Capítulo 2498: Chapter 235: The Grand Vow (Part 3)
I felt utterly surprised.
A thought stirred in his heart as he stepped forward to the bookshelf, looking at the few books on it.
He looked at the first book, but before he could clearly see the words on the cover, a sense of his body being torn apart surged upon re contact with his gaze.
His heart skipped a beat, and he quickly averted his eyes, not daring to look any further.
Inwardly, he was secretly shaken:
“What kind of book is this? Just one glance gave a feeling of my True Spirit scattering!”
Upon looking down, he noticed that his body was becoming blurry and translucent.
He quickly consud an Elixir, which barely stabilized his form.
After a mont of hesitation, he turned towards another book.
This ti he was prepared; just as he began to feel discomfort, he imdiately turned his gaze away.
Not daring to look again, he took another Elixir and waited a mont before looking at the next one.
It was the sa with a series of books; though they didn’t shake his True Spirit again, a slight disappointnt lingered in his heart.
“Could I have guessed wrong?”
Unwilling to give up, he finally looked at the last book.
This ti, the previous sensation did not occur again.
Although the book seed dazzling, he managed to endure it with so effort.
On its cover were four characters; he could not read them, but he understood their aning.
“Records of the Realm Sea.”
Wang Ba read out the four characters.
He then reached out cautiously to grasp the book.
To his surprise, there were no prohibitions on the book.
Taking it off the shelf, it appeared thin but felt as heavy as a mountain in his hands!
Wang Ba felt as if his body could scarcely bear it.
He quickly consud another Elixir.
Seizing the mont, he carefully opened the book.
In the next mont, infinite anings flooded into his mind!
It was as if an entire world unfolded before him; so areas were shrouded in dense mist, others were half-concealed, while so were exhaustively detailed…
After a while, he suddenly closed the book, his body flickering like a candle fla, his heart overwheld:
“This is a secret travelogue about the Second Realm Sea…”
Though called a travelogue, it encompassed everything, nearly covering the entire Second Realm Sea.
It was vast beyond asure, impossible to see it all.
Much of the content exceeded the limits his True Spirit could endure, making it impossible to fathom.
Yet, even just a portion of it opened his eyes.
Hints of the power structure within the Second Realm Sea erged from the travelogue…
The Immortal Sect Twelve Palaces, representing the twelve Taoist forces such as Zi, Chou, Yin, and Mao.
The ‘Chen Palace’ where Immortal Monarch Lu He resided was one of these Twelve Palaces.
Beyond the Taoist forces were entities like the Demon Dao, Ghost Path, Demon Path, and Buddhism, containing many strange individuals and phenona.
Currently, the Taoist, Demon Dao, and Buddhism were the most flourishing, with ongoing conflict between the Taoist and Demon forces. Buddhism seed to watch from the sidelines but was subtly involved.
Additionally, in the Second Realm Sea, the division of immortals’ power was sowhat simpler compared to the Third Realm Sea.
They were divided into five Great Realms: Human Immortal, Profound Immortal, Heavenly Immortal, True Immortal, and Golden Immortal.
Each Great Realm had nine stages.
After undergoing Thunder Tribulation refinent during Cultivation Ascension, a Mahayana Cultivator could beco a Human Immortal upon reaching the Second Realm Sea.
Those who successfully passed the Guiding Thunder Tribulation typically reached Human Immortal Second or Third Layer.
A few individuals with exceptional Talent achieved the Human Immortal Third Layer upon arrival.
Of course, although this realm was the lowest among the five Great Realms in the Second Realm Sea, in reality, even within the Second Realm Sea, many mortals and cultivators below Mahayana existed.
Thus, the Human Immortal Realm was already considered a mainstay, with the greatest concentration of immortals in most forces.
The ones truly able to traverse the Second Realm Sea were often at the Profound Immortal stage.
The Heavenly Immortal Realm served as a facade for a force.
When it ca to the True Immortal Realm, they were almost the foundation of major forces, with the exceptional ones regarded as Immortal Monarchs among the Immortal Sect Twelve Palaces, rarely erging unless involving matters of great importance.
As for the Golden Immortal, these were true giants; perhaps due to taboo, their nas weren’t ntioned in “Records of the Realm Sea,” only briefly ntioned.
What surprised Wang Ba was that he recognized two nas in the True Immortal Registry in this collection.
One was ‘Lu He,’ the Immortal Monarch of the Chen Palace, and the other was ‘Tibo,’ a Buddhist Bodhisattva.
Both were Bodhisattvas, but Bodhisattvas of the Third Realm Sea were evidently incomparable to those of the Second Realm Sea. In fact, only at Tibo’s level could one be called a ‘Bodhisattva.’
In this True Immortal Registry, Wang Ba also noted that Immortal Monarch Lu He was listed as ‘suspected fallen,’ and Tibo shared the sa status.
With a thought, Wang Ba consud several Elixirs and, following his mory, found Lu He’s entry in the registry.
He then read the account of Immortal Monarch Lu He’s life experience.
Unfortunately, as if for so reason, so restrictions seed to be applied to this content, and Wang Ba couldn’t look at it directly without feeling stinging pain, allowing him only a rough understanding of Lu He’s skills.
The text read: “His Essence excelled in all techniques, none unknown or unrefined, a leader among the old generation of the Immortal Sect Twelve Palaces, particularly adept in Swordsmanship, possessing seventy-two Innate Cloud Forbidden Dao Swords, ‘Hidden Void’…”
Wang Ba couldn’t help recalling the sword sheath he obtained at the immortal mansion above the sea.
