"W-Wait the girl! " I gasped while I was being pulled along

My vision was a bit blurry and everything seed to be blinking in and out of existence.

" The cops had arrived at the scene.. she will be fine".

Even when I strained my vision I couldn't see through her appearance as she was wearing a mask to cover her face and other than her purple hair I couldn't see anything.

" Why do this ? " After what felt like a long ti of silence I heard her voice again.

Maybe it was due to the pain or the loss of blood but I was a bit slow since I couldn't understand what she was implying.

But luckily she made things easier for with her next words.

"Why risk your life for strangers ?"

Why? Why is he doing this ?

That too for total strangers, first the fire now this.

He could have died both tis , but he still did it.

Is this selflessness or stupidity? …

I saw him shield that girl with his own body at the expense of his own safety.

I didn't believe in kindness since I have never experienced that my whole life.

Lord Nyoirin saw as a tool , a prized weapon he was proud to own as long as I was useful.

And Matsuo? He was no different.

He didn't care if my pride was wounded nor about the humiliation I had to endure.

My devotion and my love was taken for granted and I knew without a doubt that neither my Lord or Matsuo would go out of their way to save if I was ever in a position like this.

So I just assud that selflessness was a trait that was impossible to co across, not when a human's life is in jeopardy.

But as it turns out… I was wrong….

'Why?....Why did I ?' The thought passed through my mind as I didn't know why I was doing this.

I didn't think of myself as so kind ssiah, I despised the concept and the term Hero, because I believed that nothing good ca out of doing good and being selfless.

But my actions contradicted my word , as I had risked my life two tis for random strangers.

" I don't know…. I just did it…" I didn't have an answer to why I did what I did, I just simply did it.

"So you are just an idiot.."

" Yeah… maybe I am.." That was the best answer I could think of.

I had entered the sewers with him in hopes of losing the pursuers but I knew deep down that it was only a matter of ti before they caught up.

What I did was tantamount to Betrayal , and I risked my life to save this idiot, a random stranger whose na I didn't even know.

Why ? … Maybe I was an idiot too.

But I didn't feel as depressed or empty as before.

Maybe being an idiot wasn't that bad….

I could just drop him and run away.. increasing my chances of survival.

But do I want to ?

On more than one occasion I had thought about dropping him and going on my way , but the mory of this fool running into the fire, and then using his all to protect the random girl would flash before my eyes.

Hardening my resolve, the world lacks people like him , but it certainly doesn't lack soone like ….

'Hand' grunts… They caught up quicker than I expected.

They are close and in a few minutes might reach our location.

I couldn't help but pale at the realization of who I was facing.

"Kwanon… I can't say that I'm surprised...Madam Gao is very disappointed in you for breaking her trust , but no need to fret , after I bring you in you wouldn't be betraying anyone…anymore" Kirigi's apathetic voice resounded making be filled with dread as I knew clearly that I was outclassed.

But despite the dread I clenched my blade tightly as for the first ti in my life I was fighting to protect….

"Gah!" I gasped as I felt the air leaving my lungs as my back crashed against the nearby wall.

My vision blurred as every bone in my body ached , bitterness and despair surged through my whole being as I knew that the only reason I was alive was because the Hand wanted alive.

I tried to stand up as my whole body scread in protest but Kirigi's boot was the last thing I saw before my vision faded into darkness….

"Fucking useless! You can't even keep your employees in check!" Wilson Fisk also known as King Pin raged as he still couldn't stomach the loss of Bullseye who was a very capable employee as long as the money was rolling in and if there was sothing that King Pin had to spare then that was money.

"Boss , Madam Gao gave us this guy as compensation. Apparently he was able to leave Elektra heavily injured despite getting heavily injured in the process… " One of King Pin's subordinates motioned towards Adrian who they were hoisting up by the arms.

"What am I supposed to do with this half dead bastard ?..." King Pin gestured towards a bloodied Adrian while scowling as if he was one step away from crushing Adrian's head like a bug.

