Everyone else addressed her as Miss Sawyer, but the servants at home addressed her Young Madam. The way Mrs. Winstead addressed her reminded her of the waitresses in the bar.
“A glass of warm water, please,” said she stiffly.
Well, she couldn’t blame Mrs. Winstead. After all, the woman didn’t know her, so how could she know Linda’s surname?
Serenity had initially wanted to make tea for her, but she remembered that Linda’s purpose for ing here was not pure. That was why she called out to Mrs. Winstead. This showed that she was the mistress of this place.
