In another private room at Lushwoods Inn, Arlo Seys’ hand holding the phone trembled slightly, panic flashed in his eyes, and he suddenly stood up, forcefully pushing the chair aside as he headed out.
Arlo Seys’ abrupt and intense reaction startled everyone at the table; they looked at each other, afraid to voice their questions.
"President Seys, what happened? Where are you going?"
Callan Walkers called out anxiously behind him.
As if he hadn’t heard, Arlo Seys swiftly exited the private room, disappearing from everyone’s sight.
"What happened? I’ve never seen President Seys so panicked before."
Everyone at the table turned their questioning gazes toward Arlo Seys’ assistant, Callan Walkers.
Callan was also clueless about what had gone wrong with his boss. The contract was almost signed, yet his boss left without a word, abandoning the CEO of their partner company — that’s standing them up! Boss, are you really giving up on a deal worth billions?
Fearing that the boss had really encountered trouble, Callan glanced at the three major business partners at the table, seeing the confusion and curiosity in their eyes, he simply suggested, "Why don’t we go and see what’s up with President Seys?"
Callan’s suggestion was imdiately agreed upon by the other three CEOs.
Everyone was curious about what could so deeply unsettle the usually composed and calm President of Era, Arlo Seys.
Callan and the three CEOs followed down the corridor where Arlo Seys had turned left after exiting the private room.

When Arlo Seys reached the restroom, he saw a few people gathered at the entrance discussing.
Arlo Seys pushed through the crowd, only to see a person unconscious and lying on the ground.
The body curled up, a hand on the abdon, sweat covering the face, lips unusually pale.
Arlo Seys could clearly feel how violently his fingertips were trembling.
Ignoring everything else, Arlo Seys squatted down, picked up Ariel Morris’s dropped phone, and carried her horizontally away.
Seeing the obstructive crowd, Arlo Seys shouted uncontrollably, "Get out of the way!"
The crowd imdiately dispersed, standing aside to let him through.
Callan and others, who arrived later, were startled by Arlo Seys’ frantic and angry deanor, and they too stepped aside.
Everyone watched as Arlo Seys carried a girl away.
As Arlo Seys’ assistant, Callan had never seen his boss so cold and intimidating, standing in stunned silence for more than ten seconds. Coming back to his senses, Callan smiled and made ands with the three CEOs that Arlo Seys had ignored: "President Seys’ friend... um, the lady who fainted is President Seys’ friend."
Everyone showed an expression of sudden understanding.

The doctor issued a hospitalization order for the unconscious Ariel Morris; the diagnosis was acute gastroenteritis.
Arlo Seys looked at the low-hanging night outside the window, rembering how he had sped through traffic in panic and fear, nearly crashing into several cars. His eyes deepened.
