Rotten cabbage, rotten eggs, and stones were thrown at Maxwell.
Those attacks didn’t hurt his body, but the anger in his heart was growing stronger.
Maxwell had lost all face while being chased by these midgets, but he really didn’t dare to randomly start fighting back. This was especially true when a portion of the gno race chasing him were innocent civilians.
"Fellow tribesman, this human dared to kill a gno in our own territory. An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. We must cut his head off and hang it outside our cave entrance. This will warn those lowly humans that we gnos are a race that cannot be provoked!"
"Well said! Kill him!"
"Catch up to him and don’t let him escape! We must avenge Lord Ben!"
More and more gnos were joining the chase.
It was unknown when, a group of gnos in black eye-catching clothes silently squeezed into the rest of the crowd.
None of the other gnos noticed this.
It was different for Maxwell because he recognised those black clothes. It was the sa clothes that the clothed midget was wearing when he made an arrow sneak attack inside the Hell Array. Maxwell’s heart sank as he said to himself, "Those midgets aren’t going to sneak attack with arrows again, right?"
Imdiately after, Maxwell beca extra cautious.
At the sa ti, he sent out his spiritual senses to look for Fernando’s aura. If he were able to find the gno race’s little prince at this ti, then everything would solve itself.
Suddenly.
"Arghhh..."
A shrill cry ca from soone amongst the crowd of gnos.
A normal gno civilian fell into a pool of his own blood.
"Soone was killed!"
"That damn human killed soone!"
"He can use evil sorcery to kill people; everyone, be careful!"
"That damn human killed another mber of our tribe! Iron Blood Corps, what do you guys eat on a daily basis? Why haven’t you killed that human yet?"
---
Rage. Ever-increasing rage.
First, it was Ben, and now it was normal civilians. One must know that the gno race was mostly made up of normal civilians without any battle powers. Now that this human wasn’t even letting normal gnos off, their rage exploded forth!
Maxwell glanced back with a blank expression and didn’t bother explaining.
He was very clear that trying to explain to these gnos was absolutely useless at this point. Even though he didn’t make any moves, an outsider like him would naturally be blad for all offences.
"Arghhh..."
Another normal civilian fell.
"Arghhh..."
Several civilians fell again, making the rage in everyone stronger.
But Maxwell’s eyebrows locked together fiercely. He locked onto the auras of those black clothed gnos and said to himself, "You want to fra ? You want to incite the wrath of the people and force to attack?"
"Such evil bastards!"
Maxwell was extrely irritated.
This must’ve been planned out in advance, and hidden sowhere is the person pulling the strings.
"Kill him!"
"Kill him!"
The commoner gnos were getting angrier and angrier as more gnos participated in the chase. As for the Iron Blood Corps, they had sohow quietly retreated from the masses and were nowhere to be found.
On top of a tower of the palace.
Asher had a sinister smile on his face as he said, "It looks like the tolerance of this human isn’t too bad."
"But..."
"My patience is quite bad."
"Secretly transmit my orders: Have the assassination team pick the won, children, and the elderly. The more they kill, the better it is for us. But make sure they aren’t found out. They are free to beco as crazy as they want when it pertains to other matters."
Axel’s expression turned slightly grim as he said, "Elder brother, I don’t think killing like this is too good. They are still the mbers of our gno race, we..."
"You know nothing but a fart!"
Asher then angrily lectured: "Without the King’s Seal, there’s no way I can beco the king of the gnos. This is a great opportunity for to beco the gno race’s hero, an unprecedented hero! I want them to treat as the gno race’s ultimate saviour. This will be more useful than having the King’s Seal in my hands."
In order to move up, Axel didn’t care about the process.
In his book, every regi change was built on blood and corpses.
His regi change had already succeeded halfway, and he was only missing moving up to his rightful place.
"Execute my commands imdiately!" Shouted Asher. He then continued: "Next ti, no matter what I say, no one is allowed to refute my words. That includes you, understand?"
Axel lightly nodded and replied: "Understood."
Asher’s expression turned ferocious and started laughing insidiously: "So what if a few people die? As long as I beco the gno race’s hero and beco their new king, so what if even more people die? Hahaha..."
He had already gone nuts from his desire to beco king!
Back to Maxwell’s predicant.
Maxwell personally witnessed those black clothed gnos killing people. His eyebrows quivered as he said to himself, "I can’t let this continue, or else all these deaths would be put on . When do I have to suffer such injustice?"
"They’re truly pissing off!"
Suddenly, another small group of eye-catching black clothed gnos slipped into the crowd.
They only totalled about a dozen people.
Amongst the thousands of gnos here, they were like an inconspicuous drop in the ocean where no one would notice.
Gnos continued dying.
This ti, they were focused on killing children, won, and the elderly. Their actions were extrely cruel, where throats were slit in a single action. They would then disappear mysteriously so that these normal civilians who hadn’t cultivated had no idea what had happened.
In the eyes of the civilians, it was Maxwell who had used so evil sorcery to kill them.
In their eyes, humans were equivalent to evil fiends.
It was humans who had forced them to such a mountain range where the beasts road freely. It was the human race that had forced them into living underground.
Humans were considered greedy, despicable, and evil. Amongst the gno race, any negative or bad words were usually used to describe the human race. This kind of thinking was deeply ingrained in them since they were young, so they couldn’t suspect that it was their own tribal mbers who were currently killing them.
"Everyone attack together! I refuse to believe we can’t kill him!"
"He didn’t even let the children or the elderly off. This person deserves to be chopped up into thousands of pieces!"
"Arghhh... Give back my son!"
---
Rage! Complete rage!
Maxwell was enraged because he couldn’t find Fernando’s aura. If this kept up, he would be surrounded when they eventually forced him into a dead end. By that ti, he wouldn’t be able to escape even if he wanted to kill his way out. The flas of anger inside him rose to the sky as he shouted, "You’re practically forcing to kill out of anger! Fine!"
"You have succeeded!"
Asher started laughing.
He had a big smile on his face as he laughed smugly.
He laughed and said, "He finally couldn’t stand it any longer. Kill; kill; kill like crazy! The more you kill, the better it will be. Kill until blood flows like a river. By that ti, I will beco the gno race’s hero. I will beco their new king, hahaha..."
Maxwell’s eyebrows were locked. His spiritual will was like the waves of the sea as it crazily surged out.
"Lock onto the target!"
"And smash him to pieces for !"
"Bam!"
The head of the killer in eye-catching black clothes had exploded into mush.
Asher’s gaze suddenly underwent a drastic change!
