Ariel Morris looked at her, puzzled, and softly said, "Why don’t you turn on the lights? It’s drizzling outside, and the weather is a bit chilly. It’s better to close the windows while sleeping, or you might catch a cold."
Her concern made Arlo Seys’ pupils grow even colder as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the room.
"What are you doing, Arlo Seys?!" His grip was so strong that it hurt Ariel Morris’s wrist.
Arlo remained silent, and in the dim room, a cool spring breeze blew in. Ariel Morris looked up at him and felt the cold aura emanating from his entire body. She beca a bit scared and struggled hard, trying to break free from Arlo’s restraint.
Arlo tightly clinched Ariel Morris’s wrist, his eyes icy and devoid of warmth, his expression terrifyingly gloomy.
"Arlo Seys, I haven’t done anything to provoke you today!" Why was he so inconsiderate as to drag her into the room? Ariel hissed lowly.
Arlo looked at her, his tone cold, "Yes, you haven’t provoked ! Ariel Morris, have you forgotten the agreent between us? Have you forgotten what I said? Hmm?"
"What words?" Pain shot through Ariel’s wrist, and she involuntarily frowned, "Arlo Seys, let go of first! You’re hurting !"
Arlo ignored Ariel’s cries, lifting his other free hand to grip her jaw directly, forcing her to face him. Then in a cold voice, he said, "Ariel Morris, daring to flirt around? Daring to ignore my warnings? Want to play both sides? Fine, Ariel Morris, let’s see what skills you have to juggle two n!"
The sll of alcohol—strong and pungent—hit her directly. Ariel’s first reaction was: Arlo Seys was drunk, very drunk.
Realizing this, Ariel cald down and stopped struggling, her tone softening significantly, "Arlo Seys, what’s wrong? Why such a big temper?"
Her gentleness did not improve the indifference in Arlo’s expression. Instead, he let out a mocking snort and continued coldly, "Are you feeling guilty now, trying to act innocent in front of ? Ariel Morris, I warned you to avoid other n, or I would terminate our contract! Did you forget, hmm?!"
His words were filled with mockery. Ariel looked back at him, her tone hardening, "Arlo Seys, what drunken tantrum are you throwing! Who flirted with n? Don’t insinuate! Yes, we have a contract, and I’m your lover now, but can you show so respect? Ridiculing for no reason, does it make you feel better?!"
After speaking, Ariel struggled hard to free her wrist from his grip, wanting to escape his room.
But Arlo gave Ariel no chance to escape. Not only did one hand tightly grasp Ariel’s wrist, but his other hand relentlessly clenched her jaw, his tone chilly, "I want you to fulfill our contract now and carry out your duties as a lover!"
Ariel looked at him in shock, disbelief written all over her face.
He ant he wanted her to sleep with him tonight?!
Ariel stood dumbfounded, not reacting at all. Arlo gave her a cold glance, "What, are you planning not to continue with the contract?"
Ariel bit her lip, her face pale as she gazed straight at the person in front of her, only feeling that this cold Arlo Seys was truly unfamiliar to her.
Arlo’s sharp gaze pierced her with coldness and sarcasm, "Or do you not know how to begin? Need to teach you?"
