Arlo Seys and Ariel Morris stayed in the hospital for five days before returning to the villa in Royal View City. Ariel decided to ditch the wheelchair and asked Callan to buy her a crutch.
Back in Royal View City, free from the hospital’s disinfectant sll, Ariel felt completely refreshed.
"Luckily, I only broke one leg; the other can still walk! These days in the wheelchair, I felt like I was turning into a zombie."
Nicole helped her sit down, laughing, "Good thing you’re not crippled. I’ll go make so food for you guys. Arlo, do you want to call Aunt Forest over from the old house?"
Arlo replied calmly, "No need, there’s not much to do here. I’ll be at the company during the day; let Aunt Forest stay at the old house. Grandpa likes her cooking."
Nicole glanced aningfully at Arlo, then gave Ariel a knowing look, smiled, and went to the kitchen.
Ariel slowly got up with her crutch, "I need a shower to wash off this sll of disinfectant."
Leaning on her crutch, Ariel hopped on one foot toward the stairs. At the staircase, she hesitated, looking at the series of steps. She gritted her teeth and jumped onto the first step.
Arlo’s eyes deepened as he sat on the sofa, and he got up to walk over.
Walking beside Ariel, he didn’t stop, leisurely continued up the stairs, steady step, with a tall and confident back.
Ariel: "... Can you give a hand?"
There’s soone with a leg issue here, God Seys, can’t you spare a glance! Have so compassion!!
Arlo glanced back at her, answered softly, "Alright."
With that, he approached her and, before Ariel could react, directly picked her up. His expression was calm and composed, still as cool and indifferent as before.
His princess carry made Ariel’s face bloom with a blush, speaking nervously, "Ar--Arlo Seys, thank you."
Arlo carried Ariel upstairs, heading toward his master bedroom.
"Arlo Seys, are you going the wrong way? My room’s next door... Why take to the master bedroom?"
Arlo placed her on his bed and replied in a mild tone, "There’s a bathtub in your bedroom? How are you going to shower with one leg? Do you think you can balance on one leg?"
Though God Seys’ words weren’t pleasant, they were accurate. Ariel blushed and whispered, "... Well, thank you then!"
Arlo pressed his lips, "I’ll go run the bathwater for you."
With that, Arlo turned and went to the bathroom.
Ariel watched in surprise as he turned away, and a faint smile involuntarily spread to her lips.
The gentle, considerate God Seys looked handso no matter how you see it!
Her heart started to flutter again!
After running the bathwater, Arlo carried Ariel to the bathroom. Ariel showered for half an hour before coming out wrapped in a towel.
Arlo, addressing the accumulated paperwork, glanced at her. Ariel gave a pleading smile, "Just borrowed a towel, forgot to take clothes in to change."
Arlo replied with a calm "Hmm," "There are so new clothes in the wardrobe; you can use them to change."
Hopping on one foot to the wardrobe, Ariel was surprised to find over a dozen outfits inside, "Are these for ? ---- Should I ask the price first..."
She didn’t want to add new debt without clearing the old!
Arlo, focusing on the docunts, spoke smoothly, "Buy n’s clothes, get won’s free. No cost!"
"Is there really such a good deal?" Ariel turned to look, "Arlo Seys, are you teasing ?"
Arlo glanced up at her evenly, "Because I’m a platinum mber of that store." Also happens to own it.
If he says it’s free, it’s free!
Ariel bead with joy, "Then I can wear them without worries! Arlo Seys, um... thank you!"
Taking a set of clothes, Ariel walked out grinning, planning to head back to her room to change when she accidentally bumped her injured leg on the bed corner.
"Ah!!" Ariel scread in pain.
Arlo imdiately put down his docunts, swiftly stepping forward to check her injury, his brows furrowed tightly, "Ariel Morris, are you an idiot!"
