The wind and snow are howling.

An insect nest burns in the valley, black smoke ford from the mix of blood and tar rises into the sky, igniting the entire twilight horizon.

And amidst the burning mountains of corpses and sea of fire, the Dragon Blood Legion descends through the snow.

They are clad in heavy armor interwoven with black and red, their formation as orderly as a torrent of iron.

The heavy infantry broke the wind first, raising their shields to form a wedge-shaped assault.

Behind them were flanking slicing knights and heavily armored javelin throwers.

The "Magic Explosion Spears" thrown from the high ridges split the sky, falling in clusters like a sudden thunderstorm.

Flas, explosions, fighting energy, a triple wave of lethal force advancing like a tidal wave.

A tide of insect corpses surged forth, crawling densely over the valley.

But in front of the Dragon Blood Legion, they seem like rely a precisely calculated "target for elimination."

"First column advance, maintain wedge formation."

"Second column break left, prepare third wave of magic spears!"

"Beheading squad, array in position."

Every command was simple, direct, without a trace of hesitation.

That was the voice of Deputy Corps Commander Gaius Calvin, echoing through the formation.

He rode on a warhorse clad in heavy armor, his nearly two-ter tall burly fra as robust as a sculpted iron wall.

He slowly raised his battle blade, its molten blade flowing like lava, the rising red fighting energy like an erupting furnace, casting a blood-red glow across the snowy landscape.

Even before the fighting energy fell, the insect corpses instinctively took a step back.

And blocking his path were three large High Tier insect corpses.

They had human-like appearances, yet wore armor cobbled together from insect shells and dead flesh, their pupils a deep blue, expressions cold and indifferent.

These were forr Snow Swearer warriors from the Northern Snow Country, the strongest warriors of the nation, whose bodies had been seized by the Insect Nest.

Forty years ago, the Empire conquered the Snow Country, burned the Royal Court, exterminated the Royal Family, and cast this proud warrior race into the dust.

And now they were reawakened and manipulated by the insect nest in their corpse forms.

They still retained their combat techniques, even more frenzied than before.

Bone blades ejected from their arms, stepping silently in the snow, as insect patterns on their bodies flickered, beginning to absorb blood and dead flesh from the battlefield to strengthen themselves.

"Hiss hiss—"

One insect corpse suddenly exploded with silver-white fighting energy, like a polar storm whirling up snow, slashing towards Gaius’s throat;

Another stomped on the snow fiercely, shattering a rock with one foot, as purple insect patterns on its body flickered rapidly, clearly activating so enhancent technique;

The third opened its mouth and roared, releasing an ear-piercing shock wave attempting to disrupt the flow of fighting energy...

Gaius rely glanced coldly at them, his eyes afla with disdain.

"Dead things shouldn’t jump back to life!"

He squeezed his horse’s flank, and the warhorse accelerated with a thunderous charge straight between the three corpses!

Red flas instantly expanded, condensing into a tangible domain of fighting energy.

"Red Fla Slash, unleash with full force."

He raised the battle blade high, flas coiling like a dragon tornado beside him, cutting a crimson path on the snowy ground.

A sudden slash!

The world seed to be cleaved open by a falling crimson teor!

All three insect corpses froze at once, their bodies subsequently exploded in midair.

No, they were lted from the inside out by the searing fighting energy, bones and flesh charred, insect shell shattered, and innards bursting into blood mist!

Where the slash mark lay, the snow lted into black mud, the air thick with the foul stench of charred insect bodies and hot tal.

"Is this the power of a Peak Knight?" A general in the battle array murmured, his voice filled with awe.

Two seconds later, the three insect corpses crashed to the ground, completely dead.

"Advance, all troops!" Gaius roared without turning back and continued to press forward.

The Dragon Blood Legion pressed on behind him, like the chains of a twisting dragon, charging into the not yet fully collapsed insect nest positions.

The Nest trembled, three waves of ntal corrosion surged from its depths.

At this mont, ordinary legions would often see their formations collapse and their spirits scatter, but the Dragon Blood Legion hesitated not in the slightest.

They resonated their fighting energy, reflecting the ntal waves back, even causing chaotic feedback within the Nest.

"They’re trying ntal tactics! Too naive."

"Keep advancing! Target is the nerve crystal and hatchery center!"

"Fireline Five – prepare to deploy Molten Fla Bullets!"

Five-mber beheading squads broke out from the Snow Forest, each adorned with fighting energy of different colors: red, blue, green, gray, gold, showcasing their abilities – piercing, beheading, nest disruption, incineration.

Their coordination was so seamless, it rivaled that of a small tactical corps.

As another Nest collapsed in flas, its main structure blasted into ruins, a black rain of insect blood and charred scraps began to fall over the valley.

Gaius slowly sheathed his blade, looking coldly into the distance.

"This is just the beginning." He rode on, as insects shivered at his passing, "Let them feel the true wrath of the Empire."

The Dragon Blood Legion’s battle flag flew high in the wind and snow, like a burning fla of fury, illuminating the entire blood-stained valley.

Even though the Cold Iron Legion had long been one of the Empire’s elite forces, with rigorous tactics and stable personnel, having managed to maintain the front line in the Northern Territory for a month,

But once the Dragon Blood Legion set foot on the permafrost battlefield, the contrast beca stark, the gap enormous.

In just four days, the Dragon Blood Legion powerfully seized command, relieving the Cold Iron soldiers who had been exhausted to their limits.

The legion that had held on between blood and snow for a whole month finally got to reorganize and rest.

anwhile, the advance of the Dragon Blood Legion was like an unstoppable ice-breaking spear.

They continuously captured over ten Nest strongholds, more than doubling the month’s achievents of the Cold Iron Legion!

They arrayed in the wind and snow, using fighting energy as their furnace, and blood as their offering, charging, beheading, incinerating, nest excavation, mine-laying, each action seamlessly linked like a well-oiled machine.
