Upon hearing this, Qin Yi sighed faintly. It turned out to be another tale of the farr and the snake, the Dongguo gentleman and the wolf’s story.

Qin Yi looked in the direction of the voice to see the Second Elder, Fourth Elder, and Eighth Elder glaring at Jian Qingcang with eyes red with anger.

The Second Elder, Fourth Elder, and Eighth Elder, trembling with anger, fists clenched. They realized they had been used by Jian Qingcang all along. Sacrifices to the Elf Divine Tree were not their direct actions, but they knew of it and never stopped it, indirectly causing the deaths of their clansn and innocent humans.
"Yes, we are fools, to the very core. We’ve wronged the Elf Clan, wronged the ancestors of the Elf Clan. At this point, there’s no blaming anyone else, mistakes made must be punished. Jian Qingcang, follow to Hell."
The Second Elder cried out in rage, charging madly towards Jian Qingcang.

No one answered, because no one knew what it was.
Qin Yi couldn’t figure out what this thing was either, sothing that could grow out from a person’s body. Was it sothing Jian Qingcang planted in the Second Elder’s body long ago, or was it part of his cultivation technique?
