Fargo had been following all along.

There was only one thought inside his mind – Maxwell had to die!

After entering Eden, he learnt about Wing and Sandrock. But he couldn’t figure out what these two magical iron monsters were.

Fargo couldn’t understand the situation.

He said he was training but why would he just kill spawned beasts like mad?

Was he training his martial techniques?

But from beginning to end, Maxwell never really used any martial technique. Each of his attacks was purely fueled by raw power and he didn’t see any mana being used. There weren’t any mana fluctuations either, so which Academy’s training thod was he utilising?

Maxwell looked just like a madman.

He was killing spawned beasts without a care for his own life. He had nurous wounds that were still dripping blood and he hadn’t even frowned as if he didn’t care at all. Within Eden, he just kept releasing his killing intent to attract group after group of spawned beasts. If these weren’t actions of a madman, what is?

Who would do stuff like him?

The longer he followed, the more Fargo couldn’t understand why Maxwell was doing this.

In order to see what Maxwell was up to, he could only continue following along.

Until just now! Maxwell had levelled up.

The Silver Rank aura that rippled out completely shocked Fargo and made his mind go numb. Maxwell never cultivated so how did he level up?

Could he have levelled up from killing spawned beasts?

Then how can this be allowed to go on!

This was why he finally decided to make a sneak attack. A 16-year-old level 10 silver rank, this was like the birth of an evil on.

Fargo clearly understood that if he didn’t strike now, there wouldn’t be any chances in the future!

A chilling sword briefly flashed within the dark forest, and a cold sword light filled with killing intent pierced through. Fargo was brimming with Mana as his level 7 silver rank oppressive aura surged out. He then activated his martial technique. "Flaming Particle Sword!"

Flaming Particle Sword was the Gillette Household’s only type 2 sword technique.

Once the sword strikes out, the power is similar to a particle crashing down from the sky. Its power is beyond asurent.

The sharpness of this single sword strike was unfathomable.

This sword strike was Fargo’s most powerful attack he could muster.

This sword strike would kill no matter what.

The pressure was like a mountain as it crushed down on Maxwell’s mind and sea of consciousness. But fortunately, it wasn’t as uncomfortable as in the past since he now had the strength of soone at a silver rank.

This was the benefit of having a higher cultivation level.

The sword aura pressed down while the formless pressure interfered with Maxwell’s mind.

It was a bit hard to endure when his mind and sea of consciousness were shaking from the pressure. Maxwell then started coldly laughing as he turned around with a frown. He glared at Fargo, who was flying directly at him, and smiled. "I’ve been waiting in pain for you for so long!"

His lips were curved into a smile, his body unmoving and his facial expression seemingly very excited.

Maxwell was aware soone was following him from the beginning. He didn’t know who it was but only knew it was soone at the silver rank. That’s why he was killing like a madman until he couldn’t tell if it was night or day. He kept on killing not daring to rest for even a single second.

He was so tired that he could fall asleep if he just lay on the ground. But of course, he didn’t dare to fall asleep.

His heart was constantly reminding him not to fall asleep. He had to use every second to kill monsters and level up. Only when he enters the silver rank will he have the ability to safeguard his own life.

The mont he levelled up, he deliberately made it look like he was unfocused to give Fargo the chance to take advantage of it and to attack. He never thought that Fargo would actually fall for it.

Maxwell started smiling excitedly upon seeing Fargo coming over. "A red nad elite monster should explode with so good loot right?"

Fargo’s eyes changed as his sword also transford within the darkness. His sword aura suddenly beca as strong as a blazing firework as he cried out:

"Die!"

Maxwell smiled as a sudden breeze blew by. Like a lightning flash, he activated: "Ghost Steps!"

A Type 4 martial technique – Ghost Steps

Like a shadow, like the wind.

An insubstantial shadow fluttering away like the elusive drifting wind.

As his feet moved, Maxwell’s entire body seed to have lded into a breeze. His body beca illusory where one could not tell where he really was.

"Swoosh!"

A sword pierced thin air as Fargo’s heart sank. His right foot stomped out causing him to quickly leap into the air and land off to the side in a safer area.

"Hahaha... Maxwell excitedly laughed. He then turned to Fargo, who had just landed, and said playfully: "Old man, continue to co at ."

He did not regard Fargo in his eyes at all.

