Ariel Morris lightly laughed, "That’s just perfect!"
Callan Walkers: "...Miss Morris, you’ve been led astray by President Seys, that big bad wolf! You’ve turned into a black-hearted one! Despite my quiet support for you to ascend as our CEO’s wife, I’m heartbroken!" Callan said, putting on an utterly devastated look.
Ariel Morris burst out laughing, "Special Assistant Walkers, with your sunny and adorable deanor, whoever marries you will surely have a rich and colorful life, never lonely."
"I think so too! Miss Morris, I’m giving you a row of likes!!"
As the two were chatting and laughing, the door to the CEO’s office suddenly opened, and Arlo Seys walked out.
"Callan, you’re getting more and more idle." Arlo Seys coldly glanced at his assistant, his voice clear and chilly.
Callan imdiately stood up straight, saluting respectfully, "No! President Seys! I was discussing work matters with Miss Morris! Please, President Seys, have a clear view!"
Ariel Morris smiled and nodded, fully cooperating with Callan’s act.
Arlo Seys gave Callan a glance, "I see you’ve got a sunny smile! The sales departnt needs soone like you who is sunny and loves to smile, Callan, the more I look at you, the more you fit the sales departnt!"
Smiling so sunny and cute in front of his Miss Morris, that was Callan’s biggest mistake! His Miss Morris hadn’t complinted him like that!
Callan imdiately dashed back to his desk, "President Seys, I’m very busy! I’m extrely busy!!"
Arlo Seys took a sideways glance at the quiet and earnest working Callan and, turning back to look at Ariel Morris, there was a softness in his eyes, "After work today, let’s go to the south of the city for dinner."
Ariel Morris paused, recalling the Morris Family’s invitation, pursing her lips, "Let’s talk after work. I’ll translate this docunt for you first, it’s needed for the eting later."
Arlo Seys gave a slight smile, nodded, and went back into his office to continue working.
Ariel Morris sat at her desk, opened the docunt, and looked at the densely packed English words, finding herself a bit out of sorts. Recalling the Morris Family’s invitation, she subconsciously tightened her grip on the pen, doodling on the paper.
Ariel Morris went to the restroom midway, and when she returned, the docunt on her desk was gone, without any idea who took it.
She hadn’t finished the translation yet, who took it?
Ariel Morris turned to ask Secretary Forest beside her.
"Special Assistant Walkers just took it in for the eting, it’s the file needed for the eting."
"I haven’t completed the translation yet!!" Ariel Morris was frantic! That Callan, how could he take the docunt without checking!
Ariel Morris anxiously peered towards the office, and after more than half an hour, the office door finally opened, and she leapt to her feet.
At this mont, a group of departntal managers ca out, their gazes carrying indistinct smiles as they looked at her. Ariel Morris pressed her lips, utterly baffled. The last to co out was Callan Walkers.
Callan glanced at Ariel Morris, his eyebrows arched in a mischievous grin, cleared his throat, "Miss Morris, there’s a bit of a problem with your translation, President Seys wants you to go in."
Ariel Morris’s heart skipped a beat, a problem with the translation... God Seys would surely scold her to death!
Ariel Morris walked into the office with heavy steps.
"President Seys." She called out in a low voice.
Arlo Seys raised his gaze towards the door where Ariel Morris stood, his voice soft, "Co in, close the door."
"Oh." Ariel Morris lowered her gaze, closed the door, and walked anxiously towards Arlo Seys.
Ariel Morris stopped in front of Arlo Seys’s desk, and he gave her a glance, his voice deep, "Co over."
Ariel Morris obediently walked over, looking as pitiful as possible due to her mistake, hoping God Seys would show leniency.
Just as Ariel Morris got to Arlo Seys’s side, a long arm encircled her waist, and before she knew it, Arlo Seys had pulled her into his arms, and Ariel Morris instantly fell into his embrace, landing onto Arlo Seys’s lap...
