Arlo Seys gazed at the red liquid in his cup, his gaze becoming distant and profound, and the events from eight years ago unfolded before his eyes.
That was the day after he learned about Ariel Morris going abroad. Arlo Seys, still dazed by the news of Ariel Morris’s departure, inwardly refused to acknowledge the authenticity of this news.
He walked out of the school in a daze, stood at the school gate looking at the bicycle he had ridden, and when the heartache made it hard to breathe, a voice ca from behind.

Arlo Seys turned around to see a well-dressed woman smiling warmly at him, and behind her was the rcedes that once ca to pick up Ariel Morris.
Arlo Seys looked at the woman, with a glimr of hope in his eyes, and asked urgently, "Who are you to Ariel? Where is Ariel?"
The woman looked at him and smiled gently, saying, "I’m Ariel’s mother. My na is Laura Pinley."
Laura Pinley took Arlo Seys to a café next to the school.
Laura Pinley maintained a smile on her face that made Arlo Seys feel slightly uneasy. Her smile was unlike Ariel Morris’s. When Ariel smiled, her dimples were deep, her eyes pure, her eyebrows raised slightly, and her smile blood like a dazzling flower.
Laura Pinley’s smile was aningful, making Arlo Seys feel uncomfortable, like a pretended smile, not genuine, and lacked sincerity.
"Do you have sothing to discuss with ? I just want to know where Ariel is." Arlo Seys looked at her, with a hint of hope in his eyes.
Hoping to hear news about Ariel Morris, hoping to get the answer he desired.
Laura Pinley sipped her coffee and smiled lightly, addressing him as "Young Master Seys," then pushed a letter across the table.
"What is this?" Arlo Seys looked at the letter and asked indifferently. A sense of dread arose in his heart, and he was internally resistant to reading this letter.
Laura Pinley looked at Arlo Seys, "Young Master Seys, this is the letter Ariel wrote for you before she went abroad."
Arlo Seys picked up the letter, opened it, and saw a sheet of paper torn in two and then glued back together. At first glance, Arlo Seys felt a chill all over his body, and his hand holding the letter couldn’t help but tremble.
It was a breakup letter. Ariel Morris had left without a word, leaving her mother to deliver a breakup letter to him!
The pain in Arlo Seys’s heart spread throughout his body. Despite giving his heart and soul to maintain the relationship, Ariel Morris’s ruthless break-up letter was all he got in return!
