Zhang Shun, having long dwelled in places of ill repute, could tell from Zhang Minmin’s expression that she was more than willing.

Casually, he took out a room card and handed it to Zhang Minmin, grinning, "Clean yourself up and wait for here."

Zhang Minmin, with a coquettish smile, accepted the room card, "Young Master Zhang, make sure you co early."

Zhang Shun nodded with a smile.

"Young Master’s charm is unmatched; just a nod and won throw themselves at you."

After Zhang Minmin left, Zhang Shun’s personal bodyguard expressed his admiration.

Zhang Shun brushed it off, kicked the bodyguard lightly, and laughed, "Stop flattering here. Is it really my charm? It’s my status and financial power."

"Young Master, you hold great status and wealth, I really don’t understand why Jingru..."

Zhang Shun’s expression turned cold all of a sudden.

The bodyguard, startled, slapped himself hard, "I’m sorry, Young Master, I misspoke."

"Never ntion that woman in front of again."

"Yes."

Zhang Shun said indifferently, "Rember, these days, sincere feelings are no match for cold hard cash, and emotions are rely for physical needs. Never invest your feelings in won who can be bought with money, it’s too hurtful."

The bodyguard nodded urgently.

Zhang Shun glanced down, where Zhao Feiwu’s wife was indeed being ferocious; even as Zhao Feiwu was crying and peeing himself, she continued to kick and punch.

"Go, make them leave, this place still needs to operate. Rember to make them pay the bill, even if it’s just a few thousand bucks, that’s still money."

The bodyguard answered and led a few people out.

Zhang Shun sneered, whispering, "Zhao Feiwu, this is just an appetizer, the main course is yet to co."

Suddenly, Zhang Shun slapped his forehead. He had forgotten that he had already made a date with a woman for tonight before scheduling with Zhang Minmin. What to do about that?

Zhang Shun pondered for a mont and finally ca up with a good plan: just et them both.

Zhang Shun wasn’t born reckless; he was once a romantic fool—it’s just that he got deeply hurt.

Zhao Feiwu and his wife were eventually driven out. No matter how fierce Zhao Feiwu’s wife was, facing a few robust, burly n, she had to capitulate.

Zhang Shun reported the situation here to Zhang Hao.

Zhang Hao only said one thing, that this matter must be handled to satisfy Mr. Qin before he hung up.

Zhang Shun knew that only by focusing on helping Qin Yi, the Zhang Family could continue to thrive.

...

...

The next day.

Zhao Feiwu arrived at his office fully wrapped, wearing a mask, hat, and sunglasses.

With his bruised face, he couldn’t et anyone.

Suddenly, a dark-skinned young guy ca over and snatched off his hat.

"What are you doing?" Zhao Feiwu shouted angrily.

The young guy was soone he’d trained, practically his apprentice, who was usually anything but deferential to him. Yet, at this critical mont, he dared to snatch his hat off when his head bore injuries, those sparse, curly hairs had been yanked out by his wife last night.

"Oh wow, it really is Brother Zhao. I thought it was so big celebrity." The young guy teased with a mischievous grin.

"Brother Zhao, what happened to your head? You didn’t get beat up for stealing soone’s wife, did you?"

"Tsk tsk, those are so pretty heavy injuries."

Zhao Feiwu glared, "Are you looking to end your career?"

"Brother Zhao, stop pulling rank with . Just because you’ve been in the industry longer doesn’t an there’s anything special about you. On another note, I’ve got so good news—I plan to stick around, while you might not last much longer."

Zhao Feiwu fud, "What do you an by that?"

The young guy pulled out his phone and played a video, "Brother Zhao, if you hadn’t said it yourself, none of us would’ve known what a scumbag you are. Even killed soone, aren’t you afraid of karma?"

Zhao Feiwu was on the verge of wetting his pants with fear when he saw the video. It was precisely the clip from last night bragging to Zhang Minmin about his glorious deeds.

"How did you get that? That bitch introduced you to , you’re in cahoots, why are you setting up?" Zhao Feiwu realized that if this video got out, he’d be completely finished and reached to snatch the phone.

The young guy stepped back, sneering coldly, "Brother Zhao, don’t accuse improperly. The video was just sent to everyone’s phone here not long ago, everyone received it."

Chilled to the bone, with cold sweat pouring over his forehead, Zhao Feiwu suddenly understood why everyone looked at him oddly when he walked in. It wasn’t from his get-up, but because of the video.

"By the way, Brother Zhao, the Boss wants you to report to him as soon as you arrive. Better hurry up. Maybe he’ll even give you a Scumbag of the Year award."

...

...

Half an hour later, Zhao Feiwu staggered out of the office building, eyes empty and face ashen.

"Scum, worse than an animal."

The old doorman spat at him.

Zhao Feiwu didn’t bother to argue; he was now disgraced, a rat that everyone wanted to stamp out.

Just then, several hulking n ca rushing toward him.

"Are you Zhao Feiwu?"

Their ferocious deanor indicated they weren’t here with good intentions.

"I’m not."

"He’s Zhao Feiwu." The old doorman imdiately exposed him.

"You bastard, dare to lie to us?"

"Get him, the bastard had the nerve to ss with my wife; no wonder she was so upset those days."

"Why waste ti talking? Beat him to death."

The group rushed in on Zhao Feiwu, fists and feet flying, as if afraid they’d get shortchanged.

Zhao Feiwu was utterly defenseless.

Ten minutes later, the hulking n swaggered off, leaving Zhao Feiwu barely conscious, his pants drenched as he again found himself beaten to the point of losing control.

"Hey, if you’re not dead, get lost quickly. Don’t dirty this place."

The old doorman expressed disgust; how many people had this scum hurt? Better if he were dead.

Zhao Feiwu struggled nurous tis to get up, his body wrought with injuries, twitching in pain as he staggered to his car.

The white Volkswagen he bought with bribes, a place he had romped with female students. However, with his body hurting so much, he could barely grip the steering wheel.

"Damn it, you bully , do you really think I could last so long in this place without backing? It won’t be long before I’m back here, wait and see..." Zhao Feiwu cursed under his breath, driving to the hospital.

As he reached an intersection, a large truck loaded with sand and stone suddenly barreled across, speeding like a raging monster roaring toward him.

Zhao Feiwu scread in fright, slamming on the brakes.

Boom!

The white Volkswagen was hit and flipped over, entirely deford.

"Save, save ..."

Clamped between the airbag and seat, Zhao Feiwu’s mouth was full of frothy blood, barely breathing.

A man in a baseball cap got down from the truck, squatted beside the crumpled Volkswagen, and peered in, stunned, muttering, "Still not dead? Hell of a tough life."
