Daisy Grant was slightly taken aback, her voice tinged with nervousness, "Second brother, why are you at the door?"
Dawn Sutherland’s gaze was sowhat deep, "Donna said dinner is ready, so I ca out to check if you were back. Who was that person just now, seems unfamiliar."
Daisy Grant lowered her eyes, "No one... just a friend."
Dawn Sutherland responded with a faint hmm and took Daisy Grant’s hand, heading towards the Grant Family ho.
The two of them had dinner.
Daisy Grant stood outside the study door, watching the figure still busy under the light at eleven or twelve o’clock, her lips pressed tightly together.
Daisy’s heart ached inside her eyes.

Silently, Daisy turned and went back to her bedroom.
She returned to her room, opened her bag, and took out her phone, yet her gaze was drawn by a jewelry box inside her bag.
"What is this? It’s not supposed to be in my bag."
Daisy opened the box, and upon seeing the contents, her eyes turned deep and warm.
Inside the box was a small shell, white with a faint purple hue, so faint yet it was clearly a natural shell, not artificially processed.
Did her second brother find it and give it to her?
Daisy’s eyes beca slightly sore, "They say purple is lucky, which actually isn’t wrong. The purple shell you gave back then, at least it ant I had you for a while, spent so ti as your wife."
"During these tis, I’ve shed tears and shared laughter, every mont with you was happiness and joy, as if living in a dream."

Daisy held her phone as she dialed the number, her eyes slightly reddened.
When the call connected, Daisy paused, her voice a bit hoarse, "Aidan Sutherland, the thing you want, let’s talk, bring the surveillance footage you have. Don’t pull any tricks, straighten up for once, don’t make despise you. If you try breaching again, I have ways to make you and the Sutherland Family pay the due price!"
After hanging up, Daisy clutched the shell in her palm, her gaze deep red, her voice husky, "Actually, I have many things to say to you, but recalling the love letter I wrote, ignored by you and without response, I can’t bring myself to speak. I fear hearing again ’Dawn Sutherland never loved Daisy Grant’..."
