They picked a sowhat quiet coffee shop.
Alan and Lou Xining sat facing each other.
In front of them, there was a steaming cup of coffee respectively.
Drinking coffee at this hour wasn’t for any other reason but to keep each other awake.
Between the two coffee cups, there was a small package of white stuff.
It wasn’t the powdery substance Alan had imagined, but sothing wrapped in a white silk cloth.
Earlier in the alley, the lighting was poor, so she only vaguely saw sothing white and naturally assud it was sothing bad...
But after opening it, she discovered that lying inside was just a key.
A bit worn, it clearly had so age to it.
The reason Lou Xining went to et the red-haired man in that alley today was to retrieve this key.
Lou Xining slightly frowned, looking uncharacteristically serious at the girl with her head bowed in front of him.
Seeing her like this, she looked like a wilted eggplant, completely deflated.
Presumably, she realized she had misunderstood him.
"What on earth do you think about all day? Watched too many cop movies?" Lou Xining still couldn’t figure out how she could mistake a piece of white paper for drugs!
"..." Alan didn’t dare to speak, her face burning fiercely red.

Lou Xining paused, it wasn’t that he hadn’t considered Alan might deny it, after all, both parties forgetting would probably be the best outco, right?
But seeing her so openly denying it, suddenly... there was a bit of disappointnt.
A person like him normally wouldn’t care about such matters, but this ti, he didn’t know why, he strangely didn’t want her to forget this incident.
"Didn’t you say you could drink a thousand cups without getting drunk? Doing but not acknowledging, is this your style?" Lou Xining said these words to conceal his inner guilt, intentionally making his tone severe.
He figured using a severe tone would make him seem less strange, right?
He couldn’t understand himself either, this was originally an accident, why would he take it up with a little girl?
