Longevity Martial Arts: Grinding Experience in the Chaotic World Chapter 602 - 325: Butterfly Shadow Racing Car
Gu Sheng furrowed his brows and shook his head, "But I still have sothing important to do right now, and I can’t afford to waste too much ti."
Gu Sheng told Yu Die about his quest to find the Water Spirit Pearl. After hearing this, Yu Die remained silent for a mont before saying, "Benevolent one, I understand your difficulties. If you don’t mind, I can join you in searching for the Water Spirit Pearl. I’m quite familiar with this desert and might be able to offer so help."
Looking into Yu Die’s resolute eyes, Gu Sheng couldn’t help but feel a little moved.
He nodded and said, "Alright, let’s set off together then."
The sky above the Ling Sha Vast Desert was as blue as a freshly washed canvas. Sunlight poured through the thin clouds, illuminating the golden sands and making the desert even more dazzling. Gu Sheng and Yu Die stood at the starting point for the caravan, preparing to embark on their journey to find the Water Spirit Pearl.
"Is this the Butterfly Shadow Vehicle?" Gu Sheng examined the peculiar vehicle before him, which was powered by mystical butterflies from the Sea Floor Realm, and couldn’t help but marvel.
"Yes, this is the flying vehicle unique to our Yu Clan," Yu Die explained with a smile. "It can race across the desert at an incredible speed and remains remarkably stable."
The two of them boarded the Butterfly Shadow Vehicle. As the wings of the mystical butterfly gently flapped, the vehicle ascended slowly before accelerating suddenly, dashing toward the northwest. The wind howled past their ears as the desert scenery blurred in a whirlwind around them.
The interior of the vehicle was spacious and comfortable. Gu Sheng and Yu Die sat side by side, separated by a small table between them. Yu Die brewed a pot of tea, the fragrant aroma filling the air and adding a refined touch to their journey.
"Do you have a younger sister?" Gu Sheng suddenly thought of the young girl with the Thunder God Staff, Lei Ying, and broke the silence inside the vehicle.
Yu Die was montarily stunned, then shook her head and said, "No, I’m the only child in my family." She looked at Gu Sheng, a glimr of hope flashing in her eyes. "Why do you ask?"
Gu Sheng recounted his encounter with Lei Ying. Yu Die listened intently, her face showing a contemplative expression.
"The young girl you ntioned, who uses the Thunder God Staff—could she be my aunt’s daughter?" Yu Die suddenly asked.
"Your aunt’s daughter?" Gu Sheng was a bit puzzled.
"Yes, my aunt was kidnapped by pirates many years ago and has been missing ever since," Yu Die sighed. "If Lei Ying really is my aunt’s daughter, then she is family to the Yu Clan."
Gu Sheng felt a tug at his heart. If Lei Ying truly was connected to the Yu Clan, their bond seed almost fated. He looked at Yu Die and noticed the firm determination in her eyes, clearly harboring great hope for finding her aunt and cousin.
"If I return to the Yu Clan, I must inform my father about this and have him send people to Ice and Fire Island to search for my aunt," Yu Die said.
Gu Sheng nodded in agreent. Their gazes t at that mont, as if a silent understanding had ford between them.
That day, they arrived at a mysterious oasis. Within the oasis stood an ancient temple, its entrance carved with ancient runes exuding an air of mystery.
"Is this the legendary location of the Water Spirit Pearl?" Yu Die asked curiously.
"It should be," Gu Sheng nodded. Based on the Water Spirit Pearl map, this should be the location of the sixth pearl. "We must be cautious; there may be traps here."
The two carefully entered the temple, discovering that its interior was complexly arranged, with ancient runes and chanisms everywhere. They ticulously observed every detail, wary of triggering anything unexpectedly.
"Swish!"
Suddenly, a beam of light descended from above, illuminating the center of the temple. Following the beam, Gu Sheng and Yu Die saw a crystalline Water Spirit Pearl quietly lying within the light.
"Amazing! We finally found the Water Spirit Pearl!" Yu Die exclaid excitedly.
Gu Sheng reached out to take the Water Spirit Pearl, but an invisible force blocked his hand.
"What’s going on?" Gu Sheng asked in confusion.
"It seems this Water Spirit Pearl isn’t so easily obtained," Yu Die pondered for a mont before saying, "Perhaps we need to decipher these ancient runes to claim it."
The two began carefully studying the runes in the temple, tirelessly working to unravel their secrets. After so effort, they finally succeeded in deciphering the runes’ mysteries.
Gu Sheng gently extended a hand to touch the runes, and in an instant, a trendous power surged into his body. He felt as if he had beco one with the world, a sensation of unparalleled comfort and ease.
At the sa ti, Yu Die also sensed the presence of this power. She gazed at Gu Sheng’s figure, her eyes filled with admiration and a faint trace of affection.
When the glow of the final rune faded, the Water Spirit Pearl in Gu Sheng’s hand shimred with a pale blue light, as if containing boundless Water Elent power. He carefully stored the pearl and exited the mysterious temple with Yu Die.
"We finally got the Water Spirit Pearl!" Yu Die said with a mix of relief and excitent, her eyes shining with joy.
Gu Sheng smiled faintly and said, "Yes, this has truly been a rewarding journey."
By then, the sun had already set, and the twilight bathed the oasis in a serene and beautiful glow. The two decided to camp by the oasis and enjoy a rare mont of tranquility.
At the oasis, they managed to catch a sturdy cal and a peculiar golden-armored lizard. Gu Sheng skillfully handled the ingredients, while Yu Die focused on starting a fire. Before long, the bonfire blazed, illuminating everything around them.
"Have you ever roasted a golden-armored lizard before?" Gu Sheng asked curiously.
