Facing Gumu Qi’s invitation, Qin Feng simply shook his head, firmly refusing. The reason he gave was exactly the sa as the one he had given the mad madam.
He wasn’t the least bit afraid that the Freljord Alliance behind Gumu Qi would make a move against him.
After all, these large Player Alliance guilds were both maintainers of order and subject to supervision by other guilds. They would never randomly attack ordinary people or Lord Players in the Real World and break the "Player Laws" they themselves enforced.
Besides, even if the Freljord Alliance truly intended to take action, they would have to wait for "Phase Three" of the Lord World to officially open.
Then, they would either have to send mbers from their own "Phase Three" Freljord branch to migrate and co after Qin Feng as a group.
Or, they would have to persuade the native Heaven’s Chosen Ruler of their Plane to initiate a Plane War. This would open a Teleportation channel between the two Plane Worlds. Then, they could gather the forces of all the Freljord branch mbers on that Plane to specifically target Qin Feng during the conflict.
Only then could they pose a real threat to Qin Feng as a Lord Player.
But when that ti ca, both sides would be Phase Three Transcendents. On what grounds could these people possibly contend with Qin Feng, a man with cheat-like powers who held nearly a hundred Hero Talents?
As for the Eye of the Hunter...
Qin Feng’s Sixth Sense told him that he was currently the only one who possessed this Heaven-defying ability. It was basically a "backdoor" opened exclusively for him by the King of War. It was impossible for anyone else to obtain the sa "Sealed Resurrection" ability.
Even if there were an exception, the other person’s "Sealed Resurrection" ability would absolutely not work in the Real World.
As a "hacker" who had proven his Sixth Sense true countless tis, Qin Feng chose to trust his intuition once again.
It could be said that in the Real World, he was in an invincible position, an Invincible man. He could even personally break the "Invincible" protection chanism of others.
"In any case,"
"I’ll leave the rest to you."
"I only ca here for him."
With that, Qin Feng nodded farewell to Gumu Qi and the others, then mounted the Winged Dragon Beast’s back and sped off toward his own city.
However, he didn’t imdiately return to the Lord World, which he already considered his "new ho." Instead, he first contacted the acting Alliance Leader of the Art Alliance—Hungry Wolf.
Unfortunately, Hungry Wolf was currently leading the main forces of the Art Alliance in a fierce battle against other Player Alliances in the Lord World, so he couldn’t reply for the ti being.
The only one available was Shelter from the Wind and Rain, who was at ho by herself. She was responsible for holding down the fort and observing the Real World, all while using a "post-battle recovery" buff to replenish her villagers and troops for the next fight.
Shelter from the Wind and Rain’s voice held a hint of surprise:
"Qin Feng?"
"It’s rare for you to co back to the Real World."
In response to her question, Qin Feng didn’t hide anything, his tone frank:
"My sister isn’t back yet. For , there’s no difference between staying in the Lord World and the Real World."
"But by staying in the Lord World, I can squeeze out more ti to focus on getting stronger and developing properly."
"So I just don’t co back."
Shelter from the Wind and Rain chuckled lightly after hearing this, her voice tinged with understanding:
"Mm."
"I get it."
"You and your sister..."
"You’re really cut from the sa cloth."
"She once said that if she didn’t have to co back to take care of you, she’d want to stay in the Lord World twenty-four hours a day... I suppose that might be why she earned the favor of the King of War and received all those powerful Talents."
Hearing this, Qin Feng was rather surprised. Although he found the theory a bit abstract, he supposed it wasn’t an impossible explanation.
’Maybe it’s because of my own "hardworking" attitude that I also earned the King of War’s favor?’
However, in Qin Feng’s view, there was a more logical explanation than the two words "hard work."
The King of War was paying such close attention to him most likely because of the "Riding and Cutting System" he possessed. Perhaps this hidden system had already tipped the other party off.
It was even possible that the other party had long been perfectly aware of the system’s existence.
After all, the King of War was a Deity in this ga and could monitor every move of the Lord Players at any ti. It would be perfectly normal for him to discover sothing special.
As he pondered, Qin Feng spoke into the phone:
"Sister Zhefeng, are you free right now? I’d like to et with you. There are a few questions I want to ask."
Shelter from the Wind and Rain replied quickly, her voice crisp and efficient:
"I am."
"Let’s et at the sa place as last ti."
"You go on ahead."
"I’ll grab a cab and be there soon."
After the call ended, the two soon t at the sa café as before. It was the sa dimly lit private room, and the sa familiar woman.
Qin Feng didn’t intend to beat around the bush or waste ti, so he sat down and got straight to the point:
"Sister Zhefeng, have you ever heard from my sister about... the Abyss?"
’The Abyss?’
’What’s that?’
Seeing the puzzled look on Shelter from the Wind and Rain’s face, Qin Feng imdiately realized that the people from the Art Alliance had certainly never heard the word "Abyss," let alone knew what the Evil Dragon Jinli and the God of the Abyss behind it were.
However, it wasn’t a big deal.
Qin Feng had already anticipated this outco.
He knew full well that if the people from the Art Alliance had truly known about the Abyss, they would have certainly ntioned it last ti when they were giving him the "strategy rundown." They would never have hidden sothing like that from him, Qin Yao’s biological younger brother.
