Everyone had their own reverse scale.

Everyone had a scar that cannot be touched.

Asher’s thod of seizing power was too treacherous and could not be revealed to the outside world. Otherwise, he can forget about ruling the gno race or becoming their king for his entire life.

However, the things he had planned on were perfect for the assassination group he had grood; therefore, he was clear on the repercussions.

That’s why this was his reverse scale.

When he heard the black clothed killer was about to reveal everything, he was similar to a cat having their tail stepped on. His rage exploded instantly, and his figure disappeared from his position as he shot into the air.

A monstrous amount of killing intent was shooting over.

Maxwell smiled smugly and said to himself, "The mastermind behind the scenes couldn’t endure it anymore."

Right after that, Maxwell said to the killer in his grasp: "You see? Your boss can’t hold back anymore. He’s really going to kill you now. That previous arrow was most likely a sneak attack on , but I stopped its trajectory. This ti, he’s most likely aiming for you, so you have no other choice."

The black clothed killer was played by Maxwell to the point of almost dying.

He hated Maxwell deep to the bones but didn’t dare to reveal it. As Maxwell has pointed out, he had no other choices left.

Thinking about everything, he replied: "As long as you can safeguard my life, I can tell you everything. I can even tell you how Asher managed to secretly kill our king as well."

Maxwell’s heart sank.

"Oh shit!"

"I didn’t expect the waters here to be this muddy."

"This is exactly the opening of a coup d’état."

Maxwell was shocked inside because he had unknowingly embroiled himself in a regi change. He then said to himself, "Since I’ve been shoved into this ss, I might as well make use of it. I can help the little guy snatch the king’s position back or sothing."

Suddenly, Maxwell grunted out, "Fine, I will guarantee your life. But you need to rember what you’ve agreed to, or else I will make you suffer a life worse than death."

As he was saying this...

Maxwell had infused his voice with the Grim Reaper’s killing intent. The black clothed killer’s heart sank, and his expression turned even paler. He rapidly shook his head to show he wouldn’t lie because he was truly afraid of Maxwell.

Maxwell moved his right arm and threw the killer into his spatial ring.

Also at this ti...

Ten arrows were shot out towards Maxwell. Each arrow had sealed a path of retreat, and they all contained an incomparable amount of power within. Streaking through the air, those ten arrows were like huge swords piercing towards Maxwell.

Each arrow contained an overwhelming amount of explosive power!

Just a re touch of them would cause the arrows to explode, just like how it had happened at the base of the mountain earlier.

Recalling that experience, the flas of anger burst forth inside Maxwell’s heart. He then shouted: "Ben has died and there’s still you, a black clothed midget left. Shooting out arrow sneak attacks in the rear, huh? I’ll let you shoot until your heart’s content!"

Maxwell was never afraid of battles of attrition!

After activating Hunted Cut over ten tis, a large portion of his mana was used up. His arms were shaking a bit, but Maxwell maintained a single thought: "My Turn!"

Ben had to die, so he was dead now!

This black clothed midget who forced him into the Hell Array was especially deserving of death!

After ten heavy attacks, it was all blocked ten tis. Maxwell’s anger was practically bursting at the seams now.

"Block it!"

"Keep showing how you’re going to block!"

With the eleventh slash, the blade’s trajectory cut through the sky as its power didn’t diminish a single ounce.

Axel was now breathless, and his face flushed from the pressure from the attack. He glared at Maxwell and cursed out, "A lowly human like you wants to kill ? Quit dreaming! How can I be soone a trashy human like you can kill!"

Maxwell was astonished by this.

Axel was exhausted to death, but his eyes were still filled with disdain.

He was still arrogant and unbridled, completely not putting Maxwell in his eyes.

Maxwell couldn’t understand this. Had the gnos beco so narcissistic to this level?

Who gave them the courage to feel that way?

Maxwell really couldn’t stand it anymore, as his brain was about to be burned by the flas of anger. He then shouted: "Die!"

His blade chopped down!

This ti, Axel didn’t utilise The Great Array to resist. There was a ferocious smile on his face as he shouted: "Escape Array!"

He then slapped his palm on the ground.

With a bright flash, his figure started to disappear.

Escape!

"This damn gno race really has all kinds of arrays." Maxwell had a shocked expression on his face as he started hating the arrays of the gnos more and more.

Seeing Maxwell’s shocked expression, Axel started smiling smugly. He then coldly said, "Lowly human, an inferior race like yours wants to kill ? Are you even qualified, you damn trash like existence!"

Disdain! Unbridled mockery!

"You damn dog thing!"

"Stop running if you have the guts!" Maxwell didn’t reduce his strength as he continued with another chop.

The speed of the attack was extrely fast.

But the speed of Axel’s disappearance was quite fast as well. He had calculated the ti precisely so that the instant the blade reached him, he would have completely disappeared from his spot. He managed to ridicule

Maxwell at the last mont by saying, "Trashy human, try killing if you have the guts."

"Co; co kill ."

"You inferior race, kill ! Kill ; go ahead and kill ! Can a trash as you kill ?"

Cheap!
