Song Changsheng stood hovering in the air, an uncanny light flickering in his eyes. Empowered by his Eye of Truth, his gaze pierced through the dense woods. He saw countless clusters of light rapidly converging on a single point—a rough estimate placed their numbers in the thousands.
Growing up, "Beast Tide" was a term he had heard countless tis, but Song Changsheng had never witnessed one firsthand. It seed he was about to get his wish.

Not long after Luoxia City’s Array was in place, the ground began to tremble. Pebbles danced in the air, and thick, sturdy trees toppled over in entire swathes.
A dense tide of Demon Beasts coalesced into a raging flood, surging toward the cultivators with an overwhelming aura of Demon Qi. Anything that stood in their way was torn to pieces.

The light barrier remained unshaken. Instead, it was the savage bull’s ten-foot-long horn that snapped on impact. Its massive body collapsed with a thud, scarlet blood seeping from the broken stump.
But before it could even struggle back to its feet, the iron hooves of the Demon Beast horde behind it trampled its body without rcy. Amidst a series of mournful cries, it was quickly reduced to a pile of mangled flesh.
Countless Demon Beasts surged forward like a tidal wave, only to smash themselves bloody against the barrier. The first wave of the assault was the most ferocious, but fortunately, the Array was sturdy enough to hold and was not breached.
At this point, Yinn Shang, Niu Dazhuang, and the other leaders directed everyone to begin their counterattack, using the Array for cover. Due to the sheer number of Demon Beasts, they consud a vast quantity of Low-Level Talismans.
It was only then that Song Changsheng understood. ’So that’s why the City Lord’s Mansion was buying up so many war supplies in the East Market. It wasn’t for the Demon Beasts of the Hundred Thousand Mountains, but for this culling operation in the Qiantian Secret Realm.’
