At these words, the foreign Lord Player beside him smacked his thigh. A triumphant glint flashed in his eyes as he shouted:

"Ha!"

"Makes sense!"

"Let’s exploit this stupid flaw where the Undead Soldiers don’t press their advantage!"

"We’ll make a strategic retreat first!"

"Once our allies on the other fronts have dealt with their own battles!"

"Then we’ll all regroup, combine all our Divine Chosen Legions, and co back to take care of this terrifying Undead Legion!"

After a brief pause, he arched an eyebrow and added with a scornful, disbelieving laugh,

"That said, this Undead Army is already so freakishly powerful. Surely this isn’t even Lord Tingfeng’s main force, is it?"

At his words, the other foreign Lord Players fell silent. Their expressions froze, and a storm erupted in their minds.

’Fuck!’

’It was better when you kept your mouth shut!’

’Now that you ntion it, my heart just sank. I have a really, really bad feeling about this!’

Just then, a foreign Lord Player in the crowd took a sharp step forward. His hands were clenched into fists, knuckles white, and the veins on his temples bulged slightly. His face was a mask of anxiety as he asked in a rushed tone,

"Can we contact the Lord Players in the other zones? Ask them how their battles are going? What if they’ve also run into a freakish Undead Legion like this?"

The surrounding Lord Players imdiately grew restless. So wrung their hands, others paced back and forth anxiously. All eyes, filled with a mixture of hope and dread, turned, searching for an answer.

A foreign Reincarnated Player standing nearby raised a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. He slowly shook his head and replied with certainty,

"We can’t."

"During a Plane War, all communication channels between Lord Players are locked. That includes the opposing faction’s regional chat channels."

He gestured toward the battlefield and elaborated,

"For Lord Players on the sa side to communicate, they have to rely on communication artifacts, ssage-carrying Scouts, or other reconnaissance Soldier Types. The only other way is to use Teleportation to et in person."

"Another option is to return to the Real World and use real-world thods to communicate."

"But," he added, his tone shifting as his brow furrowed, "that creates another problem."

"If we do that, our Divine Chosen Soldiers on the battlefield will be left without a commander. They’ll have to fight on instinct and won’t be able to coordinate with other Lord Players’ Divine Chosen Teams. It would be a recipe for disaster."

"One small mistake,"

"and our entire Divine Chosen Legion could be wiped out by the enemy for nothing."

The mont he finished speaking, the hope on many of the Lord Players’ faces vanished. So sighed heavily. Others slumped against the war chariots behind them. A few gritted their teeth and tightened their grip on their weapons, their expressions a mixture of frustrated helplessness and anxiety.

Just then, one Lord Player’s eyes suddenly lit up. He slapped his forehead and suggested, his voice a mix of excitent and uncertainty,

"Wait a second!"

"But these Undead Soldiers won’t chase us out of the city, right?"

He took a couple of steps forward, making a flying motion with his hands as his words tumbled out faster.

"We could just send our flying units the long way around to find the other foreign Lord Players and ask about their battle status!"

"And another thing!"

He added excitedly, as if another idea had just struck him,

"We can also send one or two people back to the Real World! They can check the forums to see what the overall situation is, and if anyone who’s already won their battle has posted an update!"

"As for the people who return to the Real World, we can take temporary command of their Divine Chosen Soldiers. That way, they won’t get suddenly wiped out because of so bizarre AI tactic!"

"Worst-case scenario, even if these outrageous Undead Soldiers suddenly charge out of the city, we can just retreat with those players’ Divine Chosen Soldiers!"

"It’s completely risk-free!"

Hearing this, the surrounding Lord Players stopped their anxious fidgeting. All eyes snapped to the speaker, their faces showing flickers of interest.

One of them smacked his thigh, the gloom on his face vanishing as he chid in loudly,

"That’s right!"

"How did I not think of this!"

"Excellent!"

"Let’s do it!"

But others were more cautious, frowning and tapping their sword hilts as they voiced their doubts.

"If we send out flying units the long way around, won’t they just get intercepted by other enemy forces?"

"Keep in mind, Flying Units are harder to train than ranged units. They’re valuable, high-tier Soldier Types. It’ll hurt like hell if we lose even one!"

At that, one of the players leaned forward impatiently and shot back,

"Losses? People die in war! We’ve already lost so many Divine Chosen Soldiers! And you’re still worried about a few special Flying Soldier Types?"

"Whatever, I think it’s a solid plan!"

"Let’s get soone on it, now!"

"We can’t decide on our next move until we have a clear picture of the other fronts!"

Seeing this, the others began to nod in agreent as well.

One player shrugged, his tone lightening.

"He’s right."

"Sending people out for intel is dangerous, but it’s better than just waiting around here."

"If you won’t go,"

"I will."

A foreign Lord Player beside him nodded, his eyes showing his approval.

"Can’t argue with that."

"The plan is worth a shot."

"Count in..."

And so, with the majority in favor, the foreign Lord Players quickly reached a consensus and finalized the plan.

A squadron of agile Flying Soldier Types beat their wings and rose into the air. They cut through the smoke and dust blanketing the battlefield and flew off in different directions, tasked with scouting the status of the other fronts.
