"Master’s insight is profound, I will diligently adhere to your teachings."
The old servant said, cupping his hands.
The young man turned back, continuing to gaze at the distant Cloud Sea, "If you truly listened to my teachings, how could you have ended up in such a situation now?"
After speaking, the young man ignored him.
His previous words had already drawn the attention of the Foundation Establishnt cultivators outside the Immortal Residence Pavilion.
To express such insights, it doesn’t seem like the words of a young person; instead, it resembles an ancient being who has lived for hundreds of years, witnessing life’s many ups and downs.
"Quick, it’s starting!"
Soone shouted suddenly.
The young man and the old servant both looked up toward the distant Cloud Sea. What was once only gently rippling had begun to rotate, and a vortex was gradually forming over the Cloud Sea.
It seed as if a giant stood atop the Cloud Sea, stirring the winds and clouds with an enormous iron rod.
Once the vortex took shape, its speed increased rapidly.
It continually swallowed the Cloud Sea.
The strong winds at the summit of Celestial Pillar Mountain intensified.
The young man watched the ever-fastening vortex, a hint of joy appearing in his eyes. He turned around and asked the cultivators outside the pavilion:
"Do you know how vast the Cloud Sea vortex is?"
The cultivators heard this question for the first ti and montarily didn’t know how to answer, looking at each other in confusion.
Finally, an elderly man with a walking stick, his cloudy eyes open, stroked his beard and said, "Years ago, out of curiosity, my senior brother and I asured the width after watching the Cloud Sea for the first ti. We estimated it to be seven hundred miles across."
"The asurent seems accurate enough."
The young man chuckled lightly and turned back.
Beside the old man stood a mid-stage Foundation Establishnt female cultivator, who could no longer hold back, planning to scold the young man.
But the old man raised his hand to stop her.
The young man saw this but acted as if he had not, smiling lightly with his hands placed behind his back as he slowly said, "Because the iron rod I used to stir the Cloud Sea back then was exactly seven hundred miles long."
The old man initially didn’t react but turned his head after nodding.
Yet, he quickly spun around again, looking at the young man before him with disbelief. However, after giving it so thought, he shook his head and turned back again.
’This is what happens when one’s mind is muddled from too much cultivation, daring to speak such grandiose words without fear of biting his tongue in the strong mountain wind.’
The other cultivators cast doubtful glances at the young man. Such grandiose words were naturally not to be believed.
"Let’s go. I’ve fulfilled my last wish, watching the Cloud Sea vortex of Celestial Pillar Mountain. It’s just a sha, a sha indeed, that Uncle Gou Er hasn’t co."
The elderly man shook his head and sighed, using his right hand to steady his walking stick while his left hand was supported by the middle-aged female cultivator, and then he left.
The young man ignored their looks, watched until the Cloud Sea vortex ended beneath Celestial Pillar Mountain, and then finally turned his gaze away.
The other cultivators who ca to sightsee left after admiring the scene.
However, the young man and the old servant did not leave. They stayed atop the mountain in the Immortal Residence Pavilion.
They waited, a day passed, then another. People ca and went from the pavilion, again and again.
After five days, the old servant, who seed to be in a light slumber, suddenly opened his eyes.
"Master."
With outsiders still present in the pavilion, he transmitted his voice.
Seated at the stone table, the young man set down his teacup and smiled, "Don’t worry, he will co up."
Indeed, Ji Yuan, having erged from seclusion... eventually ca up. With the Cloud Palace Sword condensed and ford, it was necessary to witness this magnificent scene once more, wasn’t it?
It was a pity he missed the grand spectacle of the Cloud Sea vortex.
Ji Yuan wondered if he should wait another month, but the thought quickly passed and he ultimately dismissed the idea.
Lingering too long just to admire the scenery was a waste.
He glanced a few tis at the Cloud Sea, which provided him a flying sword embryo, intending to turn away when he noticed the master-servant pair in the pavilion staring at him.
He felt sowhat uneasy but maintained a polite smile nevertheless.
Because that old servant was at a mid-stage Foundation Establishnt cultivation.
Mid-stage Foundation Establishnt against mid-stage Foundation Establishnt, the advantage lay with him, hence Ji Yuan maintained appropriate courtesy.
Just as he was about to summon the Flying Boat, the young man smiled and said, "I have yet to congratulate you on condensing your sword embryo, fellow Daoist."
A normal person, hearing these words, would surely stop to inquire further.
But Ji Yuan was not a normal person; upon hearing this, his speed increased.
He even plastered several Divine Travel Talismans on his Flying Boat, his form vanishing in an instant.
The young man seeing this, turned to smile helplessly at the old servant, "Such cautiousness truly runs strongly in the lineage."
"No worries, let go and bring him back."
The old servant said as he prepared to move.
But the young man was swifter; before the servant finished speaking, the young man had already vanished.
Just when Ji Yuan thought he had shaken off the master-servant pair, allowing him to rest easy, he suddenly discovered... the young man had sohow appeared atop his Flying Boat!
Damn, what speed is this!
Ji Yuan instinctually thought of activating the scales within his body, then tearing a page to return to his sect... This damn Shang Court found this quickly?
This doesn’t make sense!
"Rest assured, I’m a friend, not a foe."
The young man smiled as he spoke.
Seeing that he possessed the power to easily crush him yet did not act, Ji Yuan was no longer in a hurry to run. Instead, he cupped his hands in salute to the young man before him.
