Now reading: Chapter 316 - 49: Skaven Ratmen from Lord Game: I Have 100 Million Talents, a Game novel by Spirit Piercing the Rainbow v.

With his almost broken Multi-shot Arrow skill, combined with the "Nagash’s Gaze" Necromancy spell that could instantly mow down low-level Ratn, Qin Feng had no need to fight the Corpse Tide head-on with a team, nor did he require any support from teammates to finish off stragglers.

He only had to stand in one spot to calmly sweep away all the monsters from the Corpse Tide, without even a single drop of blood staining his clothes.

As for the five Sielo Knights Qin Feng had brought into battle, they could only slack off behind him the entire ti. They never had a chance to fight, nor was there any need for them to lift a finger.

Once Qin Feng had wiped out all the Skaven Ratn from the Corpse Tide, he had accumulated a total of 150 Expedition Coins.

According to the original ga’s rules, this amount was enough to exchange for a random Divine Chosen Favor at the Blessing Altar, and this Magic-Modified "Expedition Gate" just so happened to follow that sa rule.

So, he strode toward the conspicuous Blessing Altar nearby, offered up his 150 Expedition Coins, and successfully claid his new Divine Chosen Favor.

[You have received a Divine Chosen Favor. All lee damage output increased by 20%!]

’An increase to lee damage?’

’That could be useful.’

’But it’s not necessary.’

’My current damage output is more than enough to steamroll this Level 1 difficulty Expedition Gate.’

Just then, a mory flashed through Qin Feng’s mind—of the ti he had spent imrsed in the world of "Plague 2."

Back then, he had been playing on Legendary Mode, a difficulty second only to the highest level, Celestial Tribulation. The Skaven Ratn in the ga were as if they had all chugged Frenzy Potions; not only were their attacks ferocious, but their damage was also absurdly high.

If his guess was correct, once his "Random Event" Talent finished upgrading, the difficulty of subsequent Random Events would increase significantly, but the corresponding rewards would also be far more generous.

When that happened, the Skaven Ratn in this Expedition Gate would likely transform into terrifying monsters on par with those from the original ga’s Legendary or even Celestial Tribulation difficulties.

With that thought, Qin Feng delayed no longer and continued to push deeper into the map.

Before long, a familiar sight appeared in his field of view: the Trial Box, which granted players random Divine Chosen Favors in the ga.

However, to obtain this favor, one first had to survive an extrely difficult wave of Elite Monsters.

Without the slightest hesitation, Qin Feng chose to begin the trial.

The next second, he loosed a rapid volley of arrows. The Multi-shot Arrow tore through the air as he simultaneously raised a hand to cast Nagash’s Gaze. Under the combined assault of these two powers, the Heavy-Armored Storm War Rats summoned by the Trial Box were all instantly killed.

As for the Gutter Runner Rats lurking in the shadows, they couldn’t escape Qin Feng’s notice either. He relied on his Eagle Eye Talent’s ability to break Invisibility to pinpoint their furtive movents.

Before they could launch a sneak attack, Qin Feng struck first, piercing their skulls with a single arrow each and nipping the danger in the bud.

Unfortunately, he still failed to obtain the rather useful Invisibility ability.

Qin Feng mused to himself, ’I wonder if it’s because the monsters in this Expedition Gate can’t have their Talents plundered, or if the Gutter Runner Rat’s Invisibility only counts as a skill and not an Exclusive Talent. That must be why I missed out.’

Not only that, but so of the other Skaven Ratn elites Qin Feng had seen in the ga also made their appearance. While they posed no real threat to him, they did add a few minor obstacles to his run.

The Beast Hunter was one of the most dangerous special elites. Its hook had incredible stagger resistance, allowing it to tank hits while forcibly dragging a player away. After dragging them off, it would hang the player on a pole, then wander away empty-handed for a bit. Once a new hook automatically spawned in its hand, it would go looking for its next victim.

Driven by a bit of curiosity, Qin Feng had one of his accompanying Sielo Knights deliberately take a hit from the Beast Hunter’s hook.

He had always been curious if the Beast Hunter’s nearly invincible hard crowd-control ability from the ga would be effective against his Divine Chosen Soldiers—or even himself—in this Path of Expedition he had created.

What happened next completely confird his suspicions. The Sielo Knight, originally so powerful, was caught fast by the hook and dragged half a block by the clanking Beast Hunter. From start to finish, the Knight was completely unable to break free from its grip.

’Holy shit...’

’That crowd control is insane...’

’If my Recruit Prisoners ability worked on these things, I could form a whole squad of Beast Hunter Rats. That would be completely heaven-defying...’

Afterward, Qin Feng made a few observations. The problem with the Beast Hunter Rat was similar to that of the Gutter Runner Rat: they didn’t make much noise and were always appearing and disappearing, leading to nasty surprises around corners. A hook could even suddenly fly out in the middle of a battle with a Corpse Tide.

The standard counterasure was to listen for the CLANKING of the bottles on its body, then quickly retreat from any corners and find a long, straight corridor or an open area to make a stand. This would deny them the opportunity for a surprise attack with their hooks.

Another tactic was to stick together as a group. That way, even if soone was careless enough to get hooked, the others could rescue them in ti.

However, as a Super Wall-Hanger with top-tier abilities, Qin Feng’s Eagle Eye Talent was powerful enough to see through walls, allowing him to perceive the Beast Hunter Ratman’s every move.

As a result, these terrifying threats that gave regular Lord Players endless headaches were nothing more than a piece of cake in his eyes.
