The Beast Trap that injured him was purchased by Su Que at a great expense, made of iron rather than wood, extrely hard and sharp.
After Old Liu was caught, blood gushed from his wound like a fountain, and the Golden Wound dicine he had just applied was soon washed away by the blood.
Thus, he could only tear a piece of clothing, tightly bind his own thigh, slow the flow of blood, and then reapply the Golden Wound dicine.

Old Gao agreed heartily, and they went towards another direction, reaching another patch of woods.

Old Gao chuckled wickedly, "Tonight, I plan to buy so potions at Huichun Hall in Jade Water City, then head to Spring Pavilion in Black Water City, and call five girls over."
As Jade Water City is already under their White Lotus Sect control, most brothels are managed by their sect.
If they spend lavishly, they would likely be discovered quickly, leading to questioning of the source of their Silver Coins.
Black Water City lies west of Jade Water City, slightly less prosperous and currently not under the White Lotus Sect’s intentions for control.
After hearing this, Old Liu laughed heartily, "Old Gao, you’re pathetic, I don’t need potions, I’ll head straight to Spring Pavilion in Black Water City and call ten girls!"

Old Liu said, "This scholar is unlucky, coming by at the worst ti, he saw what we were doing, although he doesn’t know what we’re doing, the fear is that he’ll spread this news!"
"If it reaches the ears of other White Lotus Sect mbers, we’re finished!"
