Feeling the depth of his descent, the thought couldn’t help but arise in Wang Ba’s mind.

A Golden Lotus Spirit Beast, clearly larger in size, shot through from the depths of the lava where he hadn’t noticed.

Without delay, he quickly followed.

Originally a slightly winding path, it was now a vast underground lava cavern.
This underground cavern was ablaze with firelight, connecting in every direction, as if leading to more distant mysteries.
Lava surged and rolled, with more than a dozen golden lotuses conspicuously visible in the magma!
“There’s even a Class IV!”
Wang Ba’s eyes lit up.
In the depths of the lava, a Golden Lotus, clearly dozens of tis larger than the ones around it, as large as a body of water, supported itself on two legs, absorbing the incredibly dense fire Qi around it.

In the next mont, the golden-red flas fell back into the lava.
And those dozen or so Golden Lotus Spirit Beasts had already vanished without a trace.
Wang Ba gently stroked the Spirit Beast Bag at his waist, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction.
Ultimately, his years in the Beast Control path had left a significant mark on him, and compared to other pursuits, acquiring such a Spirit Beast brought him more joy.
Just then, a sowhat familiar voice suddenly ca from deep within the molten cavern:
“Who goes there?!”
Before the words had faded, a mass of earth-yellow cot shot forth from the distant molten cave!
Wang Ba imdiately reacted, the Yellow Dao Domain instantly coalescing, halting the earth-yellow cot effortlessly in its tracks, and he spoke in a deep voice:
“Elder Ji Ying! It’s !”
From the end of the molten cave, Elder Ji Ying’s sowhat surprised voice quickly echoed back:
“Deputy Sect Master?”
The mont the words left, an earth-yellow figure tread upon the fiery waves and ca forward, his face showing surprise upon seeing Wang Ba.
And soon, several more figures hurriedly followed, each expressing great surprise upon seeing Wang Ba:
“Why is the Deputy Sect Master here?”
Wang Ba did not conceal anything:
“I spotted so interesting Spirit Beasts and tracked them all the way here. What brings you all here?”
Ji Ying gave a slight bow to Wang Ba, with a slightly embarrassed expression:
“Just now, I thought we finally found the Cultivators here, which made a bit hasty.”
Upon hearing this, Wang Ba’s expression shifted slightly:
“Have you discovered sothing?”

Wang Ba’s expression tightened.
Several thoughts flashed through his mind at once.
The presence of relics indicated that Cultivators once existed here.
But if there were Cultivators once, why has it beco so wild and barren, with almost no traces of Cultivators left now?