" What about one of our labs, Boss ? They were hoping for so sturdy test subjects right ? " King Pin beca a bit thoughtful at those words as it indeed was a good punishnt to the rat and at the sa ti allowed him to squeeze every last drop of value out of him…..

All kinds of sentints were expressed by the live chat as Adrian was strapped to a stretcher while being moved along.

He was injured heavily but they had decided to let him recuperate before operating on him , and from the scans and tests , he wasn't a mutant.

Just a slightly sturdier human, which was perfect for experintation as it ant he wouldn't break down easily.

The facility was a heavily secured lab , with guards patrolling in multiple different shifts to guarantee that no intruders slipped in.

But none of them seem to notice a small critter that was crawling along the ceiling camouflaged.

While Adrian was shipped off to be experinted on, Kwanon was sent to a secret base owned by the Hand where they conducted so of their sick rituals.

" I didn't wish for this to co to this but you have pushed into this my child…" Madam Gao shook her head as her voice echoed in the chamber with a tone reminiscent of a disappointed elder.

Kwanon just gazed at the floor while she knelt on the platform with her arms tied up.

She didn't bother saying anything as she could guess what was about to happen.

" Nyoirin was very unwilling , you are his most prized weapon after all.. " Madam Gao said slowly as her words sank into the atmosphere, making Kwanon slightly clench her hands.

The collar on her neck felt tighter than before as she imagined Lord Nyoirin's disappointnt.

Even if she knew she shouldn't feel that way , it was conditioned into her from a young age.

He took everything from her , but at the sa ti she couldn't see any hope of running away from him either.

Her innocence, her purity , her freedom , her will , none of it belonged to her.

From the start Kwanon Sai never had a will of her own.

And the worst part was , she was perfectly aware of this….

A cruel sense of sadistic pleasure passed through Madam Gao's eyes as she glanced at Kwanon , she wanted to see Kwanon broken.

Because the price of betrayal isn't cheap.

She had foreseen sothing bad happening thus had dispatched Kirigi and it had turned out to be a sound decision, since she was able to capture Kwanon…..

" Madam Gao patted Kwanon's head as she spoke like a kind grandmother as her tone contained concern but her words were like venomous blades piercing into Kwanon's heart and soul.

" Like just think about it , what kind of man would endure the humiliation of watching the woman he loved get fucked by another man and still claim to love her ? … Did you like being a whore for your Lord while having your lover watch ? .." Madam Gao chuckled as she asked Kwanon who for the first ti trembled while tears flowed down her eyes.

Madam Gao chuckled as she pinched Kwanon's by the chin and lifted her face as she gazed into her empty eyes that seed like they had given up on life.

" Did you really believe Matsuo genuinely loved you ? Did you think he was satisfied with having sothing as worthless as your heart while your body belonged to your Lord and he had to accept the humiliation of knowing that the body of his woman , one he cannot even touch, was being ravaged by soone else? In the end you know deep down that he never loved you… all he wanted was the influence he could gain through you and he surely benefited a lot from that… you really are a pitiful woman my dear… I almost feel sorry for you.." Madam Gao gently wiped Kwanon's tears while caressing her cheeks like she was consoling her.

There are 3 Psylocke's in Marvel.

Kwanon - Asian Psylocke, assassin , ninja , works with hand.

Betsy Braddock - captain britain , connection with British govt or sothing, mber of Xn, British Psylocke.

Sai - From Demon days comics , alternate reality, yokai hunter , marvel Rivals version, no connection to any Xn.

So currently Kwanon is in her 'Revange' arc , basically she has body swapped with Betsy Braddock.

So the purple hair isn't her's it's Betsy's.

So basically Kwanon feels more guilty due to Betsy's mories because she understands the significance of Adrian's selflessness.

Because Betsy has the values of a hero or at least a good person , which makes Kwanon better understand these acts of kindness.

Kwanon is a slightly grey character, she was never bad , just loyal , because she never had a life outside of being a tool.
