However, when Lan Jiaojiao was about to push Qin Yi upstairs, Lan Tianji stopped her.

"Jiaojiao, the master said only you are allowed to go up."

Lan Jiaojiao furrowed her delicate eyebrows slightly but didn’t get angry. She said to Qin Yi, "Wait here for a mont. I’ll go ask Grandpa. Tianji brother, please take care of him for ."

Lan Tianji nodded slightly.

After Lan Jiaojiao went upstairs, Lan Tianji looked at Qin Yi with disdain in his eyes and said, "You should leave."

"Hmm?" Qin Yi was surprised, "Lan Jiaojiao invited here, and you’re asking to leave? The old man won’t be treated?"

Lan Tianji didn’t hide his contempt at all and sneered, "The Lan Family’s dical skills are unparalleled. You should think about healing your own leg first. This is not a place for you to scam money."

"Tianji is right. Our Lan Family has been doctors for generations. If others find out we need soone else to treat us, wouldn’t that be ridiculous?" Lan Xingwang sneered.

"Jiaojiao is really ridiculous too, inviting a cripple here. I really don’t know what she’s thinking."

Lan Jiaojiao’s third sister stepped forward, looked at Qin Yi with disdain, and said, "I want to ask, how much did Lan Jiaojiao pay you to co here?"

"Fifty million." Qin Yi said indifferently.

"How generous, spending fifty million to bring a fraudster here."

Qin Yi sneered, "Ma’am, I haven’t even treated yet. How do you know I’m a fraud?"

"Who are you calling ma’am? Are you blind along with your crippled leg? I’m only twenty-eight, in my pri years of beauty."

"I can believe you’re like a flower, but like jade? Forget it." Qin Yi sneered.

"You damned cripple, how dare you insult . This is the Lan Family. Apologize imdiately, or I’ll have you thrown out."

Qin Yi’s eyes flashed with disdain. He shook his head, not bothering to respond to her.

Uncle Chen let out a cold laugh, suggesting it might not be so easy to throw this person out.

"Seeing that Jiaojiao invited you, I won’t make things difficult. Leave on your own, and I’ll explain to Jiaojiao." Lan Tianji said with an arrogant and disdainful look at Qin Yi.

Qin Yi looked at Lan Tianji with a half-smile and said, "How about we make a bet?"

"You, betting with ? You’re not qualified." Lan Tianji sneered.

Qin Yi rolled his eyes. This guy was also soone the old man picked up; his status was only marginally better than Qin Yi’s as a son-in-law without any backing. Where did his superiority co from?

"Coward." Qin Yi taunted.

"What did you say?" Lan Tianji looked at Qin Yi coldly.

"I said you’re a coward." Qin Yi taunted, thinking, who is he to put on airs in front of ?

Lan Tianji’s eyes turned icy, and a strong gust of Qi swirled around him, a hint of murderous intent flickering on his face. But the force around him quickly dissipated.

Qin Yi paused, looking over, realizing Lan Jiaojiao had co down.

However, the Qi from Lan Tianji’s body was even stronger than Uncle Chen’s.

Lan Jiaojiao ca up to Qin Yi and smiled, "Grandpa agreed."

Lan Tianji’s gaze darkened slightly.

Lan Jiaojiao pushed Qin Yi towards the elevator. This villa had an elevator installed inside.

Although everyone was indignant, since it was the old man’s decision, they could only stew in their anger.

Qin Yi turned back and shouted to Lan Tianji, "Hey, don’t forget about our bet."

Lan Tianji kept a sullen face, not speaking.

Lan Jiaojiao curiously asked, "What bet?"

"Your Four-eyed Field Frog brother said if I cure the old man, he’ll give a billion."

Everyone was bewildered. When did Lan Tianji ever say that?

Lan Jiaojiao just rolled her eyes, "He’s called Tianji brother, and besides, I don’t believe it. Tianji brother doesn’t have a billion."

"No problem, the bet is on, and nobody can go back on their word in front of . If he dares not to pay, I’ll chop him up and stir-fry him like a field frog."

Lan Tianji’s expression darkened, his face turning ashen.

When they reached the second floor, Lan Jiaojiao pushed Qin Yi to the door of a room, opened it, and walked in.

The room was spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows, sunshine streaming onto the large bed, and the air filled with a strong dicinal scent.

Qin Yi looked at the elderly man lying on the hospital bed. His hair and beard were white. Hearing the movent, he turned his head to look over.

"Grandpa, Qin Yi is here," Lan Jiaojiao said softly.

Qin Yi looked at Lan Wangxu. This old man had a bit of an immortal aura but his face was overly pale, appearing very weak.

"Did Jiaojiao say you’re confident in curing ?" Lan Wangxu asked with a smile, his voice hoarse.

Qin Yi glanced at Lan Jiaojiao. When had he ever said he guaranteed a cure?

"I’ll do my best." Qin Yi wasn’t about to overpromise.

"Then I trouble you to give it a try?"

Qin Yi smiled; this old man was quite magnanimous.

"Miss Lan, please guard the door and don’t let anyone in."

Lan Jiaojiao hesitated for a mont and looked at the old man.

"Go ahead." Lan Wangxu smiled at Lan Jiaojiao.

"Qin Yi, I’m counting on you!" Lan Jiaojiao bowed deeply to Qin Yi and then went out, closing the door.

Qin Yi looked at the old man and smiled gently, "Now that it’s just the two of us, no need to hold back."

Lan Wangxu looked at Qin Yi in surprise but then grimaced, his whole body twitching, cold sweat breaking out on his forehead, as if having a seizure.

"Isn’t that a bit exaggerated?" Qin Yi asked in surprise.

Lan Wangxu trembled as he said, "The pain is unbearable."

"Then your tolerance is quite strong." Qin Yi said with so admiration. This old man had been enduring it before to avoid worrying others, but Qin Yi had noticed.

Qin Yi stepped forward, pressed his fingers to Lan Wangxu’s forehead, and a strong flow of Qi instantly spread, traveling along his ridians to every part of his body.

Suddenly, Qin Yi frowned slightly and softly murmured, "No wonder..."

"Qin Yi, my young friend, have you discovered sothing?" Lan Wangxu asked, trembling.

Qin Yi smiled, "A parasite."

Lan Wangxu looked at Qin Yi with so shock and then suddenly laughed, "My friend, your skills are impressive."

"You already knew?" Qin Yi asked, surprised.

Lan Wangxu nodded slightly.

"But I couldn’t remove it. This thing is on my heart, and although I know it exists, I can’t locate the exact spot on my heart where it is."

Qin Yi smiled, "Bear with , I’ll help you remove it."

"Can you really remove it?" Lan Wangxu’s face was full of disbelief.

Qin Yi smiled slightly, placing his palm on Lan Wangxu’s chest, but he suddenly asked, "Old man, if I save you, how do you plan to thank ?"

"..." Lan Wangxu was taken aback, staring at Qin Yi, montarily forgetting the pain.

Asking this now? This was as shaful as those unscrupulous doctors cutting people on the operating table and then asking the patients for more money.

But suddenly, Lan Wangxu let out a muffled groan, his face twisted, feeling as if a red-hot needle was being pulled out of his heart area.

"Done!" Qin Yi suddenly said.

Lan Wangxu, drenched in cold sweat, froze for a mont, then looked down to see a small hole the size of a pinky fingertip on his chest. Then he looked sharply at Qin Yi.

Between Qin Yi’s thumb and forefinger wriggled a small worm, blood red like a drop of blood, about the size of a fingernail.
