"Fellow Daoist Zhuang, is there anything I should be particularly aware of when going to the Qiantian Secret Realm?"
As if she knew Song Changsheng would co looking for her, Zhuang Yuechan was waiting nearby and hadn’t gone far.
Upon hearing his question, she said, "The Qiantian Secret Realm was discovered and developed by Luoxia City one thousand two hundred years ago. Although we call it a Secret Realm, it’s actually a Small World.
"Due to its incomplete Laws, the Secret Realm cannot withstand the power of Purple Mansion Stage Cultivators, or it risks collapsing. Most who enter are Foundation Establishnt Cultivators and Qi Cultivators.
"Its Laws are quite peculiar, having given birth to a large number of Demon Beasts that reproduce at an incredible rate. To maintain their population at a sustainable level, we open the Secret Realm once every five years.
"Besides culling the Demon Beasts, we also go in to collect the Heavenly and Earthly Treasures that grow there. The combat is unimaginably intense. It’s precisely because it hones our practical combat skills that Luoxia City has been able to maintain the upper hand during Beast Tides.
"Therefore, I suggest you prepare plenty of Talismans and Pills for restoring Spiritual Power. We’ll be inside for at least half a month."
’So it’s a Small World.’
’Worlds are also divided into tiers. The Purple Imperial Realm, where I currently am, is a Great World, also known as a Great Thousand World.’
’Great Thousand Worlds have complete Powers of Law and balanced developnt, making them the most suitable worlds for living beings to exist.’
’Above the Great Worlds lies the legendary Immortal Realm. It is a supre world of unknown age and boundless expanse. According to the legends of the Human Race, the Immortal Realm was once the only world, and it gave birth to the Ten Thousand Races.’
’Later, a prolonged, world-shaking war erupted between the ’Immortals’ and ’Demons,’ causing a part of the Immortal Realm to be shattered and scattered into the Endless Void.’
’These fragnts orbited the Immortal Realm and, after countless years of evolution, eventually re-ford into independent worlds. The larger fragnts with more complete Powers of Law beca the Great Worlds.’
’The Great Thousand Worlds are dependent on the Immortal Realm. Thus, whenever a being’s Cultivation surpasses the world’s capacity, they are repelled by the Power of Law and enter the Immortal Realm. The Human Race calls this ’Ascension’.’
’The smaller fragnts with incomplete Powers of Law are the Small Worlds, also known as Small Thousand Worlds. Of course, not all Small Worlds evolved from fragnts of the Immortal Realm; they can be ford for many other reasons.’
’Most Small Thousand Worlds have harsh environnts, but they can at least give rise to life and so intelligent creatures, like the Demon Beasts in the Qiantian Secret Realm. In human terms, they are called ’natives’.’
’Of course, not all Small Worlds have such hostile environnts. A small number with more complete Laws, after being modified by a Great Power, are no worse than the Great Thousand Worlds. Many Sects establish their headquarters within such Small Worlds.’
’Below the Small Thousand Worlds, there are also Little Profound Realms, like the Ling Province Wutong Secret Realm. Little Profound Realms can barely give birth to intelligent life, and their Laws are extrely chaotic. The reasons for their formation are so nurous that one could not list them all in a day and a night.’
’These worlds of varying tiers are strewn across the Endless Void like stars. Lower-tiered worlds must depend on higher-tiered ones, or they are dood to wander the Endless Void and eventually beco dead lands.’
’The passages connecting two worlds are called Space Tunnels. These Space Tunnels are extrely fragile. If any power exceeding the limits of the Small World’s Laws enters, there is a risk of collapse.’
’Once a Space Tunnel collapses, the Small World loses its connection to the Great World it depends on. If it cannot be reconnected in ti, it will drift through the void. With luck, a new tunnel might be established, but this is completely random. That is why space passages occasionally pop up in various places throughout the world.’
’There have even been a number of ’appalling’ incidents where Small Thousand Worlds invaded Great Thousand Worlds. Of course, those invaders usually ended up as dead as can be.’
’But I digress. The Qiantian Secret Realm is a Small Thousand World with relatively complete Powers of Law. Furthermore, its ’Law of Life’ must be particularly prominent, which would explain why the Demon Beasts reproduce so quickly.’
’The Spirit dicines and Heavenly and Earthly Treasures born within it generally don’t exceed Tier Three, also due to the limitations of its Laws.’
’So, I’m a little curious. A Secret Realm like this might be extrely valuable to a Foundation Establishnt or Purple Mansion Influence, but it should be insignificant to major powers like the Golden Crow Sect and the Celestial Vein Sect. Why would both Sects want to send people in?’
’I would never believe they don’t have so ulterior motive.’
"Fellow Daoist Zhuang, isn’t the Qiantian Secret Realm normally closed to outsiders? Why make an exception this ti?"
"This ti, the situation is a bit special. Starting last year, strange disturbances have been frequently detected from the depths of the Secret Realm. My Master speculates that so kind of treasure has likely been born within."
"The people from the two Sects must have discovered sothing, as they also want to enter. A Golden Core Master personally made the request, and my Master found it difficult to refuse, so he had to give each of them one spot."
At this, Zhuang Yuechan suddenly turned back to look at Song Changsheng and smiled. "Fellow Daoist Song, worldly treasures belong to the fated. Since the decision was made to let you all in, any gains you make inside will naturally belong to you personally.
"They are definitely aiming for the treasure that has ford in the Secret Realm. If you’re interested, Fellow Daoist Song, you can also try to compete for it."
"If I get the chance, I certainly won’t pass it up." Song Changsheng naturally understood the aning behind her words.
