Lord Of Puppets Chapter 168 – Peace and rise

[Current location: Capital city of Gorijy – Plaza]

"Is it really over?" – asked a curios citizen.

"No. Than can’t be right! My boy is still out there!" – said worried citizen.

"But there was no news for a while now.... So maybe-"

"EVERYBODY! PLEASE KEEP SILENCE!" – shouted a tall knight.

"The king is about to make his speech." – said the knight as right in this very mont, in the castle balcony, a young man with a brown hair and green eyes stepped forward, revealing himself to the public.

The young king approached the edge of the balcony while a knight handed him over a short magical staff with an orb like object attached on top of it.

"My people." – said the king into the short staff, causing his voice to echo throughout the city.

"My subject."

"The people of the Gorijy kingdom."

"Thank you all for gathering today."

"All of you are probably wondering what is the purpose for such gathering."

"So let get this straight."

"You may heard about or not."

"But the war is officially over!" – said the king, instantly startling the crowd of people.

"And the one who had one. Was us."

"The wicked kingdom of the Mowiorano is no more."

"Their kingdom is ours."

"Not only theirs, but Garmfon kingdom’s as well."

"We have won this war."

"We had not only survived it, but ca on top above all the kingdom!"

"This is our kingdom!"

"As once our founder of Gorijy kingdom survived by slaughtering the horde of mad gryphons, so we did by slaughtering the beasts and monsters by the na of Mowiorano kingdom."

"The peace has been brought to the land! And we had proven our might!"

"Our glory!"

"Our aning!"

"The war has ended and the monsters have been slain."

After finishing his speech, the king turned around and handed back the staff like device to the knight, before then going inside of the castle.

"You are really everywhere, aren’t you?" – asked the young king as he looked towards pillar.

"Oh? You have spotted ?" – asked the voice behind the pillar as in the very next mont, a man in the black suit, blond hair and brown eyes walked out from his hiding spot.

"I’m used to assassin coming after my ass, sothing you are well aware of." – said the young king.

"Of course, I’ve learned few things regarding ’feeling a presence’."

"But in the first place, you were not really hiding, were you?" – asked the king as the man approached.

"Of course. Since we have to talk business... My dear ’emperor’." – said the man in the suit.

"If it is about the deal, then yes. I rember it." – said Gustav Warmin as he and the man in the suit started walking through the halls of castle, before then quickly arriving at the private office that belonged to the young ruler.

"As per deal, I will provide what you wanted."

"However, you do realize that providing you all with the necessary stuff will take ti, like we had originally discussed."

"Yes. I’m fully aware of that." – said the man in the suit as he covered the room’s windows with curtain.

"Considering that your nation will transform from the kingdom to the empire, things are bound to get.... Interesting."

"Or just plain annoying in the way."

"The kingdoms of Miorio and Warmur were not only kicked out, but they were forced to surrender as well as given up on acquiring of the new territories."

"Honestly speaking? These two are opportunistic hyenas."

"They are cowards that only go after the weak."

"They will probably not dare to bark at us.... Well, alone that is." – said the man in the suit.

"This kingdom military power sky rocket in a matter of months."

"What about the Garmfon kingdom?" – asked the young ruler as he took out a bottle of whisky and poured it into two glasses.

"Dead. We make sure of that." – said the man in the suit as he took the glass and began sniffing the whisky before then drinking it.

"Ahhhh.... Your kingdom is really fucking good at making alcohols. Really! I an it! This is so real proper whisky! I don’t know when was the last ti I managed to get my hands on the stuff as good as this!"

"Anyway, both the king and the general of the Garmfon kingdom as well as that new rebel force of theirs, which they ford right after the kingdom’s destruction, all of them had been dealt with."

"Honestly, I wasn’t expecting these bastards to straight up forget about that beastman king and instead just throw him into the prison when all shit went to hell."

"Heck. He even managed to escape when we conquered the capital city."

"We almost even lost the fucker as well."

"Wasn’t expecting the deer to have such good skills at hiding and stuff... I guess life on the run did forced him to adapt."

"Oh well, he is dead and the Garmfon kingdom is completely buried. This ti there won’t be any rebellions or anything."

"Keep them as slaves or accept them as your subjects. I don’t care about this part."

"That shitty daughter of the king straight up betrayed their own kingdom the mont they were facing annihilation and LET us inside the city."

"Yea... I heard about that one." – said the young ruler as the man in the suit poured himself more alcohol.

"Honestly, how the hell did she not realized she would end up being killed? I an.... Okay, never mind."

"Her actions proven her stupidity."

"Pretty much.... Damn! This stuff is really good! Can you get few bottles of this?" – asked the man in the suit as he was visible very enjoying himself with his drink.

"Yea, yea. I will." – said young ruler.

"Well then, I think that covers it all." – said the man as he put the glass down.

"As per deal, we will continuously supporting you, while at the sa ti we will also start being more... ’Public’."

"You just have to continue on developing your nation and if anything does happened, like accident or maybe sobody annoying pops up."

"Just give us a heads up and we will deal with it."

"I understand." – said the young man as sobody began then knocking on the door.

"Enter." – said the young ruler.

"Excuse ." – said the nobleman, entering the room where the prince was standing alone, in the completely sealed off room.

"I’m so sorry your majesty, but this is quiet urgent." – said the nobleman while carrying a bunch of docunts.

"Oh great.... So, you really had more paper work for .... *Sigh*... Just hand them here." – said the annoyed young ruler.

The kingdom of Garmfon and the kingdom of Mowiorano have both ceased to exit.

The kingdom of Gorijy, a kingdom that was consider as one of more peaceful kingdoms, had suddenly taken up the arms alongside kingdom Miorio and kingdom Warmur.

At first it seed like the kingdom of Garmfon only wanted to get rid of the dangerous kingdom of Mowiorano....

But it didn’t took long for their true ambition to be reveal.

A total take over.

The kingdom of Gorijy may had been consider as a peaceful kingdom, but they were also quiet powerful with solid military.

However, what they had shown wasn’t their "usual army", but sothing different.

Sothing.... "Powerful".

The strength of the Gorijy kingdom which was displayed was straight up overwhelming.

The destroyed elves could not even lift a finger as their nation was being just dismantled with ease, right in front of their eyes.

Not only that, but both kingdom Miorio and kingdom Warmur whom tried to take over the territories of the two fallen kingdoms, were instead t with a fist right into their faces.

A small war between nations broke out, aiming to take over as much territory for themselves as possible.... But only kingdom of Gorijy gained ANY territory from this war.

The two kingdoms were completely crushed as were their armies, forcing the two kingdoms to not only surrender but also completely forfeited any territories they had acquired from this war.

And just like that, in just a matter of few months, the kingdom of Gorijy size straight up more than tripled, compare to its original size.

And in just matter of days, an announcent was made.

The declaration of foundation.

The declaration of the rebirth of the Gorijy kingdom and rise of the Gorijy empire.

And that was the beginning of the empire.

As the days, weeks and months would go by, this nation would not only patch up the damage which was caused by the countless wars that had already plagued the land, but their nation strength would only to continue growing.

There were those who tried to sabotage the empire while it was still "young", there were those who tried to "rob" the empire.... But in the end? They all failed.

Nobody was able to stop the growth of the empire.

And this was the beginning of the "fear".

As the nation around would slowly start to realize.

That this new empire is not sothing you can ss around with and survive.
