And while the Gulad Empire had sent its main forces to the Southern Territory under the command of Galukasa, the Fla Emperor, the overall combat strength of its local garrisons was far beyond what the Forest Tribes could muster.
More importantly, Nesia’s Evil God Believer Corps seed limited in number, preventing them from splitting their forces to open all the Void Gates at once.
They could only concentrate their forces to slowly chip away at the central regions of the Gulad Empire.
This situation also ant that the number of imperial civilians who managed to escape the "Death Zone" far exceeded that of the Forest Sub-humans.
However, a small portion of the human population held a deep-seated, intense prejudice against "Necromancers" and "Undead Creatures."
Worse still, many imperial garrison soldiers, eager to earn rit, were mixed in with the crowd.
As a result, these fleeing imperial soldiers and civilians inevitably caused Qin Feng a great deal of trouble.
This happened even though the Undead Army, led by Arthas, was not only flying the conspicuous banner of the "Holy Empire" but had also deliberately planned its route to avoid the fleeing humans.

As for the garrison soldiers who had hoped to gain rit amidst the chaos, they instantly reined in their ambitions and beca incredibly docile after witnessing the terrifying combat power of the Undead Creatures firsthand.
In the chaos of battle, many who had participated in the resistance were taken captive by the Undead Legion and quickly converted into Divine Chosen Soldiers, now 100% loyal to Qin Feng.
However, Qin Feng knew in his heart that the core purpose of this operation was rely for Reconnaissance, to gather intelligence on the enemy’s forces.
It was not to completely crush the Evil God Believer Corps.
Therefore, Qin Feng recalled all these 100% loyal Divine Chosen Soldiers, whose growth potential had been raised indefinitely, to a frontline defensive city he had temporarily chosen.
The rest of the Undead Legion, now acting as "reconnaissance cannon fodder," soon ca face to face with the Evil God Believer Corps, which was rampaging through the center of the Imperial Capital—burning, killing, and looting.
Just as Qin Feng had expected, these enemies were all Envious Believers, possessing a Heaven-defying ability to plunder the skills of others. Despite all of them having the Mage Profession, they had mastered nurous contradictory lee skills.
The Envious Believers, for their part, wasted no words. The very instant they encountered Arthas’s troops, they lunged forward and launched a ferocious attack.
Subsequently, facing the enemy’s wide-scale magical bombardnt, the ordinary Undead Soldiers under Arthas’s command were completely unable to resist, annihilated almost the instant the two forces t.
Even the Extraordinary Level Undead Soldiers summoned by the Land of Corruption skill suffered heavy casualties under such a fierce assault, unable to even get within a hundred ters of the enemy.
Only the Skeleton Mages, who were also at the Extraordinary Level, could fight back with the various schools of Magic they had mastered, barely posing a threat to these Magic Masters who worshipped the God of Envy.
