to open the fence door.

The door was very heavy, at least a hundred pounds or so.

However, Xu Yi watched Wang Jin move it without much effort, indicating that her strength was greater than before.

Then, Lu Yao dragged the wild donkey into the enclosure.

Once inside the camp, Wang Jin and Lu Yao tied up the wild donkey.

The two felt utterly exhausted.

Xu Yi and Lu Ke led their mounts directly into Wang Jin’s camp and moved the campfire inside as well.

At this mont, Xu Yi noticed that they had actually planted vegetables in the camp. It looked like they hadn’t been planted long, probably less than a week.

Perhaps they had been frozen by the snow yesterday and today, making them limp.

Xu Yi glanced roughly and estimated there were about a hundred plants.

To be honest, it really was a bit enviable. Although they themselves also had wild herbs and could eat them often.

"Lu Ke, how did you ta the Giant Wolf? It’s incredible!" Wang Jin looked at the muzzled Giant Wolf with eyes full of envy.

"Beat it into submission. These beasts are hard to ta, so using your fists to wear down their temperant will do," Xu Yi first said, thinking Wang Jin and Lu Yao were too gentle with the wild donkey.

The law of the jungle is the best rule in the wilderness.

They are naturally afraid of the strong; if they’re not afraid of you, you’re not strong enough.

Like reindeer, they get very timid when they see the Giant Wolves. The Giant Wolves et a pack of tigers and they get just as timid.

"Is it really that simple?" Lu Yao looked a bit doubtful.

Just give a wild donkey a few beatings, and it can really be tad?

"Of course, with the addition of saddles, muzzles and the like, it’s actually not that hard to ta. Many groups already have their own mounts," Xu Yi added, believing his tip was sufficient.

The rest was up to Lu Yao to handle on her own.

Lu Yao nodded, looking a little grateful at Xu Yi.

Then, she walked towards Xu Yi’s reindeer.

"Is this a reindeer?" Lu Yao ca to inspect the muzzle Xu Yi ntioned to see how he had made it so she could replicate one.

After all, they did have quite a bit of fur.

Reindeer, no matter how they were, were more docile than Giant Wolves and wouldn’t bite people.

But as Lu Yao approached, the reindeer showed so hostility.

Then, the reindeer got a slap from Xu Yi and imdiately beca much more obedient.

This was considered a live demonstration.

Lu Yao looked at the now quiet reindeer, went over and patted the spot where Xu Yi slapped it, soothing its mood.

"Reindeer, like the kind that pulls Santa’s sleigh?" Wang Jin walked over in surprise. She didn’t dare approach the Giant Wolf, but reindeer were no problem.

"That’s right, they’re pretty good as mounts. Xu Yi only took a day to ta it. There are lots of reindeer in this forest, you can catch them," Lu Ke said while holding onto the Giant Wolf.

"Yes, my cousin and I killed one, but at the ti we didn’t consider using it as a mount, it was really foolish," Wang Jin said regretfully, as they had only been in the forest for a few days at that point.

If they had started taming reindeer then, they might have found Xu Yi and Lu Ke sooner.

"It’s not too late, there are still 21 days left until the hundredth day," Lu Ke said with a sweet smile, making the Giant Wolf sit down.

Regarding the command to sit, the Giant Wolf couldn’t execute it very well yet.

But now it was quite cooperative with Lu Ke, sitting down imdiately after hearing the command.

Wang Jin watched with even greater envy.

"Lu Ke, you’ve trained this Giant Wolf well, it feels just like a dog," Wang Jin said as she walked over to Lu Ke intending to pet it.

"Giant Ha, hold steady," Lu Ke warned as she saw Giant Ha preparing to stand up.

Giant Ha imdiately wagged its tail a few tis and then didn’t dare to be fierce.

Lu Yao watched, saying envy was a lie.

She was more filled with admiration.

Xu Yi and Lu Ke had actually captured and tad the Giant Wolf.

"Is its na Giant Ha?" Wang Jin asked, and her eyes turned to crescents after touching Giant Ha’s head. She quite liked dogs, although she didn’t love raising them.

Liking doesn’t necessarily an raising. Wang Jin felt she couldn’t take care of a dog well enough and couldn’t take it out for walks every day. So, she settled for internet-based pet-keeping.

Though the Giant Wolf wasn’t a dog, it was still a canine, which also endeared it to Wang Jin.

"Mm, doesn’t it look a lot like a husky? So we nad it Giant Ha. I’m saying, Giant Ha is really smart. Xu Yi and I only needed a day..."

Lu Ke chattered on, making Xu Yi wonder if he’d talked too little to her, as she turned into a chatterbox when she t Wang Jin.

Lu Yao didn’t join in and instead went to cook dinner.

They dug a tree hole under the treehouse to store so at.

Since the temperature inside the tree hole was lower, it could keep fresh at for two days, like a fresh-keeping fridge.

"Have you guys had dinner yet? This is so Cloud Scale Leopard at, it tastes pretty good," Lu Yao said to Xu Yi, and if they hadn’t eaten she would cook more.

"No need, Lu Ke and I have already eaten," Xu Yi declined Lu Yao’s offer. They had indeed eaten jerky. Besides, freeloading should wait until after the hundred days.

Lu Yao nodded and then went to light a fire to cook.

They dug a channel to let water flow into and out of the camp.

This made fetching water very convenient.

As for personal hygiene, they made a chamber pot, so they could empty it during the day, which was quite convenient and clean.

"Did you dig your treehouse by yourselves?" Xu Yi asked after taking a turn around and reaching Lu Yao’s side. With Wang Jin and Lu Ke chatting away, seemingly with secrets, he didn’t join them.

"Yes, there was a small hole originally, and we expanded it. Xu Yi, is your camp far from here?" Lu Yao asked as she glanced at Xu Yi. She also wanted to check out Xu Yi and Lu Ke’s camp.
