Recently, during Dan's continuous and strenuous attempts to find a way to invent a strong and effective barrier technique to protect his base and family from any potential external threats, a new and innovative idea occurred to him that might be the solution he has been searching for all this ti. This idea was to use the Web technique, which he already masters perfectly, and try to rge it with the barrier seals he is working on developing. The more he thought about this idea, the more he realized it might solve many of the basic problems hindering his progress in this field.
First, the barrier by its nature will need a constant flow of chakra to function and continue protecting. This was a big problem because Dan currently has no other way to make the barrier work independently without a chakra source. Also, he did not have other people strong enough who could maintain the barrier by providing it with chakra constantly; his wives, although they started training, are still in the initial stages and their chakra reserves are very limited, and his children are still small infants. Therefore, the only realistic solution before him is to be the barrier's battery himself—the permanent source of energy that feeds it and keeps it active.
But the second problem is that Dan cannot actually activate the barrier all the ti and permanently, because that would drain a massive amount of his chakra even with his huge reservoir, and would hinder his daily training and normal life. So the smart idea was to rge the barrier with the Web technique he was already using for sensing. This way, he can keep the Web active all the ti, consuming a small amount of chakra because it is just a very thin network of energy covering a wide area. When the Web senses anything dangerous, suspicious, or requiring an alert, the barrier will automatically activate and beco solid and strong to repel the threat.
Of course, Dan fully realizes that this system was not the perfect barrier he dread of initially—a strong barrier that works independently all the ti without any intervention from him, possessing properties like invisibility and even illusions—but it remains much better than nothing. It provided a very important additional layer of protection for his family and area. Also, he strongly intends to develop it more and more in the future when he gains more knowledge and experience in seals. Dan still has a very long life ahead of him thanks to the improved Vitality Seal he applied recently—at least three hundred years—and this was more than enough ti to develop and improve any technique he wants.
At the sa ti, Dan realized that this new system would have an unexpected additional benefit: he will be in a state of continuous training on the Web technique all the ti because he will activate it permanently and continuously without stopping. This continuous training will improve his mastery of the technique and make it stronger, more sensitive, and wider in range over ti. Of course, due to the size of his massive chakra reservoir thanks to years of training and the improved seal, the matter was not very difficult practically.
But what needs work and intensive training is the ability to activate the Web even while he is asleep, so that it remains active and monitoring the surroundings even in a state of deep sleep. This will require so ti and focused training from him to teach his body and chakra to maintain the Web unconsciously and automatically, like breathing or a heartbeat—sothing that happens without conscious thought. Dan is confident that with continuous practice he will be able to achieve that, especially since he has an idea of how he will do it. So currently, after finally finding the clear and possible path to move forward in the barrier project, Dan began trying to study seals very intensively and more focused than ever before, in order to master this complex technique that rges the Web and the barrier into one integrated system. He was dedicating a large part of the research and study tis he performs every day in his private lab for this purpose: experinting, thinking, drawing complex diagrams, trying different formations of seals, analyzing results, and constantly adjusting and improving.
As for the second important matter occupying Dan's attention recently, it related to the training of his wives. He noticed that the girls who began returning to physical training after the pregnancy and birth period were making good progress in physical fitness, strength, and speed. But Dan knows that physical training alone was not enough to make them true fighters or even capable of protecting themselves effectively in this dangerous world full of ninjas and monsters.
Therefore, Dan decided to set a new intensive training program for them focusing specifically on raising the level of their chakra control. Chakra control is the true basis for any power in this world, at least for him and what he has experienced so far. Without mastering it, they won't be able to use any effective techniques or take full advantage of their physical strength. He had certain plans he set for them in his mind—long-term plans to develop their abilities and make them more useful and capable of contributing to protecting themselves and their children.
Dan began by teaching them basic chakra control exercises, such as the tree-climbing exercise using chakra that he himself had gone through many years ago, walking on water, and other exercises requiring precise control of chakra flow and amount, such as using chakra to form various small shapes with their hands—of course, only energetic shapes without solidity. Dan was monitoring them very carefully, correcting their small mistakes, and explaining the basic principles to them.
The girls were very excited about this new training; they had seen Dan's superhuman strength and knew that all of it cos from excellent chakra control and continuous training as he told them. They wanted to beco stronger, not only to protect themselves but also to protect their children and to make Dan proud of them. Rin, as usual, is the most serious and the fastest to progress; she managed to master tree-climbing within only two days, while the others were progressing at a slower but steady pace.
Dan is satisfied with their progress, and he knows that with ti and continuous training, they will beco strong enough—at least by what he sees as enough, for his standards are very high. Even Dan himself still sees his level as low because he knows that in this world there are beings whose power is on a cosmic level, devouring planets. So unless he reaches a level of power capable of splitting planets and swallowing suns and stars, Dan mostly won't be parted by his feeling of weakness and helplessness.
In the evening, after a long day of training and research, Dan sat in his lab looking at the complex diagrams he drew for the integrated barrier with the Web, and felt optimistic and excited. He was closer than ever to achieving this goal. He knows that once he succeeds in applying this system, his family will be much safer, and he will be able to focus more on his training and developing his own power without constant worry. Although practically it won't change much even with this barrier, he at least considered it a cornerstone for building the future perfect barrier he thinks of.
Dan looked carefully and then closed his leather scroll. Tomorrow the work will continue, the training will continue, and the research and developnt will continue.

Regarding Dan, his way of thinking is different and unconventional compared to the Naruto world. The reason is that when he transitioned, he was old and mature, so he sees things from different angles.
