As the unknown Magical Beast fell, the crowd erupted in victorious cheers.
"How is everyone? Especially those of you who were just knocked aside—check yourselves for injuries."
Ronin gave the instruction, then walked over to the Magical Beast’s corpse.
Although the creature was no longer moving, its massive, nearly three-ter-long body still exuded a palpable sense of pressure. This feeling was amplified by the acrid sll of the Fire Elent explosion lingering in the air, leaving one feeling a little unsettled.
Elron knelt beside it, stroking its fur.
After being hit by the Fla Burst Skill, much of the fur on its head had been burned away. A section on its neck was also yellowed and curled, but most of it was still intact.
"I don’t know what Level this Magical Beast is. Its presence didn’t feel like a Third-level, but its Power seed a bit low compared to a Fourth-level Magical Beast."
"It’s a Fourth-level Magical Beast."
Ronin said, "Turn it over and look at its abdon. There’s a scar there, probably left by another beast. It was already injured."
Elron tried, but he wasn’t strong enough. With no other choice, he called for help, "Macken, co give a hand."

Elron asked, "My lord, what should we do with it?"

Killing the mother one second and wanting to ta its cub for his own use the next—it sounded incredibly cruel, but that was reality.
Humans were always on the nu for carnivorous Magical Beasts. And in the minds of humans, Magical Beasts were always a threat, unless they could be tad.
Ronin did have a Magic Beast Contract Scroll, but it was an extrely rare item that could only be created by a Seventh-level Dark Elent Great Mage. Using it on a Fourth-level Magical Beast would be a bit of a waste.
’This scroll should either be used to contract a Magical Beast with imnse potential or a powerful, adult Magical Beast,’ he thought. ’In any case, it’s not suitable for this cub.’
Therefore, if he wanted to make it his own, he would have to rely on taming it.
"Yes, my lord! I’m sure you’ll be able to ta it successfully!" Macken said encouragingly.
"Can I hold it?"
Erin walked over and asked timidly.
"Of course!"
The cub was only about forty to fifty centiters long, so Erin easily cradled it in her arms.
Perhaps because of the unfamiliar slls and the noisy surroundings, it kept whimpering restlessly. Erin stroked its small head, trying to soothe it, but it clearly wasn’t very effective.

Erin, who was using a cloth to wipe the spilled milk from the cub’s mouth, happily picked it up and followed him out.
In the living room, servants had already brought out a fruit platter and tea for the Beast Tar. Chahar was being very polite to the guest from Wushan Castle.

Brown’s eyes widened. He quickly walked up to Erin in astonishnt. "My god, this isn’t a dog! This... this really is a wild Magical Beast cub, and its eyes aren’t even open yet!"
"May I hold it?" he asked for permission.
Ronin nodded. "We know nothing about this Magical Beast. Do you know what type it is?"
Brown didn’t answer imdiately. He lifted the cub into the air by the scruff of its neck, examining it carefully and marveling as he did.
"My lord, if I’m not mistaken, this should be the cub of a Third-level Magical Beast, a Storm Demon Wolf!"
A Third-level Magical Beast?
Ronin asked in surprise, "But the Magical Beast I killed was Fourth-level."
A Fourth-level Magical Beast?
Brown’s eyes widened in shock. "My lord, you were actually able to kill a Fourth-level Magical Beast?"
"That was all thanks to Macken and the other Knights. I was just there to join in the excitent."
Standing by, Macken suddenly felt awkward. He hadn’t used a single move or sword swing from start to finish, yet now he was expected to take credit for it.
But Brown believed him. On the way here, he had seen Macken sparring with Knight Galier and knew that this robust Guard Officer possessed great Power.
"The strongest Storm Demon Wolf can only reach Third-level. I’ve never heard of a Fourth-level one."
He hesitated for a mont. "My lord, may I see the dead wolf?"
"Of course!"
Ronin nodded, letting Erin stay in the room with the cub while he took the Beast Tar to the Outer Fortress.
"This is definitely a Storm Demon Wolf!"
After seeing the dead Magical Beast, Brown was absolutely certain.
"It’s just that its body is larger than an ordinary Storm Demon Wolf. It must be a mutant, which would explain why it’s a Fourth-level Magical Beast."
"They are fast, their claws are sharp, their fur provides very strong defense, and they can also use Extraordinary Power to attack."

No matter how large this Storm Demon Wolf’s pack was, the opponent possessed the strength to defeat a Fourth-level Magical Beast at the very least.
If the Storm Demon Wolf could reach Mountain Forest Town, then so could its enemy.
"Not necessarily."
But Brown shook his head. "When a Storm Demon Wolf loses its pack, it leaves its original territory and migrates a great distance. A mother wolf’s gestation period is three months. This ans its original territory is most likely a three-month journey away from Mountain Forest Town."
Ronin knew this was just an estimate. "Macken, ensure the safety of the Ironwood Workshop area!"
"Yes, my lord!" Macken responded grimly.
Ronin suppressed his worries and changed the subject back. "Alright, Brown, let’s not discuss the Storm Demon Wolf for now. I’d like to ask for your help in taming that little one for ."
"I would be happy to be of service, Lord Baron."
Brown was very interested in taming Magical Beasts. "If this cub had already lived with its mother for a while and had its wild nature awakened, I couldn’t guarantee I could ta it. But since it hasn’t even opened its eyes, taming it will be much, much easier!"
