Lord Of Puppets Chapter 100 – Kingdom of Garmfon VS Golem Dungeon – Part 4

"C-common! We are almost there!" – said male beast-human scout as he was helping injured female beast-human.

"Easy.... For you..... To fucking say.... When you don’t have a god damned crossbow bolts sticking out from your fucking back!" – shouted the female scout, before then vomiting blood.

"Don’t speak! You will only- "

"!?"

The man suddenly fallen down on the ground and dragged down the female scout alongside him, which he was carrying.

[Item: Extremally random rock that can make you trip]

"?!"

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ?!" – shouted the beast-human as he realized he tripped on very random rock, before then noticing the horde of monster right behind the scouts.

(Oh well, we are dead.) – thought the beast-human as the hound golem leaped at him and was about to bite off his face, if it wasn’t for the wolf beastman knight rushing in and knocking back the golem monster.

"SECURE THE SCOUTS! MAKE SURE THEY ARRIVE SAFELY TO THE CAMP!" – shouted the beastman knight as the soldiers ran to the scouts rescue, quickly surrounding defending the scouts from the monsters while a two soldiers quickly helped the fallen scouts get to safety.

"Only you two? What about the others?" – asked the knight.

"N-no. Only us..... The rest are dead." – replied male beast-knight.

"NO! WAIT! WHERE IS GENERAL!?" – shouted panicking male beast-human.

"Here." – said the general as he quickly rushed to the battlefield alongside his own knights, providing the additional support.

"What the hell did you do?! Why there is so many of those.... ’DOG’ things chasing after you?!"

"N-no! Not the dogs! T-they are not alone!" – said the panicking scout as he grabbed the soldier.

"P-please! Sir! You need to mobilize the army, now!"

"?"

"What are you talking about? What is going on!?" – asked the alard general while the soldiers alongside knights continue fighting the hound golems.

"In the forest! All the golems gathered together!"

"There was a giant army of them!"

"N-not only that, there was sothing amongst the golems! Sothing massive! So kind of new enemies!"

"!"

(Okay, yea. That does not sound good at all!) – thought general.

"DEAL WITH THIS GOLEMS ASAP AND REUTNR TO THE CAMP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!"

"YOU! GO BACK AND RAISE ALARM! THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THE ENEMY MAYBE COMING FOR THE COUNTER ATTACK!"

"Y-yes sir!" – replied soldier before then going back to the camp while the scouts were escorted to safety.

"..."

(Dammit! What the hell is going on?!) – thought the beastman general as he looked around and saw the army of hound golems running out of forest, prompting the general to quickly rush in to assist the soldier.

(Why there is so many of these ’dogs’ here?!)

(Their sole number is way too off!?)

(By any chance, are these all the ’dogs’ the forest had? Is that why he said the golems were gathering?) – thought the beastman general as he cut down the hound golems left and right, before then getting tacked and bit by one of the golems into the shoulders, wounding the man, but not critically as his armor was able to prevent any serious injuries.

"PISS OFF!" – shouted the beastman as he grabbed and slamd down the golem, before then smashing it to bits with {Axe Art: Heavy Twin Strike}.

(Gathering and new monsters making appearance.....)

(Yea, this solidifies the existence of the mastermind.)

(But whom?)

(A monster amongst the monsters we had fought? Or maybe the dungeon is controlling these monsters sohow even after they got manifested?)

(First thing first, why did monsters started gathering!? And why there is so many golems chasing after them!? And why the fuck are they not giving up?!)

Even though the number of hound golems was great.... It was nowhere near enough to take on the entire camp of soldiers.

If anything, they were not only easily outnumbered by the massive army, but thanks to the soldiers not fighting in the forest, the mages had a clear line of sight to unleashes their spells, straight up blasting the monsters and giving the soldiers a opening to start quickly demising the golems numbers, before then managing to completely eradicating them.

"Fuck..... Hey! Who was the fucking smart ass who said that as long as we are far away enough, they won’t attack us!? The fuck was that!?" – asked a annoyed soldier.

"I did." – said the general.

"G-general?! I-Em – Well- "

"Save it." – said general to the panicking soldier.

"I didn’t knew this would happened."

(These golems patterns are changing even more!)

(In the reports, as long as you got far away enough, the golems would just give up and turn back!)

