On top of that, his recent accumulations had also netted him 1,999 points of Energy Essence.
"It’s been a while since I’ve helped you increase your strength."
Ronin looked at the three subordinates standing before him.
Over this period, they had all improved to varying degrees through their own Cultivation.
Macken: Silver Knight (31/1500);
Elron: Chief Mage (380/2000);
Ridder: Silver Knight (649/1500).
Despite them all cultivating on their own, Ridder had already surpassed the others. His level progression was the fastest of the three, which was related to his Proud Sun Talent.
As for Macken, he had Golden Talent, so his Cultivation speed was significantly slower.
When the three n heard that their Lord was going to enhance their strength, they couldn’t help but exchange a glance, and smiles blood on their faces.

Ridder and Macken both looked on with envy. It was only natural that the Lord would prioritize raising Elron’s strength to save his own grandfather.

Ronin said with a smile. "In our current situation, the Wubei Territory still needs reliable combatants. So, Ridder, Macken, you two need to grow stronger as well. But considering Ridder’s combat prowess and talent are both higher, I will be investing more into his strength between the two of you."
Ridder thumped his chest firmly. "Ridder will not disappoint you!"
Macken looked a bit downcast but accepted the decision. He had the lowest talent, after all; the Lord had made the most logical choice.
"Macken, you were the first to follow , and I highly value your steady and patient nature."
Ronin encouraged him, "Even though Elron and Ridder are the priority right now, we have a long road ahead of us. There’s no need for you to be hasty. Just keep up with your Cultivation as you have been."
Ronin wasn’t just saying that, either. The road ahead was indeed long.
Macken dropped to one knee, speaking with emotion, "It is my honor to be valued by you, my Lord. Rest assured, I will continue to play to my strengths and will not let you down!"
Ronin raised a hand, gesturing for him to stand. He then distributed the Energy Essence among the three of them just as he had planned.
Macken received 28 points, Ridder 351, and Elron 1,620.
Macken’s strength saw only a slight increase.
Ridder’s progress jumped to (1000/1500). Based on what he’d said before, he was now strong enough to take on a Golden Knight in a one-on-one duel.
But the most critical change was in Elron.
He currently had his eyes closed, absorbing the effects of his advancent. After a long mont, he slowly opened them, a light shimring within his gaze. Elron now exuded an aura that put others at ease.
"Congratulations, Elron. You are now a Mage."
This rank of Mage represented a massive leap in power over the previous five levels.
First, the Magic Power in his Mana Space had undergone Magic Liquification. This allowed a Mage to store a vastly greater amount of Magic Power.
If the old Elron could only use Aurora Shadow once, he could now use it ten tis!
On top of that, there was another significant change: a Mage of this rank could now enhance the power of Ordinary Magic.
In other words, his Healing Skill was now drastically more effective. Correspondingly, the power of his offensive Magic, like the Punishnt Skill and Holy Judgnt, was also enhanced.
"This is all thanks to your grace, my Lord!"
Elron said with a deferential bow, his voice filled with piety, "May the Light be with you!"
"You’re starting to sound more like a holy roller than before."
"A holy roller?" Elron asked, confused.
Ronin chuckled and changed the subject. "So, tell what you gained from your advancent."
Elron delved into his mories.
"My Lord, I didn’t recover many mories from my past life this ti. It was mostly scenes of treating patients. However, one scene was rather similar to that group of bizarre people we encountered in the Mysterious Valley."
Ronin’s eyebrow shot up. "You an Natalia and those unkillable freaks?"
Elron nodded. "Yes, there was a scene where they couldn’t be killed. But as long as you pierced their bodies and furiously pumped your Extraordinary Power into them, they would turn to ash."
Ridder and Macken also looked astonished.
Since Elron had experienced such a thing, it stood to reason that they had as well.
They just hadn’t received a level-up this ti, so no new mories had surfaced.
"Don’t tell those things in the cave have been around since your past lives? Are they ancient relics that have survived to this day?"
’Considering Carlos’s age,’ he thought, ’does that an Elron and the others’ past lives were at least a thousand years ago?’
He didn’t dwell on it. More information would surely surface as the three of them continued to level up.
"Besides that, what about on the Magic front?"
"There’s that, too. I can now use a new spell: the Strong Healing Skill. I also awakened information on how to create a Burst Potion."
Ronin’s eyes lit up.
The Strong Healing Skill was a sustained healing spell. While it consud a great deal of Mana, its restorative power was imnse. It could even save the life of soone whose limbs had been severed.
Ronin currently had a Magic Scroll of Strong Healing Skill in his possession. It was this very type of scroll that had saved Wiggin’s life when his leg was severed.
"I’m familiar with that spell. It’s incredibly effective!"
Ronin said in admiration, then asked, "And what about this Burst Potion you ntioned?"
"It allows a Knight to unleash an additional fifty percent of their power for one minute, but it leaves them weakened for a full day afterward."
The other three n in the tent were all Professional Knights. They knew just how terrifying an additional fifty percent burst of power could be.
"The effect of that potion is astounding!"
Ridder considered his own strength. "At my current level, if I used that potion, I could probably take on a Mid-stage Golden Knight by myself."
"An extra fifty percent burst of power... that’s a truly terrifying effect!"
Macken added with a sigh, "Even with the one-day period of weakness and the one-minute duration, using it at a critical mont could completely turn the tide of a battle."
"Can you create it with what we have now?"
Ronin asked hurriedly. If they could produce it, it would significantly reduce the uncertainties of the coming war.
Elron shook his head helplessly. "My Lord, the ingredients are nurous. One of them requires at least a cup of fresh blood from a ferocious, powerful Sixth-level Magical Beast, such as a bear, tiger, lion, or ape."
A cup of blood was about five hundred milliliters. While not a large amount, obtaining it from a Sixth-level Magical Beast would be difficult.
’What about Carlos? Isn’t he a Sixth-level Magical Beast?’
