"Hmm?" Jose Floyd glanced at her, his gaze filled with inquiry.
"Studying dicine can heal wounds. If you get hurt, I can help. I want to study dicine." Nicole clearly articulated each word, speaking calmly and composedly.
Jose Floyd looked at Nicole for a good while, his eyes unfathomable, "Nicole, what do you think your identity is here right now?"
Nicole stared into Jose Floyd’s eyes and replied, "Your woman."
Jose Floyd’s eyebrows moved involuntarily, "You’re claiming to be my woman?"
"Isn’t that the case? The contract we signed was originally like that. Or do I look like just a pet in your eyes? Or worse, a plaything?"
Jose Floyd didn’t answer Nicole’s words, his gaze deep and somber, and after a long ti, he lifted his gaze to look at Nicole, "I’ll give you two choices: one, be my pet. Two, truly be my woman. Nicole, I’m only giving you one chance; you must decide now."
"I choose the second!" Nicole’s voice was light, her gaze pure as she looked at Jose Floyd, without a hint of distraction.
"Think it through before answering." Jose Floyd raised his eyelids to glance at Nicole.
Nicole moved closer to Jose Floyd, her gaze determined and stubborn, "I choose the second, no regrets! Jose Floyd, a pet may receive your affection, but soday it will be thrown into so corner. But I choose to be your woman." Nicole softly smiled, her beautiful pale fingers pointing at Jose Floyd’s left heart, "I want to be your number one, Jose Floyd, I want you to only have in your heart for life. I want the na Nicole to be a shackle you can never escape, allowing to be carefree and willful in your world."
For a long ti, the room was silent.
Nicole’s fingertips still rested on Jose Floyd’s heart.
Aside from Nicole’s slightly nervous accelerated breathing, there was no other sound.
Nicole looked at the unchanging man sitting there, her gaze sowhat dim, and as she awkwardly intended to retract her hand, it was suddenly grasped.
"Floyd." Nicole’s bright eyes looked at Jose Floyd’s profile and called out.
Jose Floyd’s gaze was fixed straight into the depths of Nicole’s pupils, his words firm and resonant, "Nicole, rember your choice. For your whole life, you must rember what you said today. If you act willful by my side, I can tolerate and spoil you. But if you distance yourself and be willful, Nicole, the consequences of betraying will leave you wishing you were dead."
"I understand." Nicole nodded.
Jose Floyd tapped Camden’s phone, calling him upstairs.
"Take her to Maria, and tattoo ’Floyd’ on her right shoulder."
Camden gave Nicole, who had just arrived, a surprised look, and nodded, "Yes, sir."
Camden took Nicole to Maria, and Maria followed Jose Floyd’s instructions and tattooed ’Floyd’ on Nicole’s right shoulder.
Upon returning ho, Jose Floyd called Nicole over to look at the mark on her shoulder, his gaze deep, "Nicole, you’ll never have the chance to go back on this. If you want to leave my side, it’ll only be if I die. From today onwards, you are Jose Floyd’s person, exclusively mine, understood?"
Nicole nodded, "I understand."
From the next day on, Nicole truly understood the difference between being Jose Floyd’s woman and being a pet.
From the servants in the house to Camden and a group of bodyguards, all treated her with utmost respect, just as they treated Jose Floyd.
From clothes to all decorations and jewelry, everything was provided, with outfits for all seasons filling her entire wardrobe.
Even at school, teachers and school leaders smiled at her, friendly enough to surprise her.
