Ariel Morris, well aware that Martin was trying to ease the tension, gave the girl who spoke with malice a side glance and half-jokingly, half-seriously replied to Martin, "Such a headache, God Seys is still so popular, I have to go all over the world to eliminate rivals in love."

Ariel Morris raised her glass, "A toast to Brother Dawn!" That remark was such a perfect complent!!

Ariel Morris had just raised her glass to bring it to her lips when a fair and elegant hand snatched it mid-air. She looked up and t Arlo Seys’ slightly furrowed brows, and before she could ask why he took her glass, Arlo’s calm and aloof voice resounded.
"Do you want to ruin your legs?!"
Ariel t his indifferent face but felt a warmth. She gave him a gentle smile, her eyes twinkling, "You’ll take care of for a lifeti anyway."
That sentence was spoken with half intention and half unintentional.
The words were intended to provoke Valeria Johnson, to make her furious. But deep inside, Ariel also wanted to confess her true feelings using the anger directed at Valeria.

Arlo Seys’ fingers paused for a mont, then he raised the drink he’d taken and drained it without a word.

Valeria Johnson’s face was already ashen. In front of Arlo, she couldn’t directly confront Ariel, especially considering everyone thought it was an accident when Ariel went missing at Elephant Hill. If she argued with Ariel now, Arlo and Dawn would certainly beco suspicious about Ariel’s disappearance.
Valeria was filled with hatred for Ariel to the extre, yet all she could do was quietly endure, unable to eat.

After the al, everyone suggested going to KTV, clamoring for Arlo Seys, now the CEO of Era Corporation, to foot the bill.
The group then moved to Beaupalace, the largest and most luxurious KTV in City C.
Ariel wheeled herself to the restroom first, while the others headed to the private room.
As Ariel was about to reach the corridor leading to the restroom, she stopped and, without turning her head, spoke in a clear and frosty tone, "Valeria Johnson, it’s impressive you managed to endure my veiled insults at Lushwoods Inn without a word. Turned into a ninja turtle, didn’t you?"
Valeria, who had followed her, stepped forward with a cold laugh, "Why didn’t you die at Elephant Hill!"
Ariel pressed her lips, her voice cold, "Sorry to disappoint you! Valeria Johnson, I’m not going to let this go!"
Valeria gave Ariel a once-over, "What can you do to ? Sitting in a wheelchair now, and you still think you can flaunt it over ? You didn’t tell Arlo about the yacht and Elephant Hill incidents because you’re worried he won’t believe you, right? Ariel, the bond between you isn’t that deep, not as mutual trust as you’d think!"
