Ariel Morris watched as the car got closer to Jorge Saxton. She bent down to take off her high heels and ruthlessly swung the heel at the driver’s head from behind.
"Stop the car! Stop the car!"
Ariel went into a frenzy, swinging repeatedly, causing the driver to grimace in pain, clutching his head while screaming and yelling.
Ariel leaned forward and grabbed the steering wheel, making a sharp turn to the right, her eyes cold. As the car neared Jorge’s vehicle, it scratched past his car and headed to the right.
To the right, beneath the guardrail, was the great river...
The car continued moving forward, Ariel couldn’t reach the brake from behind, her fingertips trembled uncontrollably.
Jorge’s eyes narrowed slightly as he watched the suddenly changed situation with Ariel, a complex emotion surfacing in his gaze. He hesitated for just a few seconds before quickly pushing open the car door, sprinting rapidly towards the now uncontrolled vehicle.
"Hit the brake! Quick! It’s the river below! If the car falls, you’ll lose your life! Quick! Hit the brake!!" Ariel scread at the stunned driver.
The driver was clearly scared by the sudden turn of events, his foot trembled as it moved toward the brake.
The car’s speed eased a little but didn’t stop entirely, still moving forward.
The driver, pale with fright, shouted, "It’s no use! The brakes have failed!!" His voice carried a hint of sobbing, evidently terrified and disoriented.
Ariel’s face was equally pale. She quickly returned to her original position, using her high heels to smash the broken glass, yelling, "Open the door, jump out! Quick!"
The driver’s fingers trembled as he fumbled for the unlock button, unlocking all the car doors. By this point, the car had already crashed through the low guardrail, part of the vehicle now suspended over the river.
The driver was quick-eyed and swiftly jumped from the car, rolling onto the roadside, his wrist and leg hitting the ground first, causing him to scream in pain.
Just as Ariel pushed the car door open, she felt the vehicle tilt forward and start to fall! Ariel’s face went completely pale from fear.
"Ariel Morris! Give your hand!" A deep voice commanded.
Ariel instinctively reached out her hand, the car doors all flung open, the vehicle plumting rapidly!
With a thud, the car had already fallen into the river in a split second!
At the most critical mont, soone grabbed her wrist, preventing her from falling, leaving her entire body suspended beside the bridge, with the raging river below.
She raised her eyes to look at the person who saved her at the last mont, her voice hoarse, face devoid of color, "Jorge--- Jorge Saxton."
Jorge’s hand holding her was still wrapped in a bandage, with bright red soaked through becoming increasingly visible. Ariel’s fingertips trembled as she bit her lip looking at Jorge, "Your hand---"
Jorge glanced at his own hand, his face indifferent, his tone fierce, "Stop the damn chatter. One more word and I’ll let go and throw you! You can go feed the fish!!"
Ariel bit her lip, "Don’t--- don’t throw ! I still want to stay alive to marry Arlo as his wife! If I die, he’ll marry another woman!"
Jorge: "...Damien Morris actually spawned such a bizarre daughter, truly a sight to behold!"
If he let go, she’d be feeding the fish directly! And here she is thinking about another man!!
Jorge’s injured hand used all its strength to pull Ariel up; the excessive force made beads of sweat appear densely on Jorge’s forehead from the pain.
Jorge’s hand was injured and wrapped, the bright red color becoming more pronounced. Ariel bit her lip watching, speaking in a deep tone: "Jorge Saxton--- if it hurts too much--- you can let go---- your hand is covered in blood."
