Jose Floyd’s cold voice ca from the doorway, "Nicole, I don’t want to hear this again today, and I don’t like you being a smartass!"
Jose Floyd disappeared at the doorway, leaving Nicole’s mind in a haze.
"What a strange man! Trying to help him and he gives a cold shoulder, his face is so chilly, he might as well be an ice lolly!" Nicole muttered to herself, pulling the covers over her head to sleep.
anwhile, Jose Floyd returned to his study, rembering what Nicole said earlier, causing both his eyes and heart to flare up with anger.
He hadn’t touched her, yet she suggested he go out for fun?
Was she implying he had another woman sowhere else?
Why was he so furious?! Why did he feel like strangling her?!

The first ti the two had a little conflict, in the morning, Nicole ca out of her room just as Jose Floyd erged from the study.
"Jose, good morning."
Under the eaves, she had to be practical, especially since she couldn’t let Jose Floyd ignore her; she was going to get into Jose Floyd’s heart for revenge!
So the smile on Nicole’s face was bright.
Jose Floyd glanced at Nicole indifferently, said nothing, and stepped downstairs.
"Jose!" Nicole quickly blocked Jose Floyd, "Can you stop being angry? If you stay mad, then I’ll... I’ll..."
Nicole’s cheeks reddened slightly.
Jose Floyd looked at her patiently, waiting for her next words.
Nicole steeled herself, approached him, stood on tiptoe, and kissed Jose Floyd’s indifferent cheek.
Her kiss was light and gentle, bringing with it the unique fragrance of a girl. Jose Floyd’s cold eyes rippled for a mont, fleetingly brushed by tenderness.
"If you don’t forgive , I’ll forcefully kiss you!" she laughed softly, mischievously, as adorable as a little fox.
Jose Floyd’s deep gaze quietly observed the person before him, his heart beating overly actively.
"Ahem—Young Master, Miss Nicole, you can co downstairs for breakfast now." Aunt Myres ca up to summon the two and was a bit uneasy witnessing this morning’s intimate scene.
Nicole’s face instantly turned crimson, ashad to respond to Aunt Myres.
It was her first ti initiating a kiss with a man, and soone had seen it. How embarrassing it would be when everyone sees each other daily~!
Jose Floyd’s gaze swept over Nicole, who had been confidently forward monts earlier but was now ashadly wishing to disappear into the ground. His lips involuntarily curled slightly, barely noticeable as he nodded lightly to Aunt Myres and proceeded downstairs.
"Jose, wait for !"
Nicole, embarrassed and annoyed, quickly caught up with Jose Floyd, her fair and lovely fingers wrapped around his wrist, murmuring with a blush, "Why is it always who ends up humiliated!"
Upon hearing her grievance, the softness in Jose Floyd’s gaze deepened further, though he kept his expression intentionally calm, unnoticed by others.
A small quarrel, a spark of Jose Floyd’s temper, effortlessly resolved by Nicole’s gentle, proactive kiss.
Later, Nicole asked Aunt Myres whether, if Jose Floyd got temperantal again, this trick would still work?
Would it cease to be effective after one use?
Aunt Myres responded with a deep smile, seriously suggesting, "Miss Nicole, if the young master gets angry, just use today’s trick. If one kiss isn’t enough, use two; no temper can escape the power of tender persuasion. Of course, if things are more serious, Miss Nicole, you could go directly for the young master’s front."
"Front..." Nicole’s cheeks instantly turned rosy.
