Qin Yi raised his hand, a fierce wind erupted, sweeping dust and smoke into the sky.
"Enter!" Qin Yi’s voice was indifferent.
Cong Yang and the others exchanged glances; destroying soone’s gate was a major taboo. Qin Yi directly shattered the Shi family’s gate, tearing all pretenses away.
The five of them stepped forward.
Upon entering, Qin Yi realized the Shi family’s extravagance surpassed his imagination, with even the floor paved with high-quality bluestone, each piece identical in size.
"Who dares to make trouble at the Shi family?"
A group of Shi family bodyguards rushed out, each wielding a gun.
No guardian family could have all Qi Refiners, so hiring a large number of bodyguards to bolster their facade was common.
But equipping bodyguards with guns in Longxia was sheer arrogance to the extre.
Qin Yi raised his hand, the Flood Dragon Spear in his grasp, and tossed it out.
Swish!
The Flood Dragon Spear turned into a streak of red, swift as lightning, and amidst a series of harrowing screams, over ten Shi family bodyguards who charged out were pierced through and fell dead.
Qin Yi caught the returning Flood Dragon Spear, expressionless, walking deeper inside.
Just as they passed through a corridor, the sound of dense footsteps arose.
Yet more bodyguards rushed out.
Swish!
The Flood Dragon Spear turned into a red light streaking forth, blood splattered, piercing through bodies, slaughtering them clean in an instant.
Qin Yi led Cong Yang and the others from the gate to the inner courtyard, killing at least dozens along the way.
The entire Shi family’s outer courtyard was enveloped in a pungent sll of blood.
Qin Yi stopped, for soone had blocked their path on the square of the inner courtyard, comprised of Qi Refiners, ordinary people, as well as bodyguards.
Leading them was an elderly man in his fifties or sixties, clad in a golden robe with a jade belt at the waist, but his appearance was lacking; instead of an imperial aura, he seed like a monkey wearing a crown.
"That’s Shi Yushan," Cong Yang said.
Qin Yi squinted slightly, looking at Shi Yushan with an impassive gaze.
"Cong Yang, you have great courage, for engaging in combat between Guardians is forbidden, and yet you dare to violate the rules set by the Four Great Guardian Gods—are you tired of living?" Shi Yushan’s dry, emaciated face twisted, roaring loudly.
"Even though you are reputed strongn, have you thought about the consequences of breaking the rules established by the Four Guardian Gods?"
A tall, frivolous-looking young man, holding a provocatively dressed woman, continued groping her while speaking.
"That’s Shi Gu," Cong Yang said in a deep voice.
Qin Yi glanced at Shi Gu, then he lost interest and spared him no second look. He then grabbed Shi Wentao by the neck from Cong Yang’s hand, crushing his throat with a snap, then flung him aside.
With a thud, Shi Wentao’s corpse landed before Shi Yushan, raising a cloud of dust.
Shi Yushan’s gaze was shadowed, his old face twisted.
"Who are you? Do you realize the consequences of your actions?" Shi Yushan hissed.
Qin Yi was silent, holding the Flood Dragon Spear, approaching Shi Yushan step by step, the killing intent on him so palpable that the air within a hundred ters solidified.
The Shi family mbers’ expressions changed drastically, as if pricked by thorns, faced with terrifying killing intent.
Shi Yushan’s old face also changed abruptly: "Who exactly are you?"
"Qin Yi."
Qin Yi?
The Shi family was astonished, not expecting Qin Yi to co in person.
They knew well of Qin Yi’s battle prowess, for he was a God of Killing, ruthless and decisive in his thods.
"Qin Yi, do you know our relationship with Murong Qianxun?" Shi Gu was sowhat terrified; he had cursed Qin Yi in the morning only because he was still hungover from last night’s drinking, leading to his reckless audacity.
Under normal circumstances, he wouldn’t dare even with double the courage.
Qin Yi’s gaze was cold and indifferent: "Even if it’s Murong Qianxun, or even the Vermilion Bird Guardian God standing here today, I would still obliterate your Shi family."
The Shi family mbers’ faces were alard; Qin Yi was known for storming into the Southern Country to annihilate the Zhi family, even slaying two Nascent Soul Stage old monsters. If he truly decided to kill, who could withstand him?
Shi Yushan panicked.
Shi Gu was sweating on his forehead.
The Shi family was in a state of chaos, completely lacking the arrogance they had shown to Cong Yang and the others.
Their greatest reliance was Murong Qianxun.
But Murong Qianxun might intimidate Cong Yang and his group but couldn’t scare Qin Yi.
"Qin Yi, this is the territory of the Vermilion Bird Guardian God; even if we are at fault, it’s not for you to ddle, is it?" Shi Gu shouted, struggling to suppress his inner fear.
Qin Yi looked at him calmly: "What Vermilion Bird Guardian God’s territory? This is Longxia; as long as it’s Longxia’s land, there’s nothing I, Qin Yi, can’t handle. Didn’t you tell Cong Yang that even if I ca personally, so what? So now I’ll tell you, nothing except exterminating your Shi family."
Shi Gu’s face was panic-stricken: "Qin Yi, that was just drunken nonsense, not to be taken seriously."
"It doesn’t matter; the Shi family, as a Guardian Family, doesn’t think about protecting the people and benefiting them. Instead, you act tyrannically, causing unrest in part of the world. After today, the world will no longer have the Shi family."
Swish!
Qin Yi didn’t waste words. As his words fell, he turned into a streak of light, lunging at Shi Yushan.
"Attack, attack him and kill him."
Shi Yushan roared madly.
Swish swish...!
Swords drew out, cold light glistening.
Four of the Shi family’s Qi Refiners charged toward Qin Yi.
These four included two with Qi Cultivation Perfection and two at the Foundation Establishnt Early Stage.
Pfft!
The Big Halberd covered in Purple Light stabbed out like lightning, instantly shattering a sword into pieces, easily piercing through its wielders’ body.
Qin Yi couldn’t be bothered to pull the Halberd out; with a slight flick of his wrist, the Purple Light swept across it, with a boom, the body exploded, flesh flying.
Swish!
The Halberd swept horizontally, a streak of Purple Light flashed in the air fleetingly.
Pfft!
A head flew off, blood gushing from the severed neck like a fountain, spraying over a ter high.
Swoosh!
The Halberd danced wildly, stirring dazzling purple ripples, slicing through one at the waist like tofu.
The last one scread in fear and turned to run.
Swish!
The Halberd flew out, stabbing from the back, piercing through the chest, pinning him to the ground.
In just a few breaths, none of the four Qi Refiners survived, their deaths horrific.
In reality, these four Qi Refiners were nothing against the current Qin Yi, effortlessly annihilated with a wave of his hand. Yet, he slaughtered them with the bloodiest thods to warn the world and announce to all Qi Refiners, not to forget their original intentions, or this would be their fate.
Qin Yi raised his hand, and the Flood Dragon Spear returned flying.
The Shi family mbers were terrified out of their wits, trembling uncontrollably.
"Qin Yi, aren’t you afraid Murong Qianxun will cause trouble for you with such actions? Aren’t you afraid of the Vermilion Bird Guardian God’s bla?" Shi Yushan yelled in a voice that failed to conceal his fear.
Qin Yi’s eyes were calm as water: "Threatening will only hasten your deaths."
"Qin Yi, we admit our mistake; we can make peace. We’ll do whatever you want until you’re satisfied."
Shi Gu was frightened, his voice quivering; he might be ranked sixty-sothing, but Qin Yi could kill Nascent Soul Stage old monsters effortlessly.
