The tall and burly gray-robed monk was rely a Bhikkhu of Spirit Mountain.

There were more than thirty Bhikkhus gathered here.

They had co here with the Hundred-legged Bodhisattva, and under his orders were in all directions inquiring after news of Su Que.

Yet unexpectedly, while this gray-robed monk was asking around in the Market, he ran into a Cultivator who was probing for information about the Demon Buddha Puxun Lineage.

The Demon Buddha Puxun Lineage, just like Su Que, was an enemy of Spirit Mountain.

Although the main goal of this group of monks was to search for Su Que, if they happened to run into monks of the Demon Buddha Puxun Lineage and their fanatical believers, they could conveniently go and kill the enemy as well.

After Zhang Tongtian’s whole body was slamd to the ground, that transparent crimson Centipede Dharma Aspect still tightly coiled around him.

No matter how Zhang Tongtian struggled, he simply could not break free.

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva was still in the distance when he cast Telepathy.

Waves of Spirit surged through the air like the sea, and then poured into the space between Zhang Tongtian’s brows.

In an instant, the Hundred-legged Bodhisattva obtained Zhang Tongtian’s mories.

"It’s that Ascender."

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva spoke.

After that, the newly appointed Subduing Dragon Arhat and Subduing Tiger Arhat also used Telepathy on Zhang Tongtian and obtained his mories as well.

From Zhang Tongtian’s mories, they inferred that the one who had ordered Zhang Tongtian to seek information about the Demon Buddha Puxun Lineage had a seventy percent chance of being the Ascender they were pursuing.

"I wonder what this Ascender wants with the Demon Buddha Puxun Lineage?"

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva’s expression was solemn as he spoke to the Subduing Dragon Arhat and Subduing Tiger Arhat standing beside him.

"Could it be that this Ascender is in fact the reincarnation of a monk from the Demon Buddha Lineage?"

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva speculated.

Reincarnation in the Upper Realm was not uncommon, and reincarnation within the Buddhist Sect was even more so.

The Demon Buddha Lineage also originated from the Buddhist Sect; monks reincarnating to Cultivate anew was entirely normal.

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva glanced at the bound Zhang Tongtian and said, "This man’s talent is not bad. Take him along. Once we catch that Ascender, we’ll ferry these two to Spirit Mountain together."

With that, golden light rose beneath him, and he flew toward the direction of the cave where Su Que was.

The two Arhats and the thirty-so Bhikkhus then took Zhang Tongtian with them and followed closely after.

...

Su Que was seated cross-legged in a cave, Cultivating the Circulation of the Six Void Skill.

This cave was not the one he had agreed upon with those Cultivators he’d sent out.

It was another cave directly across from that one.

After sending out those thirty-odd Cultivators, he’d considered that they might turn against him.

Thus, instead of remaining in the original cave to Cultivate, he moved to another cave not far from it.

While Cultivating, he used his Spirit to scout the surroundings of the cave opposite.

In the midst of Cultivation, he suddenly sensed a large cluster of not-weak auras approaching his side.

From those auras he could tell there were about thirty people, and they were all deliberately using special Dharma Gates to conceal their presence.

Because his Spiritual Power was now already above the rging Realm and incomparably strong, he could still detect these auras.

Moreover, within these auras he slled a dense "Buddha" flavor.

’So the people of the Demon Buddha Puxun Lineage were not found, but instead I’ve attracted the people of Spirit Mountain. I wonder who they are?’

Su Que pondered, planning to go out later and drain these people’s Essence Qi and Spirit, so that his Dao Heart Demon Planting Technique could rise to yet another level.

...

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva and the others, following Zhang Tongtian’s mories, were about to reach the cave where Su Que and Zhang Tongtian’s group had agreed to et.

Because they had Zhang Tongtian’s mories, they were ntally predisposed to believe that Su Que was Cultivating in that cave.

So, as they were about to arrive, they all released their Spirit toward that cave.

And then they discovered that the cave seed to be empty.

’Could this person be skilled at Concealnt of his own presence?’

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva thought.

After all, so Cultivators were indeed well-versed in Secret Techniques for Concealing their aura and existence.

This was especially true in the Unclaid Land, where such Loose Cultivators were most nurous.

Because they had no backing force, they had to be exceedingly cautious, relentlessly tempering such Dharma Gates.

To expose one’s aura was to expose one’s Cultivation.

If one concealed one’s aura, then for a ti the enemy would be unable to gauge one’s Cultivation, thus allowing one, when clashing with the enemy, to grant them an "unexpected surprise."

The Hundred-legged Bodhisattva once more used his Spirit to probe into that cave, yet still discovered nothing.

As he continued scanning everything around him with his Spirit, he said to the Subduing Dragon Arhat, the Subduing Tiger Arhat, and the Bhikkhus, "We’ll enter the cave and take a look."

Su Que, anwhile, was employing the Dao Heart Demon Planting Technique, using the Power of Demon Seed to retract all his Essence Qi and Spirit.

Then he spread his Spirit around his body.

Now that the Hundred-legged Bodhisattva was only at the Seventeenth-Layer of the Realm of rging, his Spiritual Power was inferior to Su Que’s and could not detect Su Que’s existence.

After probing the surroundings and finding no other Cultivators, the Hundred-legged Bodhisattva entered the cave that had originally belonged to Su Que together with the Arhats and Bhikkhus.

The two great Arhats, Subduing Dragon and Subduing Tiger, and the thirty-so Bhikkhus followed the Hundred-legged Bodhisattva in single file.

Once all the Spirit Mountain Monks had entered the cave—

Su Que’s figure moved, and he swept toward those Spirit Mountain Monks.

At this mont, all these Spirit Mountain Cultivators were gathered together in the cramped space of the cave.

He only needed to throw a single Fist, and his Fist Force could strike every one of the Spirit Mountain Cultivators.

Su Que swept through the air, and before the Spirit Mountain Cultivators’ sense of danger could react, he suddenly invoked the "Ti Pause" of the Dark Evil Fist Seventh Heaven.

His clenched fists instantly manifested two vortexes like black holes.

A layer of gray, like sea waves, rippled out across this entire area.
