The movent of the Galaxy of Destruction drew the attention of the entire universe almost instantly. For countless observers across the stars, the center of attention shifted overnight.
The enormous war that had consud the Mid sector 101 for so long, once considered the most important conflict in the region, was suddenly no longer the main spectacle of the cosmic stage.
All eyes turned elsewhere.
No one knew exactly when the fleets of the Galaxy of Destruction had spread across eight different sectors without anyone noticing. The distances between sectors were vast, and even the fastest fleets required many years of
continuous travel to cross them.
For those fleets to arrive simultaneously across such distant regions ant only one thing.
They must have been moving through the void for ten to fifteen years in complete silence.
Fifteen years of flawless concealnt.
Fifteen years of traveling through the deep darkness between sectors without emitting signals, without leaving traces, and without drawing the slightest suspicion from the countless surveillance networks that filled the universe.
It was an achievent so precise that many strategists later considered it nearly impossible.
And yet, that was exactly what had happened.
The Desrta Galaxy, which had long been stationed within the Mid sector 110, suddenly launched a coordinated assault on eight surrounding sectors at the sa mont. Four sectors lay in one direction, and four in the opposite direction, forming a wide are of simultaneous destruction spreading across the stars.
The contrast between this action and previous wars was shocking.
The accursed Behemoth and the Savage Behemoth had both attempted to conquer the Mid sector 101 by force, pouring enormous resources and countless fleets into the conflict for hundreds of years.
Yet even with all that effort, neither of them had succeeded in subduing that single sector.
And now, Helmor the Destroyer had decided to attack eight sectors at once. That alone was enough to make the news sound completely insane.
The attacks themselves were carried out with terrifying precision.
The armadas of the Behemoth of Destruction did not scatter randomly across the sectors. Instead, they moved directly toward their targets as if guided by flawless intelligence.
In each sector, the armadas struck the strongest Millennial Empire first.
Those empires were the pillars of power within their respective regions. They controlled countless star systems, commanded enormous fleets, and had ruled their territories for ages.
Yet they were the first to fall under attack.
Leading those armadas were the Second Row Scions of the Destroyer Behemoth.
In terms of status and lineage, they ranked below figures such as Hedrick, Harry, and the other prominent heirs. If they ever stood before one of the Five, they would be required to bow respectfully and address them as Elder Brother or Elder Sister.
But status alone did not define true power.
In reality, these Second Row Scions ford the true spearhead of the Destroyer Behemoth's military might.
They were the commanders who led armies into the most brutal wars.
Each armada was led by three of these Second Row Scions, and every one of them stood within the range of two Law Missions, making them terrifyingly powerful beings in their own right.
With such leaders commanding them, the armadas advanced like unstoppable blades cutting through the heart of each sector.
The Millennial Empires they attacked did not even have ti to understand what was happening.
There were no warnings. No negotiations. No demands.
One mont the skies above their worlds were calm.
The next mont hundreds of fleets descended from the void like a storm.
From those fleets poured hundreds of thousands of followers of the Path of Destruction, warriors whose sole purpose was to dismantle everything that stood before them.
Cities were crushed.
Star fortresses were torn apart.
Factories, temples, academies, and orbital stations that had taken millions of years to build were shattered in re days.
The invaders did not simply conquer.
They destroyed, dismantled, and looted everything in their path.
Within only a few months, the eight armadas across the different sectors had
already achieved the goals of their campaign.
The strongest Millennial Empire in each sector was struck at its heart, and their core planets suffered devastating blows.
In so cases, the attacks succeeded in killing so of the Millennial Planetary Emperors who ruled those empires.
In other cases, the attackers destroyed the very planet that emperor had
refined.
Such losses were catastrophic.
The surrounding powers in those sectors were left completely stunned.
There was no ti to form alliances.
No ti to gather fleets.
No ti even to understand what was happening.
All they could do was watch as the largest and most powerful force in their sector, the dominant predator that had ruled their skies for ages, was suddenly torn apart and devoured before their eyes.
The shock spread across the universe like wildfire.
Then, while countless civilizations were still trying to process the aning of
these attacks, another event followed.
Under the astonished gaze of the entire universe, an official announcent erged from the galaxy ruled by the Behemoth of Destruction. The statent was delivered in the na of Helmor the Destroyer himself.
That was the entire announcent.
No explanation. No evidence.
Yet its aning was unmistakable.
Imdiately after the announcent spread across the communication
networks of those sectors, the eight invading armadas sent direct ssages to every Centennial Empire and Millennial Empire within those sectors.
The tone of those ssages was clear and threatening.
They were ordered to submit to the authority of the Behemoth of Destruction.
They were ordered to publicly renounce all ties to the so-called subversive
organization.
And those ssages revealed the identity of the organization that had
provoked the wrath of Helmor the Destroyer.
It was the Shadow Swords.
...The organization had indeed begun expanding its activities within those sectors imdiately after the announcent of the Cosmic Elder. What had once been a quiet and nearly invisible group suddenly started spreading its influence in an organized and calculated manner. Their operations expanded into several fields at once.
