Now reading: Chapter 79: The Great Liberator from Lord of Cosmos, a Sci-fi novel by GladiousX.

The old man looked at Gaia with his tired eyes, then said, "I truly don’t rember, my son. The illness has weakened my mory. Besides, I was not a fan of reading, but you will find everything in the book. What I do rember is that he disappeared after that and never appeared again. But so said it was a female, so said it’s a male, so said it’s neither a male or female it’s sothing beyond that. But we all know this ancient being as The Lunix."

"The Lunix?" Gaia said, raising his right eyebrow in disapproval. "What a strange na."

The video clip changed, and everyone watched with amazent, confusion, and a mixture of fear, curiosity, disbelief, and denial.

The next scene was the most horrific of all. Gaia was walking like a madman through the middle of a burning city, and robots were swarming around him by the hundreds, holding advanced weapons and killing everyone their eyes fell upon. It was a civil war between them and the people of Atlantis, and the robots were making significant progress, killing everyone who stood in their way in a scene that sent shivers down the spine. The magnificent, ancient capital was burned to the ground. Children, won, and the elderly were fleeing one after another from this imminent death that pursued them without rcy or pity, on ships prepared for space travel for such ergencies. But the ships could not accommodate everyone. Most of the planet’s inhabitants fled, while the rest fled into the unknown, to a place Gaia knew well, but he did not care about them as long as they did not stand in his way.

The footage shifted to a shot of Athenos escaping on a spaceship, casting looks of anger and wrath at Gaia, who had gone mad because of the crown, destroyed everything, and driven his people off their planet. "Gaia, I will take revenge on you, you accursed one!" Athenos scread at him, his face flushed with blood. "I will surely return, and I will destroy all your damned machines, and you with them!"

Gaia smiled, feeling the ecstasy of victory. "I have saved the planet from destruction," he said to himself. "And I did not let this wretch who ca from space steal the crystal. The planet will remain alive with you or without you, and I will continue to protect it until I die."

"O Great Lunix, the crystal has shown the way. I have seen the light that our foolish ancestors hid from us. And when the ti cos, I and my venerable army will be at your service."

His eyes shinning as if they were two glowing lamps, and he began to say with madness as he stood amidst the rubble of his world, the robots moving around him in rows, destroying everything in front of them, "O great Lunix I need Power! Give more power! For the fate of this planet and the universe rests on my shoulders. I am the one who will bear this cruel fate alone, and this is for the future, and this is for the best."

Then the next scene shifted to the robots cooperating to build a better, larger, and more advanced and beautiful city. anwhile, Gaia was sitting on his golden, jewel-encrusted throne, watching them in silence as they built his new kingdom, which he would rule alone.

The next shot showed the utopian city that Gaia had created thanks to the machines. It was wonderful, beautiful, and extrely brilliant, as Ares had seen it when he passed through it.

The next scene shifted to one of the robots entering Gaia’s room on a ship hovering in the vastness of space to inform him of the urgent news that a strange, massive ship had entered their planet’s airspace more than a month ago. Their distance from the planet had caused the ssage to be delayed in space until it reached them. This ship had landed on the deserted continent adjacent to theirs. Gaia sent robots to monitor and gather information and changed the direction of his ship to return to his planet, having postponed his mission until further notice.

The robots continued to monitor until they had stolen everything he needed about these creatures that had invaded his planet and disturbed his peace of mind. And so, he began to learn their weaknesses and strengths.

In the beginning, the machines began to kidnap many humans by his order and conduct many heinous experints on them. Gaia found them to be interesting creatures, but they were hideous creatures who loved wars and destruction. He learned this after he had stolen all the data about their history and the planet they ca from, and all the small details related to the human race. So he decided to continue his experints on them, to find out the motive that drives them to all this violence and deception. After he had found the reason, he saw that they were the most intelligent and diverse creatures he had ever heard of.

The stories of planet Earth intrigued him, and he learned a secret he had not expected, which made him tremble with excitent. "Oh my God," he said to himself. "How small this universe really is, despite its vastness. Who would have thought, among all these planets, that they would co here?"

Gaia learned the truth about the humans that was ntioned in the ancient manuscripts, and this surprised him greatly.

And so he knew that he was close to beginning the pursuit of his goal, and only then would the first step before him to implent what was ntioned in the book begin. He said to himself in ecstasy, "Yes, I will be the Great Liberator, as ntioned in the book, and I will create the master race that will ascend to the next stage that the Lunix wants for us all."

And so he began the process of developing his machines to be the strongest and smartest ever, using the power of the Crystal of Life and the enormous technologies that his people had reached. He created a terrible artificial mind that was close to being similar to the human mind, until the robots reached a high degree of consciousness and the ability to create, innovate, and act as if they were alive. But they were not alive; they were acting according to their programming, which was set to make them this intelligent.
