Yuan Chenfeng didn’t dare to confront head-on, so he rushed forward with all his might.

If he could rush into the crowd before Zhao Ya and take a few hostages, he might have a chance to survive.

But as fast as he was, Zhao Ya was even faster.

He had just taken a few steps when Zhao Ya was already upon him, raising a fist to strike.

With no other choice, Yuan Chenfeng had to raise his palm to block.

Bang.

A loud bang echoed, and the whole teahouse seed to tremble.

Yuan Chenfeng let out a stuffy groan, and the hand that t Zhao Ya’s fist fell limply, clearly suffering a severe injury.

But this was just the beginning. Before Yuan Chenfeng could catch his breath, Zhao Ya’s second punch ca crashing in.

In a hurry, Yuan Chenfeng could only muster his other hand to block.

Another loud bang followed.

This ti, not only was Yuan Chenfeng’s hand broken, but his whole body was jolted back several steps, spewing a mouthful of fresh blood.

Zhao Ya remained unmoved, slowly raising his hand, preparing to deliver a third punch.

Seeing this, fear appeared on Yuan Chenfeng’s face, and he cried out hoarsely.

"Do you really intend to eliminate completely?"

"Correct."

Zhao Ya responded coldly with three words, then his punch flew out like a startled dragon.

Boom.

Yuan Chenfeng couldn’t dodge and took the punch squarely in the chest.

A series of dense cracking noises like firecrackers sounded.

Yuan Chenfeng was blasted straight out, and in mid-air, he spat out a mouthful of blood mixed with fragnts of internal organs.

When he landed, his chest was completely caved in, revealing a faint view of his back spine.

Even so, as a Martial Artist in the Half-Step Fifth Realm, Yuan Chenfeng’s life force was tenacious, and he didn’t die imdiately, staring venomously at Zhao Ya.

"Cough cough... Commander Wei will kill all of you, I’ll be waiting for you below."

"Wait and see. It won’t be long before I send Wei Hongbin down to keep you company," Zhao Ya said calmly.

At this mont, Yuan Chenfeng’s face was already turning blue and purple.

He opened his mouth wide, trying to breathe his last breath of fresh air.

But with his lungs shattered by Zhao Ya’s punch, he couldn’t breathe at all.

So, like a fish out of water, he died painfully and suffocatingly.

After confirming that he was utterly dead, Zhao Ya turned to look at Lin Shiguo.

Making eye contact, Lin Shiguo shivered uncontrollably, then stamred, "It...it was all done by Chen Feng, not ."

Lin Shiguo was truly frightened out of his wits.

Though he was of high birth, his own strength was quite average, only barely breaking into the Third Realm even now.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been sent to this remote place by his family to serve as a Deputy General.

So, seeing Yuan Chenfeng of the Half-Step Fifth Realm being slaughtered like a chicken by Zhao Ya, it’s understandable how terrified he was.

As for his guards, they wished they could bury their heads in their pants, fearing Zhao Ya might notice them.

Zhao Ya, however, ignored Lin Shiguo and walked towards Old Man Zhai, who was lying on the ground.

You have to admit, this Old Man Zhai’s body is indeed tough.

A young man taking a whip like that, then being pumled by a group of ruffians, would likely struggle to hold on.

Yet Old Man Zhai remained quite spirited.

"Old man, how are you?" Zhao Ya bent down and asked.

"Don’t worry, I won’t die just yet," Old Man Zhai mumbled.

Zhao Ya nodded, "Then stay alive and see how we drive this scum out of the Commandery."

"Good!" Old Man Zhai was invigorated, "Young Hero Zhao, with your words, I am relieved."

Zhao Ya glanced at Sun Yingkui.

"How’s the arm?"

Sun Yingkui was silent for a mont, then shook his head, "It’s nothing serious."

Zhao Ya said no more to him.

Indeed, this Sun Yingkui is a good man, or he wouldn’t have stepped in to protect Old Man Zhai and his son.

But he’s too weak and always clinging to unrealistic fantasies.

Yet he doesn’t understand that when Wei Hongbin took the chance to enter the city, the conflict between the two sides beca irreparable.

While Zhao Ya was speaking, Lin Shiguo had quietly crept to the stairway, ready to escape downstairs.

Just then, he saw a blur, and Zhao Ya appeared in front of him.

"Lord Lin, where are you planning to go?"

Lin Shiguo froze, then forced a smile worse than crying.

"I...I suddenly rembered sothing, so I’m going to take a look at the fairy eting."

Because his teeth had been knocked out by Zhao Ya, when Lin Shiguo spoke, his voice was slurred, making him sound painfully awkward.

"What could be so urgent that you didn’t even say goodbye?" Zhao Ya smiled.

But his smile was terrifying to Lin Shiguo.

He stepped back, trying to calm himself, "This is none of your business, and I’m from the Capital City Lin Family. You better think twice before you act."

Because it concerned his life, Lin Shiguo spoke more clearly.

Unexpectedly, Zhao Ya didn’t even blink at his words.

"Do you know what I hate most about you all?"

"It’s not your insatiable greed, nor your bullying, but your delusion of superiority due to your family status, looking down on everyone else from above."

"You are like this, and Wei Hongbin is the sa. So today, I’m going to show you that in my eyes, your so-called illustrious family ans nothing."

Hearing Zhao Ya’s words, Lin Shiguo turned pale, realizing things had gone bad, and desperately tried to escape.
