Jorge Saxton shook his head, looking at Arlo Seys, who was just as worried as he was about the operating room doors, and said in a deep voice, "Give it to Arlo Seys. He’s the father of the child and more qualified to na them."
Veralina Quinn carried the child to Arlo Seys and handed the baby to him.
Arlo Seys’s eyes remained fixed on the operating room doors. He didn’t spare even a glance for the child, his expression indifferent.
Veralina Quinn’s fingers were sowhat stiff as she held the baby, and she spoke hoarsely to her son, "Arlo, this is your and Ariel’s child, a child Ariel risked her life to bring into the world. You must love them doubly. I believe Ariel thinks like I do and would want you to cherish the child. If she knew that the child she risked her life to give birth to wasn’t loved by you, Ariel would be very upset."
Arlo Seys faintly shifted his gaze, taking a brief look at the child.
The child had inherited his features, not Ariel’s. Arlo Seys looked at the child and said, without any emotion, coldly, "Let’s call him Ryan Seys. I hope this child’s arrival ignites hope and ensures Ariel’s safety. ’Ryan’ and ’Ariel’ sound alike, and I also hope his presence doesn’t bring pain, allowing Ariel to have another attachnt, to be strong enough to get through this and stay by my side."
Veralina Quinn nodded, "Ryan Seys, a good na. And what about the sister? What will she be called?"
Arlo Seys looked at the doors of the operating room, his gaze deep, "Iris Seys."
Ariel Morris was the only one in Arlo Seys’s heart.

Ariel Morris’s surgery lasted more than two hours before she was wheeled out of the operating room and into the ICU.
Everyone from the Seys Family, along with Jorge Saxton, stood outside the ICU room. A doctor ca out from inside.
"The patient’s condition is not good and could beco critical at any mont. Be prepared ntally. We also don’t know if the antidote injection will work. It’s all up to fate."
The doctor left this sentence, sighed, and left.
Veralina Quinn, holding Ryan Seys, said hoarsely, "Ryan Seys, look at the person lying inside; that’s your mother. She fought with all her might to protect you and your sister. You must cheer for your mom and help her hold on."
Arlo Seys looked at the pale person lying in the ICU room, his fingers tightly clenching, and said coldly to his mother, Veralina Quinn, "Take the child away."
Every ti he saw the child, he hated himself for agreeing to let her keep the child, for supporting her decision to have the baby. If the child was exchanged for her life, he didn’t want them.
He only wanted her to be safe and sound, never considering having these two children!
Veralina Quinn and Evan Seys, among others, knew that Arlo Seys blad the arrival of these two children for placing Ariel Morris in critical condition. They understood he didn’t want to see these two children because, in Arlo Seys’s mind, Ariel Morris always ca first.
Veralina Quinn, Evan Seys, and others took Ryan Seys away to visit Little Princess Iris Seys in the incubator room.
Arlo Seys, however, paid no attention to his children, remaining by the ICU room window, gazing wordlessly at the person inside.
Day and night, Arlo Seys kept vigil outside the room, sotis with tears in his eyes as he watched the person inside.
Arlo Seys’s fingers gently stroked the glass window, looking at the person inside and whispering hoarsely, "Hold on, Ariel, I’ll give anything to have you back by my side. Can you spare a thought for and not leave ruthlessly?"
"I’ve only written those love letters for you, Ariel Morris. I still want to spend a lifeti writing the longest love letter to you. Didn’t you regret that I didn’t chase after you when we were young? Didn’t you always say you were the one who pursued ?".....