They began supplying weapons to smaller powers that previously had little access to advanced military technology. They traded valuable intelligence gathered through their vast network of informants. They arranged alliances of mutual interest between rival forces that had previously refused to cooperate.
They also expanded their more secretive businesses: the sale of carefully guarded secrets, highly calculated assassinations, and delicate political diation between conflicting factions.
Within only a few years, the reputation and presence of the Shadow Swords
within those sectors exploded.
What had once been an almost unknown na beca one of the most
influential forces shaping the political and military balance of the region. Their agents appeared in courts, military councils, and negotiation chambers across multiple sectors, quietly weaving connections between powers that had never spoken to each other before.
For the empires that already existed within those sectors, however, the threatening ssages they received were not welcod with open arms.
Renouncing the Shadow Swords?
That part, surprisingly, did not trouble them very much.
If necessary, they could easily issue public statents declaring the organization an outlaw group. So rulers even suggested that they could
formally launch a hunt against the Shadow Swords and eliminate them entirely.
After all, the Shadow Swords were still rely an organization pursuing its own interests.
No empire was truly prepared to risk open war with a Behemoth just to protect such a group.
Moreover, the Shadow Swords had never attempted to force the powers of those sectors into fighting anyone. They had not pushed for grand alliances ant to challenge cosmic powers, nor had they tried to unite entire sectors
under a single banner.
Their actions had always appeared purely practical.
They sold weapons.
They sold information. They solved problems for a price.
No one fully understood what their ultimate goal was.
But if it ever beca clear that they would cause serious trouble, then
removing them would be possible.
However... surrendering to the authority of the Behemoth of Destruction?
That was sothing entirely different.
The Destroyer Behemoth was not rely asking them to renounce an organization.
He was demanding their submission.
In other words, he intended to bring all those sectors under his direct control.
That was the decisive point that changed everything.
So powers responded by sending cautious explanations, claiming neutrality
and denying any cooperation with suspicious organizations. Others remained completely silent, preferring to observe the situation and wait
before making any commitnts.
Still others began secretly exchanging ssages with each other, testing the possibility of cooperation in the face of this enormous threat.
Amid all this tension and uncertainty, the Shadow Swords quietly stepped
forward to play a new role.
When the deadline ntioned in the threatening ssages finally expired, the answer from the eight sectors beca clear and unmistakable.
They would not submit so easily.
Many of them were inspired by the stories spreading daily from the Mid sector
101.
That sector had beco a symbol.
For centuries, Behemoths had been regarded as unstoppable cosmic tyrants
whose will could not be challenged. Yet the wars of sector 101 had shown sothing different.
They had shown that Behemoths could bleed.
That they could be resisted.
That soone could stand before them and say no. Encouraged by those stories, the powers of the eight sectors began gathering
together.
The Shadow Swords took responsibility for coordinating these efforts. Their
influence and connections made them uniquely suited for such a role. They relied heavily on their newly developed interstellar communication network, a technological system far more advanced than the traditional communication arrays used by most empires.
This new network could not only transmit a person's voice across unimaginable distances, it could also project a light avatars of them in real ti. Through this system, rulers, commanders, and representatives from different starfields could appear together in the sa eting despite being separated by entire regions of space. Daily councils began taking place.
For the first ti in history, many of the most powerful figures across those eight sectors were able to speak with each other regularly, exchanging plans and coordinating strategies as if they were gathered in the sa room.
But while these preparations were underway, the armadas of the accursed Behemoth did not wait for the resistance to finish organizing itself. Without warning, they launched their next wave of attacks.
This ti their targets were not the strongest Millennial Empires, which had
already been shattered during the first strikes.
Instead, they moved against the second strongest empire in each sector. And once again, the assaults began without negotiations.
But this ti... things did not unfold as easily as before. The powers of those sectors had already begun preparing themselves.
Resistance appeared almost imdiately.
What had begun as a sudden series of raids was now transforming into
sothing much larger.
A real war had begun.
Across the universe, observers watched the situation closely. But there were
two individuals in particular who were following the war more closely than anyone else.
The Savage Behemoth in the Mid sector 105.
And the Oppression Behemoth in the Mid sector 115.
The reaction of the Oppression Behemoth was imdiate.
He did not release any statents. He did not request explanations. He did not
ask the Destroyer Behemoth for clarification.
The mont the war began, he issued a universal call to arms across his
domain.
All of his forces throughout the Mid sector 115 were summoned and gathered
without delay. Massive fleets that had been stationed across distant systems began moving simultaneously.
Within a short ti, they were all redirected toward the neighboring Mid
sector 114.
The aning of this movent was impossible to misunderstand.
The Behemoth of Oppression had drawn his line.
He would not allow the neighboring sector 114 to fall under the control of the
Destroyer Behemoth.
No matter what price had to be paid.
The reaction of the Savage Behemoth did not disappoint either.
Despite still being engaged in other conflicts, he gathered every fleet that
remained under his command within the Mid sector 105. Without hesitation, he sent them toward sector 106. Alongside those fleets, he dispatched the remaining First Row and Second Row
Scions whom he had previously kept close to his side. And then he released an official declaration.
A declaration that spread across the stars with shocking speed.
A declaration that left absolutely no room for retreat or negotiation.
