Nicole’s wine glass was just brought to her lips when Steven Cooper’s hand blocked it.
Facing Nicole’s bright, sparkling eyes, Steven smiled slightly, "Blocking a drink is a man’s job."
"Pouring out affection! Who would’ve thought one day we’d be choked by Minister Cooper’s affection!"
The colleagues laughed and teased, and Steven downed the drink generously, actually finishing three glasses.
"Minister Cooper? You... Brother Cooper, have you been promoted again?" Nicole looked at Steven, slightly stunned after he drank three glasses.
"Sis, don’t you know? Our Minister Cooper was promoted a while ago and is likely to beco the youngest minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs! We truly admire Brother Cooper’s professional abilities! Sis, you’re fortunate; you and Brother Cooper are a match made in heaven!" said a sunny-looking colleague nad Nolan Cox.
The title ’Sis’ made Steven’s mood exceptionally good, but Nicole lowered her eyes a little shyly and softly said, "Brother Cooper, congratulations on your promotion."
Steven was very happy to hear Nicole’s congratulations and smiled as he said ’thank you.’
"Actually, when I first arrived, I was worried, worried that ladies are all spoiled and act like princesses, especially being treated like royalty in the Seys Family, surely they’d be seriously spoiled and delicate. The title ’Sis’ seed to be how Steven’s colleagues had collectively started referring to her, sothing Nicole wasn’t too used to but didn’t comnt on, smiling as she took a seat with Steven.
A table full of dishes was ordered, guests were joyful, and Steven was very gentlemanly and attentive, helping Nicole with her food, making the al enjoyable.
Except for one female colleague who occasionally threw an unfriendly look at Nicole, everything else was good.
After the al, they moved to Royal One KTV.

Nicole waved to Steven and went to the restroom.
Passing by a room, as a server opened the door, Nicole happened to walk by and was seen by soone seated inside, their gaze slightly deep.

Nicole ca out of the restroom, just washed her hands, and was about to turn back to the room when she saw a tall, indifferent figure standing at the corner, startling her.