(Hell! Not all the golems that were after us ended up chasing us outside the forest!)

"Hey! Is there any more movents from the forest?! Did you spotted anything!?" – said nervous general.

"N-no sir. There is still nothing." – said a human soldier with a spyglass.

"Keep looking! As soon as you see sothing, inform the knights, got it!?" – said general as he started quickly running towards the camp in hurry.

"Where are the scouts that were rescued?!" - said the general as he quickly got back to the camp.

"They are being treated by the dic team." – said the soldier as he lead the general to the dical tent where doctors and healers were helping out the scouts.

"General?!" – asked surprised male scout as he was getting bandaged by the doctor.

"..."

"What happened?" – asked the general as he noticed the female beast-human unconscious.

"What the hell did you saw in the forest?"

"I.... I don’t know." – said the surviving scout.

"We found out that all golems started moving almost at the sa ti, which made us go after them."

"We fallowed them into the deeper parts of the forest, before then they stopped..... And then we saw it."

"Army of golems.... If I were to guess, all golems from the forest had gathered and united."

"Then when they gathered, we saw so large figures suddenly erging, we couldn’t get a proper look on them, since we needed to hide, but all we could tell was that they were massive."

"..."

"However, right in the next mont, all golems suddenly turned around."

"They sohow instantly knew our location, even though I don’t think we made any mistake....."

"Afterwords we ran away..... But as you can see, only us two survived."

"Is that it?" – asked general.

"No other special details that needs to be ntioned?"

"N-no.... This is all we had discovered before we started being hunted down." – replied the scout.

"Thank you." – said the general before then leaving the tent.

(OKAY! THE FUCK!?) – thought the general as he started walking in hurry back towards his own tent.

(Not only these golems are nothing alike to the previous golems that were in the reports, but the way they are acting and fighting are also nothing alike to the reports!)

(Were these reports forged?)

"He would definitely make sure that the watch over this place was perfect."

(Maybe so of the soldiers from both factions found themselves in the golem dungeon and ended up killing each other, while the golems took down the remaining soldiers? Allow the dungeon to speed up its growth..... But that..... FUCK!)

(There is way too many points that don’t make sense!)

"HEY! DID THAT BASTARD IGOR FOUND ANYTHING?!"

"N-no sir.... He still haven’t reported anything." – replied soldier.

"Then go and check up on him! See if he at least found a single clue!" – said the general as he entered his own tent and instantly started looking for sothing.

(Oranox was a good bastard.)

(He was stupid, for thinking that peace was the only option, but he was good.)

(He was not only good at fighting and commanding soldiers, but also about politics and such.)

(He was from ti to ti at random completely hot headed, but most of the ti he could think things through.)

(These reports are real.) – thought the beastman as took out and was looking through the docunts as well as reports that once belonged to the Royal faction who was in charge of controlling this dungeon.

(So why the fuck differences are so massive!?)

"Fuck .... It hasn’t even been a full fucking day since we gotten here, but now my fucking head is filled to the brim with questions."

"Am I missing sothing? Or is there sothing else going on behind the scenes?" – said the man to himself as he started looking for the clues, trying to understand the bizarre situation he found himself in.

The beastman general knew that he had more than enough soldiers to take down the monsters of the forest.

However, he knew that if he were to try brute his way, his army would end up suffering so heavy casualties, which are unactable right now.

But he also started understanding that sothing was off.

Gustav Chariot wasn’t so muscle headed idiot or a corrupted nobleman.

He was a warrior and leader.

He may not be as strong as the previous general, but he makes up for it in brains..... And that was worries him.

He knew sothing was off.

He knew that even if the reports were old and a lot of ti had passed since sobody had took control over the dungeon’s forest.... But it didn’t looked correct in his eyes.

He realized that monsters were far stronger but also "strategic", unlike before.... Which is to show that the man suspicious about sothing not being right with dungeon had been proven correct.

But he didn’t understood "what", "why" or "how". He lacked too many key informations, which scared the man, which made him order his soldiers to just stand by, ordering to wait in the camp until so sort of weakness or discovery regarding the golems had been found.

But they were not waiting.

The golems marched through the forest, all united in a form of a single giant army.

This ti the golems were no longer waiting, setting up traps or fortifying their defenses.

This ti the golems were the ones who were about to go on the offensive.
