A black tide of the Forest Wolf Pack, like a flood from a broken dam, surged into the territory through the morning mist. Eerie green eyes darted between the Residential Buildings as sharp claws and teeth tore the forr tranquility to shreds.

Inside the Lord’s Hall, Zhao Chuan, who had been following a scout’s point of view, was jolted to his senses. He scrambled to the hall’s highest terrace, his eyes fixed on the northern horizon, now shattered by the horn’s cry.
He saw the inky-black Wolf Pack swarm over the ridges between the fields, their claws shredding linen clothes left out to dry.
The farrs and Woodcutters who couldn’t react in ti were caught completely off guard. Their hands, still gripping hoes and axes, were frozen in the postures of their labor, even as terrifying fangs pierced their throats.

He gripped the artifact tightly. Using its built-in remote command function, he began to scream orders to his Divine Chosen Army, scattered throughout the Northern Forest:

However, before all the outlying Divine Chosen Army could receive the order to fall back, the ornate iron doors of the Lord’s Hall burst open with a thunderous BOOM. Hordes of well-equipped Ratman Warriors, wielding Black Crystal Longswords, sward inside.

With that thought, Zhao Chuan took a deep breath. He knew he was dood. His only hope was the player Gale, who was already dispatching a massive army to his territory.
Because Gale wasn’t like Zhao Chuan. He was a true elite player from the FSC Alliance; he wouldn’t make the kind of foolish plays a Tang person would, like converting all his villagers into production-focused citizens, leaving him with no combat units, or building useless Arrow Towers that couldn’t give any early warning.
To Gale, Zero-star (Blue) Divine Chosen Soldiers were just basic cannon fodder.
His main army had long since reached the Zero-star (Purple) power level.
In other words, while this Lord Player nad Tingfeng could easily crush a Little Tangren like Zhao Chuan (whose ga na was Mountain and River), he was clearly no match for Gale.

The last thing he saw was the Life Value bar above his head shattering like a spiderweb. Fine motes of light rained down as a system notification, as sharp and cold as an icy needle, pierced the depths of his consciousness.