Fargo was completely enraged, and cracking noises were heard from him as he clenched his teeth too hard. Upon glaring at Maxwell, his right hand holding a sword kept still while his left hand started to make patterns in the air. "Let’s see how you’re going to dodge this!"

"Boom!"

A loud sound ca from the air before a huge hand appeared floating there.

Also at this mont, Fargo once again pierced his sword towards Maxwell. This ti, the speed of the sword was even faster and fiercer than before.

Two attacks from different directions. Even if one of the attacks doesn’t land, the second one will hit its mark. Escaping from one strike may be possible, but it will be impossible to dodge the second strike.

Fargo was over forty years old now. Although one can’t say he was a seasoned veteran, at least he was considered to have quite a bit of battle experience.

Maxwell’s eyebrows sank as he heavily exhaled. Just like Fargo, his right hand made a grasping motion and a violent sound was heard.

He activated Ghost Steps as his body lded into the wind. The image of him appeared all over the place before he shot towards Fargo.

"You dare to co at head-on with your level 10 silver rank strength?" Fargo coldly humphed before the huge hand in the hard descended grabbing at Maxwell.

This was an attack made purely of mana!

Maxwell made the sa move. The huge hand he manifested with his right hand shot forth intercepting Fargo’s. One palm was filled with flas while the other gave out a Dragon roar before they collided together.

"Boom!"

This was without the addition of Overdrive.

Fargo was at level 7 silver rank. To Maxwell, this was a good opportunity for him to understand the difference between the levels of the silver rank. This will also allow him to understand the difference between him and the level 7 rank.

This will allow him to fully prepare for the fight against the last boss Sebastian!

"Boom!"

Another sound of collision between the two palms was heard as Mana raged on pushing at each other.

A few seconds later, Maxwell’s manifested right hand had begun to disperse, while Fargo’s manifested right hand depleted a lot of its strength, but still managed to keep its shape.

Maxwell’s pair of fists punched out to take on Fargo’s sword strike.

His body shook as he retreated several ters back, while Fargo only needed to take 2 steps back to stabilise himself.

There was an obvious strength difference between a level 10 silver rank and a level 7 silver rank. Maxwell then said to himself: "Sure enough, just a small 2-level gap and the power cannot be asured by common sense."

Fargo coldly smiled with pride, "You dare to fight with your level 10 silver rank strength? Simply overestimating your own abilities!"

Maxwell revelled in his own strength and continued coldly smiling: "Okay, I don’t feel like playing with you anymore. It’s ti for you to die."

Right after the word "die," Maxwell internally activated: "Overdrive!"

His attributes doubled and the energy rippling out of his body was visible to the naked eye. Maxwell’s aura was completely different from before, and the oppressive force by Fargo was now useless against him.

This was the power behind Overdrive!

In an instant, Maxwell smiled ferociously, and his body shot out at shocking speeds. Fargo almost couldn’t react in ti and was only able to shift his sword in front of his chest with an astonished face.

"Bam!"

The heavy punch was like a cannonball crashing down.

Pain shot into Fargo’s chest, and his internal organs felt like they had gone through an earthquake. His face paled as he retreated before abruptly turning around to escape.

"You want to run? You damn old man, after being abused by you for so many years, you actually want to escape now?" Maxwell instantly caught up to him and appeared in front of him. With a grim smile on his face, Maxwell threw out his fists and directly smashed him back to their original positions.

With Overdrive’s enhancent, Fargo was not Maxwell’s opponent at all.

Fargo was completely steamrolled by Maxwell.

After receiving another heavy blow, Fargo sprayed out a mouthful of black blood. As if his eyes could spray out flas, "Maxwell, you dare to attempt to kill ? Sebastian knows that I’ve been following you. If you dare to kill , Gwendolyn and Constantine will also be killed!"

"You dare to threaten ? You will be the first, and next will be Sebastian." Maxwell roared out as if venting all the anger built up in his heart. His pair of fists was like a thunderstorm as it smashed out.

"Bam!"

Fargo was smashed, flying off dozens of ters before smashing into a big tree. His face paled as his mind trembled. To him, looking at Maxwell right now was like staring at a grim reaper from hell!

Escape!

Since he was already dozens of ters away, Fargo decided to run away like crazy. He was a sorry-looking figure as he scrambled to climb back up onto his feet.

Maxwell coldly laughed and didn’t bother chasing. He brought out a zero storage space and tossed it out with a roar: "Deathscythe, kill him."
