Ran Xiangsi just walked out of the living room and saw the drizzle outside.
Standing under the eaves, Ran Xiangsi looked towards the brightly lit villa thirty ters away.
This distance wasn’t far, but if she ran over, she would definitely beco a drowned rat.
She already had a bit of a cold; if she got drenched again...
But the rain was falling so heavily, with no sign of stopping. She couldn’t just stay here in the cold wind, could she?
Hesitating, she still touched her head.
The stitches were already removed, the wound had healed well, getting it wet shouldn’t be a problem.
Ran Xiangsi gritted her teeth and resolutely stepped forward to charge into the pouring rain.
But as soon as she moved her foot, she saw soone approaching.
That tall figure and imposing presence quickly enveloped Ran Xiangsi!
She instinctively looked up and saw Xing Chen’s handso face, like that of an immortal.
"Xing Chen? Why are you here?"
"If I didn’t co, were you planning to just rush into the rain?" His voice was full of reproach, and seeing her about to dash into the rain, he was really glad he ca himself.
Ran Xiangsi let out an awkward laugh, "It’s not far anyway, and there’s no umbrella here."
They stared at each other, and Ran Xiangsi felt even warr all over...
"Ahem... You’re not here just to pick up, are you?" Ran Xiangsi glanced behind herself. It was dark everywhere; did he really have such a hobby, coming out for a stroll in the heavy rain?
"I’m not in such a good mood to get drenched." Xing Chen coldly retorted, clearly here out of concern for her, but his words sounded different.
Choked by his words, Ran Xiangsi was still very happy. Didn’t he indirectly admit he ca to pick her up?
Thinking of this, Ran Xiangsi cheerfully reached out to take the umbrella from Xing Chen’s hand, "Let hold the umbrella. How could I trouble you?"
Unexpectedly, Xing Chen didn’t let go, and Ran Xiangsi directly touched the back of his hand.
Both of them froze, and the increased skin contact made them even more flustered.
The atmosphere seed to heat up.
Realizing her abruptness, Ran Xiangsi hurriedly looked away, her blood boiling. She was really afraid if she continued to walk with Xing Chen like this, she wouldn’t be able to resist pouncing on him!

But in retreating, she was instantly beaten rcilessly by the cold rain...
Shivering all over, Ran Xiangsi initially trembled but then felt an overwhelming coolness. The rain washing over her body just so happened to reduce that inexplicable heat!
"So comfortable!" Ran Xiangsi couldn’t help but exclaim, spinning joyfully in the rain!
She tilted her head back, not caring if her clothes were getting soaked, only feeling an unprecedented sense of comfort!
Xing Chen frowned at her sudden madness, quickly stepped forward putting the umbrella over her head, and said in a low voice, "The wound on your head isn’t fully healed yet, do you want to die?"
"The wound healed long ago, it’s fine!" Ran Xiangsi smiled and shook her head, wanting to experience the coolness again, she kept stepping back, trying to leave the cover of Xing Chen’s umbrella.
But she didn’t expect that behind her was a flower bed raised above the ground. When she kicked it, she lost her balance and slipped. "Ah!"
