This is a fundantal law of physics: when gases are compressed with such imnse force, their temperature rises automatically. During his early years of experinting with this complex art, this thermal property caused nurous disasters. The combination of extre heat and highly concentrated oxygen in a small space created a literal explosive mixture, resulting in instantaneous infernos and violent, blinding fireballs.
