"Ariel," Arlo Seys called out, his voice taut.
Ariel Morris smiled softly, hiding her emotions, "Yes, Arlo." She walked over and gently greeted the person standing next to Arlo Seys, "Scarlett."
Scarlett Morris coldly replied with a simple "Hmm," her eyes unfriendly.
From her tone, Ariel Morris could hear her displeasure. Was she unhappy because Ariel interrupted her conversation with Arlo Seys?
Compared to her coldness towards her sister, Scarlett Morris turned to Arlo Seys with a smile, sweetly saying, "Arlo Seys, we have to go ho, let’s talk next ti."
Arlo Seys’s expression remained cool, and he didn’t respond, only glancing montarily at the sowhat distracted Ariel Morris. His thin lips moved, but in the end, he said nothing.
Ariel Morris smiled faintly, "Arlo, you should head ho, it’s getting late."
Arlo Seys hesitated, lowering his eyes slightly, his voice sounding sowhat low when he replied, "Alright."
Arlo Seys watched as Ariel Morris and her sister got into the car and left. He thought about what Scarlett Morris had just said to him, looking at the departing rcedes, his fingertips trembled slightly. Then he slowly turned and walked in the opposite direction.
The night fell, and the streetlights gradually lit up, illuminating every pedestrian. Arlo Seys waved at Uncle Glenn, the driver, and continued walking slowly in the cold wind, his silhouette appearing aloof, indifferent, yet lonely and desolate.
Uncle Glenn slowed the car down, not disturbing him, dutifully following behind him at a gentle pace.

Ariel Morris gazed out the window, lost in thought, and felt like crying as she rembered how she’d been distancing herself from Arlo Seys recently.
Sitting next to her, Scarlett Morris glanced at her, speaking in a cold tone, "Ariel Morris, from now on, you should cut ties with Arlo Seys. You said yourself you don’t like him and want to break up."
Ariel Morris snapped out of her thoughts and replied coolly, "What happens between him and is none of your business."
Scarlett Morris sneered, "Do you think soone like you, who toys with emotions, would have Arlo Seys foolish enough to be with you again?"
Ariel Morris’s pupils narrowed as she looked at Scarlett Morris, "What are you trying to say?"
Scarlett Morris gave a mocking smile but didn’t answer.
Ariel Morris’s eyes suddenly widened, her gaze fixed on Scarlett Morris, carrying a cold intensity, her voice clear and frosty, "Scarlett Morris, what did you tell him?!"
"What else could I say? I just revealed your true colors to him, letting him know you were playing with his feelings!" Scarlett Morris sneered, "Ariel Morris, am I wrong? Aren’t you the one who’s indifferent to him and wants to break up? I rember you firmly telling our parents you don’t want to continue this relationship with Arlo Seys! Am I wrong, Ariel Morris?!"
Ariel Morris’s fingertips trembled slightly. She bit her lip, looking coldly at her sister, "Scarlett Morris, did you tell all this to Arlo Seys?"
Scarlett Morris snorted, not answering, her eyes filled with sarcasm as she glanced at Ariel Morris.
"Stop the car!" Ariel Morris abruptly commanded, her voice icy and urgent.
"Ignore her, keep driving! I’m hungry, I want to get ho for dinner!" Scarlett Morris instructed the driver.
Recalling Arlo Seys’s aloof and hesitant deanor at the school gate, the silence where he wanted to speak but didn’t, Ariel Morris felt a sharp pain in her heart. She looked at Scarlett Morris, articulating each word with piercing coldness, "Scarlett Morris, if you dare interfere in my affairs with Arlo again, don’t bla for not being nice! I tolerate you because the Morris Family has done a favor. I’ve yielded to you countless tis growing up, but if you dare speak reckless words that hurt Arlo, I tell you, I, Ariel Morris, will not let it go!"
Scarlett Morris was indifferent, "Ariel Morris, weren’t you going to tell him all this eventually? I did you a favor, and instead of being grateful, you scold ! Ariel Morris, against , you’re only going to lose! I’ve made up my mind, Arlo Seys will be mine!"
